The food was great , but the door staff , very rude , looked like they were trying to pick fights with the customers

Amazing nachos, good burgers. A good spot for some good grub.

This place is packed on a regular college weekend after 11 pm. No dress code. 5$ cover for non students.

The cheesesteak egg rolls were really good but the nachos were really expensive and 90% of the cheese was actually on the plate, not on the chips. We ate through like 2/3 of the chips with almost no cheese then got to tons of cheese at the bottom but didn't have any chips left. I definitely wouldn't buy their nachos again. I can melt cheese on top of a plate and pile chips on top of it at home.

This place serves beer, sandwiches, and nachos among other food. The restaurant has an old saloon / tavern vibe which is neat. There is a bar and T.V.s. I enjoy the food here a lot. The customer service has always good in my experience. You can eat here for $13 - 30.

I went here for drinks last night. I arrived around 10:30pm and paid a cover charge to get in. One beer later (20 minutes?), they announced they had a maintenance problem and had to close immediately. No problem. I asked the bouncer for a refund for the cover charge since they were kicking everyone out hours early, and he refused. I'm not going to argue with anyone over $5, but this is just bad business practice. Not cool, Kate's.

Love Kate's. Been going for 20 years. Always good food, drinks and service.

Tuesday the place was jumping... My friend and I order and the waiter was not very attentive and the food was 'absolutely' terrible... the hamburger was barely cooked the fries where cooked much earlier and my friend's salad was overcooked.. I asked for another hamburger [second time in my life I sent something back] and the hamburger never came out... I waited 20 minutes and the waiter was taken orders from other patrons, and then said, "Someone was supposed to bring it to you"... Not prepared as I wanted but now I am needing something to eat to stay awake... then 10 minutes later the fries I ordered came out... Cold as could be...

This place is worth a try. They serve big portions for reasonable prices. Regularly clean and with fantastic mood. Will come back again.

Highly recommend getting the All Tied Up sandwich. The pretzel roll with the honey mustard dipping sauce is something else. Also, check ahead for their specials. They have different items 50% off depending on the day.

Worst vodka collins ever. Tasted like straight collins mix. They treat everyone like a college kid. Sucks.
