We were seated right away but no one came to take our order. No one greeted us or offered drinks. We tried several times to wave down someone but everyone avoided eye contact. So after 30 minutes of sitting without anyone other than the initial contact we left. It was incredibly disappointing and frustrating.

I had the Irish spring rolls and a cucumber cooler. Food was amazing! The live musician was skilled and entertaining. It's a casual setting with an upscale feel. I will definitely be coming back!

Twice I've been to their establishment and twice I've been heavily disappointed in the service there. The food is mediocre at best and overpriced in my opinion. But both times I went our server was slow and uncoordinated. She forgot our silverware both times and had to be asked for our tab multiple times. I personally watched the manager sit at the bar watching TV instead of doing anything with the patrons despite having all the opportunity to talk to his customer base about hope to improve the restaurant.. The menu hardly represents traditional Irish food to top it off. They have a limited beer selection and very dismal whisky collection which for an IRISH pub they should not be lacking in those areas. Every Irish pub I've been to had had flights of whisky, Kip's had none. If you ask me the only thing that keeps Kip's alive is the fact that it's attached to a hotel so the parents and business people can come in and drink until they can barely walk than stumble back to their rooms after drinking overpriced beverages and eating overpriced appetizers.

Classic Irish pub vibe. Great drafts, pretty good prices. Good service. I've eaten there a few times and it was always good. Not "blow you away" good; but I was never disappointed. It's a pub. Go have a pint!

Stopped in after a long day of traveling. Thought I would give the Sheppard's pie a try. Wow! Delicious!! Next time I'm in town will try to stop in again. The bartender took great care of all of us who we're snowed in. A rough day for everyone that ended on a comforting note.

I got the fish and chips and it was the best I ever had! Not greasy and melt in your mouth. Service was great and prices are reasonable. We also got the Bailey's creme brulee dessert and it was also very good. I highly recommend!

We ended up going to Kip's for a seminar. We ordered the fillet steak. Not expecting much, since it was a free meal, we were pleasantly surprised when it came out medium rare cooked perfectly, a large delicious filet with real mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables and a mushroom sauce to die for. So impressed!! Everyone who worked there was very friendly also A+ for Kip's.

I stayed here recently and had the opportunity to spend some time with at Kip's Irish Pub. Autumn was an amazing Bartender! Super friendly, knowledgeable and just made the whole experience memorable. I'd come back 5o Minnesota for that alone.

Kips has a great atmosphere, service and food. We always get the fish and chips which are amazing but their other dishes are great as well. Patio is a nice option for seating. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Service is quick. We return often when in the mood for fish and chips.

This place is my preferred one. I eat in plenty of restaurants but here I constantly return again and again. The crew is very welcoming and the cooking they serve is so tasty. I am always happy to have a good dinner here. Highly recommended.

Went there for breakfast on St Paddy's day, and I appreciated being able to get a beer with it, since I had just gotten off a night shift and it was dinner time for me. The food was ok, but they just had the standard hotel breakfast buffet fare. The atmosphere was worth putting up with the food, though.

Love this place! This place is within walking distance from my apartment and it's fun to meet up there with friends to watch games, eat food and get drinks! Always had excellent service! Food and drinks are always excellent and prices are reasonable! Have been there for brunch, but mostly for dinner or apps/drinks and have loved every time!

Pretty fun place to go with friends, but really expensive. I ended up paying out over $30 for two beers and a plate of fish and chips. However, our server was really, really helpful and very patient with out large group. In fact, when our meals took too long, the management threw in some complimentary desserts. I thought very highly of that!

P.s. the beers are served European style! This means that they are slightly under room temperature, no frosted glasses or anything. Great for actually tasting your beer. This is a turn-on for some, and a no-go for others.

We had our wedding reception in one of their private rooms and the staff and management did a FANTASTIC job! They were very accommodating and friendly and worked with us extensively to make the experience perfect. Will definitely go there for "normal" times too based on the above. Thanks Kips!!

They messed up the reservation for my rehearsal dinner and then still made my father-in-law pay fo the drink tickets. They tried to shove the 25 adults into a space meant for 15. They had a party of 50 in the room I reserved back in November and must have shuffled us to the small room because a bigger reservation came along.
We ended up going to COOPER in the West End, which was awesome! They were super friendly and accomdating!!

We called ahead and ordered our food tonight. Nick a server that was working tonight took our order of 2 items. We then call again to add one more thing to our order Before hanging up with Nick we asked if he got everything which was only 3 things total. He said yes they will be ready, we get there and find out Nick lied and only put 2 of our 3 orders in and then when we asked the bartender about it that was wokring we see Nick leave to go hide in the kitchen. The bartender then tells us she had no idea and will go check .She comes back with 2 of our 3 orders doesn't acknowledge me or that Nick lied and didn't put our order in until I flag her down to ask what she had found out.. which she then says sorry kitchen is closed and he didn't put your order so we can't get out food. Nick did not come back out the rest night and female bartender was rude and only acknowledge us again when we asked for our tab. This is the 2nd times something like this has happened at this place. Do better Kip's, I gave 1 star because google makes me otherwise I would give this place 0 and Nick be better at your job and don't lie to customers!!

Is a comfortable place with a good atmosphere. People are personable and it's nice to meet people from all over the country that are staying at the hotel. I live very close to the establishment so I go here often. The brunch is not worth the money in my opinion. They just don't have the volume needed to consistently turn the dishes over resulting in the food sitting for a longer period of time. Order brunch ala carte. They have a good happy hour regarding discounts on appetizers. Service is typically slower as they do not seem to be in a hurry to get to you. Sit at the bar for faster service.

The food was absolutely fantastic. We went on a Friday night and there was live music that was kind of loud and made it hard to hear conversation. The place is more upscale than I had envisioned an Irish pub to be. Our server was very inattentive - I had to ask the host for water and flag or server down to ask for mayo a second time.

We had the Angus burger and fish and chips, also got the pub pretzels which were eaten faster than I could take a picture of them - they were so delicious.

One of our new favorites. Some of the best wings we've tasted, although the burgers are difficult to handle due to their size...and I have very large hands. Looks more like a small cake lol.

Lovely restaurant with a nice variety. A few vegetarian options, so I can feel good taking all of my friends here. Love the decor. Weekday lunch staff was terrific! The three of us each tried a different dish and all thought it was great. We'll be back!

Attended Kip's for a customer appreciation get together for another company that I do business with. Appetizers and drinks were served. The food was good, the drink service was very good. The atmosphere seemed good. This was the first time that I had been here and the get together was not one that would lend itself to a more complete evaluation. I would try Kip's again if I end up in that part of the cities.

Went there because... Well... Look at my name. I was not disappointed. The pretzels are great - not too tough, not too chewy. The corned beef was super tender and nice. My coworker got the filet and was impressed with the cooking. Little pricey though - neither of us got alcohol and both spent about $40.
