Kmart Australia Limited Review

For me it's the large garden section. Lot's of options at good prices. No advice available other than that on the cards with the plants. Indoor and outdoor plants of all sorts plus garden supplies.

It's Kmart. A large department store, good prices usually but an odd checkout system. Don't expect too much but be pleasantly surprised with what you might find.

Hard to find staff to help with purchases, and I am not a fan of the checkouts in the centre of the store.

Cheap stuff , lot of variety , plenty of things to buy from at a low price .

Staff were very helpful here pointing me in the right direction.

24Hour kmart, super convinient and near other shops and supermarkets.

Horribly understaffed for a weekend, no service, unable to locate stock items or provide a soluation as to how to place stock on hold or to be notified when back in. Spent 30 mins trying to find two things. ABSOLOUTE NIGHTMARE

Great as it's open 24/7.
Inexpensive clothing and kids toys (but "ya get what ya pay for"). I bought a few flannelette shirts for $7 each, which I'll be happy to get 3 months out of, any longer is a bonus

This is one of my all time great loves and was like a warm hug when my nightmare came true and I had to move out here to the burbs.

24hr Kmart. We ve had some good times and bad. But you are a dependable beacon of light in my dark and ordinary world.

A great place to park at 1am if life is getting too tough and you need a cry.

Really, there is no reason not to come here.

Been a bit slack on the stock lately but I m hoping it s temporary.

It s 24 hours, can t beat that for convenience! Stock and product availability can sometimes be a bit of issue, but overall great place to shop for bargain homewares.

I was looking for something I had no idea where it was in the store. I was taken, not just directed, to the right spot. Really good.

Two heroic male Victoria Police members assisted me at this area in a multitude of ways that completely debunked the negative myths of Victoria Police in general, myths which some savvy people prefer to ignore. Also, Kmart improved the options and quality of their clothing range on offer, in response to consumer concerns regarding corporate global supply chain models and sustainable farming measures. Their adoption of the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) business model addresses such issues and as an added bonus, appears to hold fair trade considerations and Social Inclusivity of marginalised people as part of the supply chain model. It is amazing what a corporate team of determined, like-minded people achieve with a positive attitude and if I delve into my 80s, 90s and even 00s memories, I recall much ignorance and blindness of us consumers, though there were various people questioning supply chain models back then who championed relentlessly for these worthy causes. I like Kmart's Lego and book sections too. Thumbs up.

Lots of stuff sold - go to for cheap stuff on demand, whatever needed

It's nice they have a garden centre at this Kmart and that it's open 24 hours, however their live plants need more attention or at least should be a lot cheaper for the state they're in. Most are underwaterred, looking like they're half dead and unloved.
I bought a spider plant that looked like it was half eaten by something and true enough found 2 live caterpillars on it when I got home.

Great massive KMart that's open 24/7. Great for after dinner shopping. Fantastic range of decent quality products.

Do not like or understand why checkouts in middle ? Really push people to serve themselves.Relatively good value homewares

It's the current love/hate situation with the checkouts in the middle of the store. I'm clearly in there too much when I hear so many people over time, hating the decision. I guess people are still getting used to it months after it's reveal. I personally don't really like the lay out change but what pisses me off more is that I'm a large girl and it seems, since this change quite a few items in the plus sized clothes are no longer carried and they've taken a step backwards there that's really disappointing. What the do have in stock seems to have gotten uglier and more expensive.

Continually discriminated against by various members of staff

Open 24hrs and catering to everyone in need of something to do during the late hours of a weeknight. Can't ask for more.

Lots of discounts, lots of deals for everyone to pick up. Totally recommended for tourists looking to score some cheap purchases.

Always score a bargain, have a high level of stock as it is a large store and love the 24hr convenience

I can never get the things I want here, and it's extremely frustrating when this is meant to be a huge 24hr Kmart. I didn't ask for much and this happens over multiple shopping experience at the burwood one Kmart. Some examples of what I looked for are long socks to play futsal, draw string bag, lunch bag, art and craft cards. Service was alright but everytime I ask a staff for assistance I just get told vague information - pretty much take a look what ever there is there I don't know what stocks we have.

A suitable place to find the best stuff. Things are cheap, durable and one of the best qualities you can find in the price range. They are affordable. Be it stuff for kids, adults or new borns.

You can find bike, utensils, iron, clothes, bikini etc.

Love love this Kmart! Opens 24h 7 days a week which was a saver a couple of times when nothing is open. Cheap, great value for money and heaps of different things to buy!

The hours are awesome if you have last minute something and need to shop anytime .. Kmart has funny new styles and most items are pretty good quality . but you have some doddgie stuff. I'm not happy with toasters and vacuum cleaner electric stuff are not good. But other stuff cheap. Movies shoes clothes home deco

Busy as usual a popular centre for kart comes aldi & together with specialty stores and eateries. Carpark is always busy.

Such a staple of the Eastern Suburban Melbourne lifestyle. Everyone loves a 24/7 Kmart run!

I love kmart, they have really good merchandise at great prices. I always spend to much money there. I don't like the new way the registers are though, all in the middle of the store. But all the Kmart shops are the same way now.

I love this Kmart, open 24/7 so there is always something to do. Great range of products and i've found all of the staff to be friendly here.

Some areas were lacking in stock such as the furniture department. Despite that, we easily found what we were looking for and the staff were attentive and friendly.

Great place huge variety and cheap. Best of all open 24 hrs.

The original Kmart store, it is big and a great range. Always love wondering around for a special.
