Kip's is a bar/restaurant connected to the hotel. It has a nice, low key atmosphere. It's a great place for big groups, like birthday parties. They dont charge room rental & have good food.

The food here was high quality and tasty. I really enjoyed the corned beef and cabbage. While the service wasn't always the faster (it was busy!), it was friendly and the servers were really sweet with the children.

What a blast! Went to Kip's cuz our fav Irish band The Tim Malloys were playing at the "Halfway to St. Patrick's party. Outdoors on the awesome patio we had a great meal and excellent cocktails. The shepherds pie was filling and delicious as was the walleye. Fish and chips and a steak dinner were enjoyed by our group and both heartily endorsed although the steak was closer to rare than medium rare as requested. Beautiful hotel with very attentive wait staff. But the music was the must hear event at that place. Planning to come back for St. Patrick's day!!

Always excellent service and quality food. I especially love lunches here during the winter, as the sun is pouring in the tall, south-facing windows. The feeling then is cozy and relaxing.

We gathered here with a large (11 person) group to celebrate a birthday. The fish and chips were very good (Friday during Lent). The main problem we had was that we were seated very close to the musician. He was good, but the music was cranked up WAY too loud for sitting that close, and we had to practically shout to hear each other. On the positive side, we were given 3 free desserts to compensate for the fact that our table took a few minutes to be ready (despite having a reservation). The desserts were delicious!!
I'd come again, but definitely ask to be farther from any live music.

Kip's has always been one of our favorite restaurants. The Shepherd's Pie is fantastic. But if you get a burger, be warned, the "house pickles" are loaded with jalapenos. If you don't like spicy, make them take it off. It doesn't say anything anywhere about it and our waitress didn't say a word.

Had a decent experience in the past, though recently I was placed on a waiting list with friends for an estimated 45 minutes. We arrive at around the 40 minute mark and are told they are no longer serving food and we should go to Champs or order pizza. I've never had this happen to me. hope I am the only one and this is some type of fluke.

Very good food, everything I tasted was well seasoned. Not your typical low quality pub food... Somebody clearly cared about what they were cooking. I would go back I. A heart beat. 5 stars for a pub, 4 stars for restaurants at large

The BEST fish and chips as well as the best pretzel and beer cheese I've had in the Twin Cities. I get the same at every pub and Kip's has the best. Better than Brits pub by far. I've brought family and friends here and they all agree.

Definitely what other people have said--happy hour is "ok" at best, as the overall experience is much more catered to the certain clientele of the guests that stay at the hotel. I feel like if Kip's is going to market their happy hour to bring in a broader crowd they'll have to overhaul the happy hour experience--especially the draft beer menu where $12 mixed beer drinks are right next to the happy hour specials.

Nice space, friendly staff and easy parking but a total miss on the food and drink. I didn't order any Irish dishes so maybe that's where they shine. The drinks were very weak. Go for a beer I guess. If the food matters to you I would go a short way down the road to the BLVD.

Okay food. It was a slow night but it still took a while to even order our food. My friend and I each got a Turkey burger with fries (each asked for without onions). Meals arrived, both burgers with onions and both with no fries! We had to ask for them. This was my second time visiting and I don't think I'll be back.
