KKL Luzern Review

I was at the Bligg concert. There was no more wheelchair space and nobody (or wanted to?) Could tell why. ,

We do our company meeting here every year and it's great!!!

Very amazing and sofisticated ambiance, a very good festival, and an incredible orchestra!

The atmosphere at the Casino Royale performance with live music was just awesome. The orchestra took them into the atmosphere of the film.

Even though we stumbled in there initially just to take shelter from the rain we had a good time. The Art museum was definitely worth a visit. It had some interesting exhibits indeed. The cafe on the 4th floor offered good views.

The Kaffe has a beautiful view of the lake and a good selection of snacks to stop hunger pangs such as wraps, salads, but also sweet things such as flans, cakes and biscuits.

Extra-ordinary architectural achievement and wonderful musical program.

Kkl Luzern is always worth a visit to enjoy a good concert. Eg "Manhattantransver"

Another impressive landmark of the city of Lucerne. In addition to an impressive architecture, the space in front of it invites you to linger and you can take advantage of numerous catering options. A parking garage is directly under the KKL and the pier is right next to it and you can board the ships.

A huge ceiling spans a lot of area. It's beautiful and very modern looking. A lot of good natured locals around enjoying the lake and its beauty.

We were already allowed to enjoy some concerts in the KKL. Every time we sat in the floor in the rows 5 - 10 and can only recommend these seats. The acoustics are phenomenal and the view from these places on the ensemble is terrific. From the roof terrace you have a good view over the harbor to the casino, the Hotel National and Montana. In summer you can also watch the goings-on in front of the KKL. The catering in the breaks is adequate and the prices are ok. If you want a bit more variety of snacks or sandwiches, you can of course quickly take a refreshment at Lucerne train station. The Coop can be reached within 5 minutes. The location on the lake is unique and the connection to public transport perfect!

Cool building by world renowned Architect and firm of Jean Nouvel. Seems like multiple buildings and spaces all contained under one awesome roof.

Great acoustics in the big concert hall. Also for people who are not very interested in classical music an experience. Again and again there are film screenings, which are accompanied by the orchestra.

Booked a concert for a friend's birthday - with cancellation insurance. Turned out she couldn't make it that day, so we asked to reschedule. Neither the day we booked, nor the two days either side of it that we wanted to reschedule to, where fully booked up; there was plenty of empty seats. But they aren't allowing any rescheduling, even with the insurance, which in hindsight only covers an extremely small number of circumstances, and requires a doctor's note. I can't see how that's acceptable, or how it could make any sense. There is no reason whatsoever that the tickets couldn't be rescheduled to the next or previous days. The tickets were fairly pricey and this is just terrible service.

Total imposing and impressive building. Always come here for a short stay!

My time in lucerne was amazing. I went there because i was hiking in the alps and lucerne was the ladt station. It was very hard and there were many rogue cows and eagles and birds and such animals but i didnt need to fear as i was in safe hands with the swiss cuisine. All of the food tasted to delicious and good. I like a dish where there were noodles with meat and aple mash. Tasted feliciously good and i just cant describe the taste of itm anyway back to lucerne. Its a very rich but tourosty area i found many chinese people who make foto of everything even broken bottle on the floor
That always reminds me of chinese rap but thats good because it makes me funny feeling ha ha ha ha ha ok back to lucerne. Ita very expenaive so bring many moneys as i only brought 20 euro i could only afford a coke and then nearly all of my monry was gone so yes its an expensove placed but what did you expect if you book a flight there? Oh and just for your information i sodnt fly to lucernw but i tool a long train ride using the t g v in france and from moilhouse to some crazy place where 1 burger without anything cost 15 euro but this was my review i hope you like it and you can find yourself in the hopes and dreams of James Lucerne.

Good and interesting events, definitely something for everyone! Buy tickets early enough, because tickets sell out quickly.

Quality and centrally located congress center. Easily accessible right next to the station.

Architecturally top, organization / friendliness flop:
The concert hall is acoustically wonderful and has given the concert the absolutely right framework. The entire building is structurally interesting and well thought out. The lighting is set perfectly.
The employees spoiled my expensive experience (CHF 100 for 3rd place class) a bit. My ticket was never checked properly, I did not receive a program for my online ticket. The lady on the 3rd balcony turns me on unfriendly because of my (size-tested) backpack and becomes snippy on my contradiction, upset about it with other concert guests ("In the past, backpacks were not allowed!"). The three break signals came within 5 minutes, the good lady did not reply to me when I left. The concert took 20 minutes longer than published, which is why many had to rush to the train. The wardrobe worked well for me. I do not want to rate the concert itself, because it is not influenced by the KKL.
Conclusion: A great location, but unfortunately poorly organized. Hence 3 stars.

KKL is really nice and enjoyable but I am glad that the awards will take place again in Zurich.
