I haven t been to this venue since it was Deer Creek when I saw Aerosmith until last night. My husband and I had been looking forward to Twins of Evil the Second Coming for quite awhile and we were not disappointed! We upgraded our seats to Section A Row N seats 4&5 and got Legacy parking. Totally worth it for Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson! The opening band Deadly Apples also put on a great show! The parking was great, we were out of the lot and on the road in 10min. The staff was friendly and professional as well. Yes, the food and drinks are expensive but we ate before we got there and had decided ahead of time to splurge a bit on drinks. Tito s was fantastic, nothing like a few adult lemon shake-ups. They had multiple flavoring options and were super friendly! I like that there was a water vendor traveling through the crowd, it was definitely needed! The bathrooms are what you d expect at a packed show but they had staff guiding everyone to available stalls so the lines went fairly quick. I must add that the fellow concert goers were awesome as well! Just a bunch of true blue fans looking to have a great time, they re like long lost friends I haven t seen in ages. My kind of crowd!!!! My husband and I had a blast and couldn t be more impressed with our experience. I ve been wanting to see Rob Zombie since 1994 when he was White Zombie and Marilyn Manson since 1996 and never had the chance until now. They did not disappoint and I love them even more, if that s even possible.

Went for the Dead & Co show and it was truly amazing. Always a solid venue with a fair balance of being hands-off the peaceful attendees and reining in those that are interfering with others having a great time.

Great show, but horrible acoustics.,, getting out of the lot after the show was stupid. Took about an hour because they let the preferred/ pay extra people out first.. we won't come back,

Really great venue, went to two shows, one on the lawn, and one in the pavilion. Really great time in the pavilion and pretty decent time on the lawn. Only things that weren't great we're that the lawn has zero grass, it's all hay attempting to grow into grass, and the concession prices are worse than movie theaters. But otherwise wonderful time seeing Zac Brown Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

This was a really fun effect. We saw Lady Antebellum and Darius Rukker in concert. The venue is open air and covered pavilion. The venue has stadium seating under the pavilion. The rest of the area is pic nick style sitting on the ground..... take a blanket or a low chair. Food was available at nearby vendors. Fun, fun night.

Hard to get in and out. As long as this place has been open, you would think they would have traffic and parking down to a science. Not the case at all. Beer, drink and food prices are outrageous! They certainly are not spending the money they are making on the facilities. Restrooms are gross, dirty and half the doors won't close.

Great venue. I've been here before but came to see Slipknot had one of the best concert experiences ever. We tailgated in the parking lot before hand. Because who wants to pay 15$ for a beer? If you plan to dri k do it before you go. Also they let you take in bottled water so make sure to do so as it is 5 or 6$ per bottle inside.

Never been here before for an event, but it was perfect and we had the best time. From law enforcement supported parking guidance to easy access, we had no problem knowing where to go and getting in. There were convenient brick and mortar family restrooms and porto's spaced throughout. Food and drink is expensive, but that's to be expected at most events anymore and they serve mixed alcoholic drinks which was a nice alternative to beer. We were able to bring our own blankets, water bottles (up to a gallon) and 9" chairs so lawn seating was a breeze. Overall the Lynyrd skynyrd-marshal tucker-.38 special-jamey Johnson concert we attended was one of the best experiences we've had at an outdoor event/concert... we would ABSOLUTELY go back! **By the way if you haven't heard of Jamey Johnson, check him out**

Ozzy!

This has to be the worst venue I have ever been to. I have tried a few shows and it is always a bad experience. The bands and the music are great but the employees are awful. They are rude and don't care what you have to say. This place is also ridiculous for beer prices. I am use to spending $9 at a show but $12? This is the last time I will be seeing a show here. I will drive to Detroit to see a big show rather than come here.

Food and drink is super expensive. More so than other concert and sporting venues. 7$ water, 19$ tiny mixed drinks, 38$ corn dogs and fries to share. With that said, they allow you to bring in bottled water as long as it s sealed and not frozen. You can also bring in a gallon zip lock bag of food per person, sandwiches, chips, fruit, whatever you like.

Most venues don t allow this so I don t complain about food costs. I just bring my own and save time waiting in line and save $.

They do offer an 8$ unlimited refill soda. So if you fill one several times, even with ice and water that s not too bad of a price.

Bathroom lines can be very long on sold out shows. Avoid the lines and go while the show is playing. They have tv s by the bathrooms. The women s bathrooms always flood. Not sure why, it s done this for years.

Parking is included in ticket price. Be prepared to walk. Getting out can be a pain and somewhat a free for alll until you get to the parking lot gates. To avoid this consider yourself lucky to park in the gravel lot near the exit. Otherwise if you don t want to wait, leave a few minutes before the show ends.

The pedestrian bridge at the front of the venue is very dark and always bottlenecks when people are leaving. With our current social climate, this is concerning and no longer feels safe.

Porta pots are in the parking lot, of course it s quite normal for guys to use the tree line as a urinal and worse.

They do allow bags, blankets, tarps, and small folding beach chairs but ONLY for some shows! They do NOT allow these items for hard rock shows! It never fails people are turned away with these items.

The pavilion offers seats and a pit area out of the sun and rain for the most part. You will get wet if it rains if seated in the back of the pavilion.

If you want a party fun type scene then the lawn is where it s at. It s sloped and can be crazy depending on the crowd and type of show. It isn t always family friendly up there and things can and do happen. Hard rock shows can be bad at times but security tries to get a handle on things, sometimes overly so.

If it storms it can be really bad. I ve seen them make people go back to their cars in horrible lightening storms and tornado warnings. It s very dangerous. They will NOT allow you to go to the bathrooms even though they have storm shelter signs on them.

If space allows they sometimes allow people on the lawn into the pavilion if threat of a storm comes. Other times, they don t. Very inconsistent in this area.

Shows usually end by 11 PM, sometimes earlier and rarely later.

Getting into the venue can take time, so if it s a sold out or weekend show allow yourself time. The security check lines take time too. Empty your pockets and don t bring the kitchen sink and it will go faster. The center lines are the longest so move to the outer lines to prevent bottle necking.

The lawn can and will be muddy with rain even if it s not raining day of show so this is something to keep in mind if it s been raining a lot.

The sound is ok and quite loud. Not so loud on the lawn. Don t expect to see a close up of the stage if on the lawn. You can see, but you aren t close. They do have 2 large screens on each side of the front of the lawn.

They need screens down front on the sides of the stage where they have signs for advertising.

I never pay extra for vip parking, I don t feel it s worth it, personal choice.

There is limited tail gating allowed if that s your thing.

Overall this is a nice venue. I attend 5-8 times per year and they continue to upgrade but most of those upgrades are for vip and party type decks as upcharges and add ons.

They should have a family friendly nonsmoking lawn area for those that are in need of that.

It s nice that they get a handle on moshing and surfing for hard rock shows. If you surf, this isn t that type of venu and I m happy about that.

The reason for only 3 stars is high alcohol and food costs, lack of direction exiting the parking lot, and inconsistency during bad weather.

This is a good venue for big music events like festivals. There's a lot of space to move around and it's nice to be outside. However, if you're there to see one or two acts, sitting on the lawn is a waste because you are so far away.

Great seats all around! Mostly okayish food, though the BBQ and Mac n cheese was excellent, diverse drink variety (craft beer, liquor, wine) although you will pay a pretty penny. If you'd like, they do allow tailgating and you can drink your BYOB out in parking lot before the show. Great venue.

Evidently Ruoff thought selling 16oz beers for $10 compared to 24oz @ 13 .25 is what consumers wanted REALLY? Figure it out . Customers are spending more on the 16oz per the oz than the 24
I was told that wanted 16oz since the 24oz got warm

No Ruoff you got GREEDY. Offer options. I personally pace myself but when an entire show goes by on the main act & I can't have a beverage with music (really goes hand n hand ) its poor businesses

Last night Kenny Chesneys music was too loud, and his vocals were too soft. Not good sound for that show!! He was great tho. Bathrooms are efficient, getting a drink is fine, but leaving there is a freaking nightmare.

Went to see The Who for my first visit here. Visibility from the lawn isn t the greatest and the screens cutout quite a few times, I would still return if there was another band I wanted to see though.

First time here and will return.

Black Sabbath Aug 18, 2013 Had a 3.5 hr ride from Lansing, Michigan. Brought the cooler and propane grill for pre game activity, which proved to be handy for the post show festivities. Free lot is gravel drive with grass parking. Inside, security was friendly and yes, drinks were pricey, but good variety and size options. Mid show potty break was a 5 minute wait at the men's room. WTF, that's a whole song. Was in the back rows of the pavilion and sound was exceptional. Post show exit strategy is to be desired. At least an hour wait, def longer, so I cranked the music, cooked more brats and drank a few more while the cars slowly trickled out. Show end at 10:15, i was the last car out at midnight. No biggie, as I didn't have to work the next day, which was Monday.
My local venue DTE Energy music theater in Clarkston, Michigan is very similar. Differences are 1) once at your car DTE post show, you're out of the lot and headed home in 5-10 minutes. 2) Klipsch lot is a free for all tailgate. Security in the free lot is non existent until after the show. DTE security is abundant and you must drink out of plastic cups in the lot. That is understandable though.
The amphitheater's location helped bring a diverse group of enthusiasts together from different states to tail gate next to each other, which include Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky and of course Indiana. We had a blast.
Notable mention. The group parked next to us, lost a member for over an hour and security drove around and found him. Hilarious. He was sitting at the amphitheater exit crying thinking they abandoned him. Good times.

Event was run amazingly well. Clean seats, easy entry, and parking was hard to spot getting in, but was very efficient when getting out. Handled the rain delay very well also. Concessions are insane though. $8 for a drink and $16 for a cheeseburger. Also they need a pit in the front instead of all chairs, it kind of killed the vibe for the concert.

Attended the Jason Aldean High Noon Concert May 19th. Went to my seats which were center section F Row M seats 11-12 Birds Defecated all over that section. I told the attendant in that section.
She said he is working his way back to that section.
I watched him walk away put his towel away and not attend to his job.
40 min later we finally get our seats cleaned some of the workers wearing gloves others not. I told them about diseases that they can get from it.
And the towels were so disgusting they weren't really cleaning it but smearing it all around.
This place needs to get its Management team together. It wasn't worth the 230$ face value of what my experience was.

(Full disclosure, I attended with a VIP pass, so your experience may vary) Went to see "Adventures of Kesha and Macklemore". Facility was very clean. Staff was polite and helpful. There was well organized assistance with parking and finding our seats. The venue itself was easy to navigate quickly. There was a wide variety of food and drink available (Mac & Cheese, corn dogs, grill food, ice cream, wine bar, regular bar, etc). A free water fill-up station was also available near the concessions area. Audio quality was amazingly clear. Loved the venue and would love to go back for another show.

Went to see Ozzy Osbourne, exceptional as usual, lines moved pretty efficiently entering. Lines for merchandise was a bit slow, but understanding since most people couldn't see what they wanted till they get to the front. Beverage lines moved pretty good. Overall experience was great! Heck of a show as usual! Wouldn't expect anything less from Ozzy!

You can eat, drink, and catch a rock show. Plenty of room so you don't feel clostraphobic, if you don't mind being in the back far from the stage. Audio was clear, although a little on the quiet side on the lawn, in my opinion. Would be nice if the jumbo TVs were larger. All in all, a real cool place to see a show.

I've been to dozens of different music venues and this one is by far my least favorite. Lines are terrible. Wait times to leave the parking lot are too long. Concession prices are some of the highest I've seen. Sightlines are awful from the lawn (note: I've never viewed from the pavilion, so take that for what it's worth).

Bathroom facilities are decent though (at least from a cleanliness perspective; lines are still terrible).

My rating would be higher with a VIP ticket that provides access to private bathrooms and exclusive bar areas, or tickets in the pavilion. But the overall General Admission experience is definitely subpar compared to the average music venue.
