Greenville favorite. The cheeseburger salad is out of this world, and everyone is always extremely friendly...we have never ever had less than stellar service.

I ve been here on two separate occasions - lunch and dinner. I ordered the tomato pie for lunch and holy smokes that was delish! The side salad that came with it was lacking in finesse but it tasted good. A few weeks later my husband and I came for dinner. He ordered the burger which he promptly inhaled. I ordered the scampi which was a bit biting in flavor. I understood from the description that this wasn t going to be the shrimp scampi my Nona makes but hey I figured I d give it a shot. My suggestions are to tone down the lime and cilantro. The chili added delicious heat but it was all lost upon the added acidity of the lime which then heightened the soapiness of the cilantro. Just my two cents!
Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. Great beer (one of a few places with an oyster stout on tap!). Need i say more?
Really poor wait staff experience
Decent food
We went for lunch, had the fried beets with aioli, catfish tacos and banh mi sandwich. Everything tasted really good, and we were planning on coming back regularly.
However, about an hour after we ate both of our stomachs started to bother us. I'm not usually sensitive to any food, but I really felt bad. The fries had a lot of oil on them, and so did the chips, almost like they weren't drained, so maybe it was just too much or the kind of oil they used? I don't know, but I would be hesitant to go again.
May give it another shot in the future because the food was good like I said, but threw away my leftovers and won't be back for a while.
Despite reservation we had to wait about 30 minutes for our place & the food was not too special. We had hoped for more
Happy Hour 4pm-6pm Tues- Sat. $3 House Wine, $4 Draft, $3 Domestic Beer!
The service was good. The food was enjoyable. If you go there you should try the crispy tofu.
The chicken sandwich....was the best I have had....I could eat one in a parking lot of a Chick-fil-A while watching it burn to the ground with a smile on my face and a song in my heart.....the end....
Food was delicious. I had the Carolina Catfish. Will continue to dine there.
Great atmosphere.
Highly recommend!!!
Food way great. It is a bit pricey, but not over what you would expect for the high quality.
Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, fair prices, great service, and excellent food! Their mission is also something we once to take a part in. Overall a wonderful dining experience. We will certainly make this one of our go-to restaurants.
First time there...liked everything about it.... atmosphere, service, menu, food and cobbler....
Had dinner with friends. Enjoyed the evening very much.
Great customer service and food was good. No complaints. Definitely check it out
Great quality food and superb customer service! Terrific atmosphere!!!
Ate here for dinner while visiting Greenville. The food was well worth the wait. Each dish was fantastic!
Catfish, collard greens, and grits were pure southern.
We went here with some friends and very happy with the service and food. The parking lot fills up quick so you may have to park in the lot next door. I do recommend making reservations as it stays busy. Just a little advice on dessert, if you get the cookie and milk just know that the milk comes in a glass that doesn't let you dip your cookie in the milk.
The atmosphere is nice, the staff very kind. The service was great. The food was just so so.... nothing bad but nothing to write home about.
Goodness Grapejuice that was delightful!!! The chicken sandwich was so good that it turned me on a little. The service was incredible! Our server was knowledgeable and super helpful. Shout-out to Anthony! And dem linens doe!!! It felt like I was wiping my face with a cloud.
This is my favorite restaurant in Greenville even though we have hundreds of them. I love that they re certified green, their food is tasty, healthy, and for anybody who loves beets they have the best beets ever. I also especially love the Nudie . Spelling? And you can t go wrong with their daily pizza.
One of my favorite low-key but fresh dinner spots in Greenville. The "daily bread" is always a delicious surprise, so be sure to order that when you go!
Im an ol'timer so it really wasn't my kind of place but everyone at the table enjoyed it
What an amazing atmosphere, great food, friendly service. If you have not been to Kitchen Sync you need to do yourself the favor. If you have been there I am sure you look forward to your next visit. I personally enjoy the daily toast and a beer.
I will start by saying that McKenzie was perhaps the best server I've met in years! She is super skilled and has turned her work into an art form. Everyone in our group of six loved their food. Portions were perfect and extremely delicious. However, I knocked off one star because it is extremely noisy inside. So loud, in fact, that it was hard for all of us to hear each other. Six people is too many. Four would be okay ... or sit outside where it might be a bit quieter. Would I go again? YES! But I would limit it to us and one other couple.
I have wanted to try this place for a while, wife kept telling me about it. I opened a breakfast restaurant around the corner recently and was working late so I decided to have my wife meet me here. INCREDIBLE. We tried just about every app and they were awesome. Glad they don't serve breakfast! We'd be in trouble. Lol Good job Kitchen Sync. Come see me around the corner at Eggs Up
Good food. Love their pizza. I definitely will be coming back.
Our table had two appetizers, three enters and dessert and all were absolutely delicious!
I went a few weeks ago and I LOVED the food. I usually review restaurants to support our local businesses but this place is so good and different. The pork chop and the Mac n cheese was soooooo good. The environment was great and the staff was very friendly. But that pork chop...
Great happy hour, the service is excellent. Get there right at 5 if you want a seat for happy hour, as the place fills up quickly
Food was great and they handled or large group like pros!
Unreal, have been there so many times several times a week sometimes for lunch always great. Tonight I walk in and was told 45 mins I don t have a reservation / what when did this start empty seats all around the couple in front of us got seated with no questions, I m confused.
We arrived right at opening for supper. We had a party of 8 and were seated immediately. We had 2 baby s and weren t seated in the back. I loved that! Our wait staff were extremely accommodating and professional. Our food came out in a timely manner and it was phenomenal. I had the veggie Mac and cheese. I m in love with it. My mother in law didn t necessarily like what she ordered and they were quick to suggest another option. I loved seeing the manager and/or owner being so hands on on every step of the process. He wiped down tables and checked food. They are definitely running this place right. The decor was nice. Atmosphere was laid back and this is definitely somewhere I would come back to. Even as an out of state customer.
One of the better restaurants in Greenville. Great happy hour. Fantastic, friendly service.
This is hands down the best restaurant in Greenville. The food and service have been consistently excellent. If the tomato pie is in season, get it. The burger is seasoned so well, no ketchup needed. Don't even get me started on their pork chops! Even the desserts are great. Best of all.... This place is extremely clean, green, and affordable.
Highly recommended!
Great food. Definitely add this to your places to go list
In one meal, Kitchen Sync became one of my favorite spots in all of Greenville. The food was different, varied, fresh and delicious. Service was quick and atmosphere was inviting and cool.
Food: first, I heard their menu may rotate around depending on season, so your menu may differ. Regardless, I highly recommend their Crackling Chicken Thighs and roasted vegetables Mac and cheese. Mine was delicious with perfectly cooked boneless thighs and crispy skin. My SO had the Scampi which she devoured as well. For desert, our table split the peach cobbler and smores cake, with the s'mores cake, caramel ice cream and marshmallow being the perfect combination of sweets. We loved all of our food.
Service: our waitress Malorie (sp?) was great and attentive, always seeming to come ask us something at the right time. Overall sit down-to-eating time was shorter too.
Overall, it was great and we look forward to going again!
Exceptional food and quite hefty portions! I got the daily popover (which is like an incredibly tasty mini rolled-up pizza cup), with chicken and a daily topping of a tzatziki sauce. It wasn't large on it's own, but 2as very filling. It came with a side salad, and I wasn't expecting too much, but the salad was like a full-sized fresh arugula salad with feta cheese and an italian/ranch dressing that paired perfectly with it. I'd highly recommend it, just ask for the daily popover. The rest of my family got the chicken sandwich, tacos, and the Bahn Mi (don't know if I'm spelling that right) sandwich, which was huge. I tried part of it, and though it was a little heavy on cilantro, it was savory, sweet and spicy. Very good meal
Excellent food --- freshest salad I have ever had and great service.
Kitchen Sync is one of our favorite local restaurants. The food is absolutely delicious and the pricing is more than fair. My wife and I love their Tomato Pie & Shrimp Burger (pictured). Give Kitchen Sync a try and I m sure you ll be glad you did!
My husband and I stopped by for lunch today. The atmosphere was excellent and so was the food. This will become a regular spot for us.
Kitchen Sync is a tasty delight. Fresh and healthy for lunch or dinner
Great farm to table menu and tasty food. Nice napkins too. My only complaint it that it's very loud and hard to have a conversation.
I've been here three times and they were not bad and last night was the not good. I was torn on a couple of things and the waiter recommended the shrimp burger out of my choices and it was awful. There was very little sauce on it and the shrimp lacked any flavor. Very over priced for the food and definitely not worth it even knowing they use fresh local ingredients. The menu has changed from last time I went and it definitely doesnt have as good of selection as last time. The only safe bet last night would have been a pizza. Unless they change the menu I will not he back.
Amazing food! Awesome "green" restaurant. Service is greay!
Love this place! Locally sourced food with a creative menu!
Nice eclectic fare. Something for everyone. All that our large party sampled was perfection. From roasted beets and flash fried kale for starters to steak, shrimp burger, Thai inspired salad and good old American burger for entrees everything delighted!
Tried dinner here for the first time and I have to say I'm very impressed. The wait was long at around 40 minutes but it was worth it. We had the local bread, pork chops, and the surf and turf. All items were exceptional, especially the vegetable hash! The atmosphere is also very nice and cozy especially if you get a spot in the front of the building near the road.
Overall I highly recommend it and will be back !
My manager mentioned he gave it a shot and gave a positive review, so we checked it out. We waited for 30 minutes for a table which was not terrible - it just means all the cool kids go there. It's also very small, so with everyone talking and it gets loud. Definitely not a deterrent, but something to think about. Let me just say, we LOVED the food. The menu is diverse and the quality of the food and flavors are incredible. We sat at their "chefs table" so we got to see every dish as it was being prepared and put in the window. We got a good idea of the favorites on the menu. The waitstaff was incredibly friendly and they knew the menu very well. All in all, it was a very positive experience and we are looking forward to visiting again.
I would give more stars if it were possible. Fabulous food and excellent service.
Just awsome, great experience from start to finish, even the hostess with the British accent was great....
I love the shrimp burgers, the scampi and salads. Kitchen sync is a great place to take the family and prices are reasonable.
Went to lunch yesterday. Got there early (11:30) and got a table immediately. Our small group had the Banh Mi Salad, the Banh Mi sandwich and the Super Green pizza. All were very good and the service was excellent, however once restaurant was full for lunch we could not hear each other at all. Very frustrated. Will try again if it stays warm enough to eat on the back patio. Would not go again if I knew we would have to eat inside. Not sure what they could do to decrease or buffer the sound. Very sad as this could be a really great "little neighborhood" place.
Cannot praise this place enough. Service, ambiance, and FOOD! This cobbler is a bit on the sweet side, but it's soooo worth it, so good. Their burger shows you how simplicity always wins - beautiful, juicy patty, fresh vegetables and yummy home made pickles, amazing! Honestly I ate way too much, and I'm in a food comma, but how could I be self disciplined when everything tastes to gooood?! Ugh! Too good!
We love Kitchen Sync! Can t wait for them to reopen after COVID! Also, maybe expand into the space next door? It s always such a long wait to get in!
Great vibe, friendly staff, and really tasty food! Got three Happy Hour menu specials: Pizza of the day, Fried tofu, and Sriracha-Honey Chicken. All were excellent dishes with unique flavors. The pizza was the highlight, will have to go back sometime for a full-size pizza!
Absolutely delicious. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and decided to try something new. We definitely made the right choice. All fresh ingredients and delicious flavor combinations made for an incredible meal. We certainly will be coming back very soon.
Really nice Twist on a pizza place. Amazing menu options that are different if you're tired of eating the same thing all the time. Badass desserts really cool drink menu. Caroline is always super helpful.
They have a policy of not seating anyone until your entire party arrives. Lost
my business...
We went here on our anniversary trip, and it was AMAZING! Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu, the sources for the menu items, and the restaurant in general!
We had the friend chicken sandwich and the Bahn Mi, which were both the best sandwiches we have ever eaten. I will be driving back to Greenville just for that sandwich!
Most of the southern style food was good but a bit pricey..the one tomato sauce dish was not good
Ate here for lunch. The food & drinks were delicious and our sever Mick was great! Will be back for dinner.
3 words!!! FRESH, FRESH & FRESH!! Outstanding!!!!
It was a full house for lunch on a Saturday but I sat quickly at the bar. My drinks and food were served promptly with great service. I loved the catfish salad and berry cobbler.
Great food. Fun atmosphere. Excellent place for a Christmas party.
This is a wonderful restaurant. We had an appetizer called Beets by K. It was sliced of warm beets with s crust and a spicy sauce to dip. Wonderful! Both of us had the shrimp scampi and we ate l of down to the last noodle! Thsnks to Ryan as he was an excellent waiter that knew exactly when to stop by our table.
Great food, great service! Will definitely return to this place!
Porkchop was worse I have had.
Service was great.
Cozy, comfy and yummy. Loved the Bloody Mary, toast n burger.
Not what I was expecting. Fried kale. Never would have thought anyone could make kale taste like candy, but they did. Very good.
