Food was Great and not too expensive.
Not the most welcoming staff and waitress.

personal Im not going back, even if the food was good my experience was a little too uncomfortable.

It was my fist time going, the waitress seen to think of her self too important for her position and too annoyed and to a point irritated with my question about the food, at the end I was so hungry I didn't want to drive to another place, so I eat quick and left.
Again food was great definitely worth what I spend but not the best time.

Great place for a quick lunch or dinner. Staff is nice tomato soup is good. Nothing better on a cold day.

Fish and chips are fabulous, I like the cod version..

Good food. Good at stealing your card info too.
EDIT: apparently, card got stolen and used there. Issue resolved and Kip's is handing over security tapes to police. They've been an amazing help and is changing the entire situation

Food was good. Service needs to be better. We had no silverware, order was not correct, and waiter was slow.

Meet at Kips for business often and I love the food and service.

The corn beef was amazing. My wife is an incredible cook but the corn beef was the best I've ever had. Service was fast and friendly.

We enjoyed brunch here. Not crowded. Quiet enough that my 88yo father-in-law could hear w his hearing aid. Nice.

Nice atmosphere and great food. Had the butternut squash ravioli and the flavors in the dish were perfect.

I was in Ireland and when you step into the place, it is like stepping into an Ireland pub. Good food. You won't be disappointed eating there.

Amazing place for Irish beer lovers. They have an excellent happy hour, and the service is really really good. The waitress was very kind with us!

Good food and pleasant atmosphere, note that the breakfast buffet ends right at noon on Sunday so no brunch for you!

Edit: 2nd time here on 2/1/19. No where near the experience. My sister ordered the chili lime chicken salad and it had one piece of tiny chicken. We asked them to look at it and they said it's on the bottom, we looked and the was nothing. They brought us chicken without asking and then charged us. Not accommodating in any way to the 12 people we had and the server just didn't want to be there. Super disappointing after a great experience.

Fish and chips was delicious, as was the Shepard's pie. House speciality drinks were undrinkable. Tried both the two ginger and the pear martini. Martini was so strong that it burned my mouth even in small sips and lacked any pear taste. Rather potent taste of cinnamon and the burn of hard liquor. Tasted like a combo of vodka and fireball. The two ginger was like a flavorless, alcoholic sparkling water. Service was ok. All in all food was great with good portions but drinks were awful and service was nothing to write home about .

Excellent lunch specials, I recommend the Cod for only $9. Good beer choices but service at the bar is very slow so get a table.

Right next to the Marriott Hotel, can get breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks here. Nice outdoor patio when it is a little warm. Friendly staff. Two happy hour times means you can eat and drink for a little money. Pub onion rings are hugs and a deal during happy hour. As it is an Irish pub, tried some colcannon and it was authentic. Pickle chips were disappointing. Breakfast prices cater to the Marriott clientele and are more than expected. Fun place to come to and relax.

Cannot recommend enough - there s a reason this place is always packed. Good service, amazing food.

Bartender (from Ireland) pours a proper Guinness pint! Food was pretty good, I had the shepherds pie, which I felt needed a bit more seasoning all around.

My favorite is the boxty (Irish potato pancakes). Good place for happy hour.

Thanksgiving dinner was excellent. Love the ambiance of this place.

Went here with a friend and came for lunch. I got the corn beef sandwich and my friend got corn beef and cabbage. First, onions are not a good flavor with corn beef in my opinion so I ask for it with out. There was also a very coarse mustard what basically consisted of mustard seed, whole ones and not much of anything else, but when the food came after about 45 minutes, and the restaurant was empty mind you, it had onions on it. I commented to our waitress who was rather rude about it 'um, okay, can you just pick them off' is not something that you say to a customer, especially when it's your mistake for not remembering. So she brought it back. Really fast and it's obvious that they just picked off the onions and put it back together, the mustard as bad as it was, was only on half of the sandwich, and the bread was soggy by the time i had the chance to eat it. <br/><br/>It was a poor experience which I hope to never relive, next time I feel like irish fare, I'm going to check out Coopers. <br/><br/>Had the waitress not been so painfully difficult and rude to deal with, i might consider going again at dinner. <br/><br/>But really, give anyplace a second shot. Yeah in a perfect world, they would have their a-game every day. But if you got and it sucks twice in a row? That's a poor business and management situation. Unhappy workers simply don't make great restaurants, they can be ok but I'm unimpressed and never going back. If you eat here for some reason, I hope you have a better experience.
Just read how inconsistent the ratings are, in the restaurant business, if you are not consistent, you lose business.

Sadly I have lived .5 miles from this bar/restaurant for over 9 years and never have I had a good visit. Service is always so/so. Now I go only because of convenience and am told I don't get happy hour pricing because they sat me in the wrong spot...
yet no one was in the place. When they had an opportunity to fix it they chose not to and left such a bad impression on me to finally leave this review. Be smarter! You have neighborhoods around you that would take advantage of your business IF you could service them better. Maybe I'll try you again in another 2 years. Sad because you had the possibility of having me and my family every weekend.

So, the food is good on 2 sepparate occasions. But I mean come on man, five bucks for a small glass of orange juice? I came back because I am staying at the hotel. If you are the type that doesnt want a server to come by your table, at all, unless you track them down, then this is your kind of place. Most of the staff are impolite and avoid having to look at you in case they might have to lift a finger. They just stand around and talk to each other. Wont be coming back.

Staff was ok, food was ok, not sure how others gave 4 or 5 stars. I imagine the room service in the hotel is comparable in quality and price.

Most restaurants seem to be slowing down by 8PM on a Tuesday night, but Kip's was still busy. They may do a movie special, so if you bring in your ticket stub then you get a discount of sorts. It was a short wait for three of us to sit at the bar. The bartender was great. She was friendly and attentive. We only had the pretzels, but they were fantastic.

Great traditional Irish foods. It's hard to find and you feel as though you are going the wrong way. Worth going, I will be back for the shepherd's pie.

Its a good Irish pub with some American dishes too. A good cocktail is also a plus

Guinness Braised Beef Short Ribs, enough said on that :) I live in the Shelard neighborhood and this is always a short walk and perfect weekend spot at nearly any time for a bite to eat. Aside from the short ribs, the Irish Spring rolls are amazing! If you're looking for a great cocktail the Dubliner Cider is perfect for any meal on the menu.

Give it 4 stars as a bar, 3 stars as a restaurant. Great space with a nice selection of whiskeys and bourbons. Had the walleye fish and chips which wee bit greasy and without much taste. Wait staff was pleasant and service was good.

It s a fake Irish pub with great food - so good I have eaten there every week for the last three years... and sporadically before that. Service is typically good to excellent. It s so dependable that I take my customers there. I don t know of a single bad thing on the menu. Notice the map of Ireland on the ceiling in the bar area.

Googled restaurants near my work to meet my family while I was on lunch break. The menu says the sliders are $8.00 and I get the bill and they charged $18.00 for three tiny sliders. the Manager said It s not their problem that google didn t have the correct prices didn t apologize or offer to reduce the price. Terrible customer service. We will never come back even though its right next to my work.

The food and beer here are a treat. Some tasty Irish menu items. It has a wood interior so it feels warm. Friends of mine gather here and talk and the place fits that scene well. Wish they had a band playing Irish music more often as the space fits that type of event really well. Never would expect it all by looking at the outside of the restaurant. In some ways that is a very good thing as when there are too many people one might have a harder time listening to each like the more populated restaurants. We enjoy this restaurant/pub a lot!

Unfortunately, I didn't find much Irish about this pub. The reuben sandwich was a little less corned beef than I'd like it to be. The Irish Honey Lemon Tea (alcoholic) was on a point though.

Service was horrible. Host looked at the two of us made eye contact and walked away to talk to the bartender. When he did come over to seat us we were asked to wait he had to go look over seating. The restaurant was not even quarter full when finally seated it was 10 minutes until a server showed. Staff seems really disinterested. Food was good. We wont be back

Great service, good food. Great entertainment. I've gone here every year for probably the last 5 St. Patrick Days. They always have great entertainment with The Tim Malloys. And for an extremely busy holiday, get everyone service and food in a very reasonable time frame.

I really enjoyed their dishes. I always get awesome customer service here. The place is always clean and the cashiers are always very welcoming. Would recommend to others.

Came for Irish coffees, wow! Talk about delicious! The barkeep made them to order, they were exactly how I like them, and he even had fresh coffee for my second one. Great conversation too. Fun stop.
