King's Dominion-Cedar Fair Entertainment Company Review

Went to Kings Dominion Winter Fest with my family. It was a beautiful experience

I was there in April so they weren't in full operation but almost everything other than the water park was open and had a great time.

Kings Dominion is so fun go on Halloween and during the summers bet times to go

Halloween haunt was better last year, it's definitely not what it used to be. They did an amazing job with details however in the walkthroughs. They slowed down the intimidator for sure. If you can't ride a roller coaster with such speed, don't ruin it for those who are thrill seekers by complaining.

Awesome theme park. Water park too. I purchased a 2 day pass for my family while on vacation in Virginia. (I m from NYC) It was about 15 of us and we all had fun.

Went on a day where the company bought out the park for the day. Awesome rides with none of the usual lines.

Feels like there are more restaurants than things to ride on. The waterpark is way at the back of the park (not fun when you're pregnant and it's 101 degrees). You only get to go around the lazy river ONCE. Defeats the purpose of the lazy river imo. I've never been told to get out the and water after one go round. Lol. The monster truck thing they have going on is awesome for the kids. My son loved it. Ashame that it's only temporary. Obviously we'll continue to go back, since we're season pass holders and it's our closest theme park. Oh and they charge for a wheelchair even though you can prove that you're disabled. Most other parks do this too, I just don't agree with it.

Excellent amusement park. Well laid out, fun rides, a great experience all around.

I ve been several time and had a ball! It s a lot of walking because the rides are spaced out so make sure you wear some walking shoes!

Great for the family and church trip. If you have children or family members with children 3yrs-5yrs old, they can get a free season pass for the remaining of 2018 and into all of 2019.

went to Joy fest over the weekend. Great music good time. Way too hot for this event to be held outside. For the prices charged for admission and a concert it was ridiculous to have people falling out like flies. Need a new venue for this great occasion. Really not well planned at all. I will not attend again until maybe in the fall before closing or Christmas time for the lights.

Attended opening day. the lines were a little bit longer because of the great weather. Some of the rides were not available on the first day. Outside that it was excellent time with my three kids.

Nice park always a great time however it's infested with bees all over the park . They should consider treating this matter because it could be very dangerous.

We live in TN and have been to parks all over the US and this park in top 3 in our book. We love the thrill rides here. The 6 hour drive is worth it to us to visit the great park.

Wait was average 20 min when I went but really nice place for most ages

Amazing time as always. The weather allowed for a fun time. It was not extremely hot at all. Park seems so much smaller since now I am an adult but still had fun on all the memorable rides. An the food is always amazing. Especially when it was time to go and I picked up a funnel cake with cookies and ice cream. The lady working the window was amazing and my funnel cake was the icing on a great trip. Will definitely be coming back.

Great experience all around, I definitely recommend trying to go during the week. There are a lot less people there.

i love the intimidator and dominator and droptower i would recomend this place alot but the food service is meh which means it takes 2 hours to get food

Wonderful day the staff are major friendly and my son who is three for the first time today got to be a care free boy and enjoy is day with his family I will be back next saturday with my family thankyou for you contribution and beautiful fireworks show and hoapitality we spent a little over six hours in the park and enjoyed every minute of it

It can be fun, but there's no real wow factor anymore. The food prices are what I'd imagine to be market rate (pricey) but didn't look very appetizing. Heard many complaints of dry chicken tenders and such.

The rides were cool, lines weren't bad, except for Twisted Timbers. The Dominator and Intimidator are the best rides.

That place is so much fun. If you go there you will love it.

Rides are good food too expensive I have a gold pass and cant even use the season pass entrance they have that open for a certain amount of days and close it and they only open it again if the lines are backed way up. Lines are very long at times. Some rides run one coaster making the wait even longer. But coasters overall are good wish they had a season pass holder day

UPDATE: Just know I won t be renewing here again. KD makes way too much money to be charging for everything now. You use to could bring your bags on the rides and set them in the bins, now they make you go get a locker. They try and force you to pay for something you really don t need. It has gone downhill.

I love this place cuz I get to ride on the intimidator 305 and this place is awesome I also love the boat and delirium here is me eating the turkey at kd that means:kings dominion

Lame. Dirty - the smells were horrible. Way over priced for the low quality environment.

We love kings Dominion! I have been visiting my entire life. Since I was a kid and now that I have children of my own. Never had a bad experience at Kings Dominion the waterpark is awesome in the summer we had a great time at the Winterfest this Christmas it was absolutely beautiful we love the Halloween scary houses during the fall and it's always our first mark on our list first spring break we usually get season passes every year never disappointed so if you have a family of your own or if you just like to ride rides and have a good time definitely check into getting season passes is well worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone

Love it! Waterpark and Amusement Park were great, loved them both times I went there!

I love this place. I love most the roller coasters. I wish they replace the volcano since it's never opened anymore. Snoopy land looks great for young children. There is something to do for everyone

very clean park. The staff was very friendly. I have zero complaints

It was more organized than my last visit. There were quite a few things closed, including the Eiffel Tower. My daughter and I still had fun

This is one of the best amusment parks in america! They have some great coasters like intimadator 305, dominator, volcano, and many more! Theres so much to do for the family as well and its a great place to just come and visit for a day and have some fun!

This park has unfortunately gone down hill. One factor that certainly stirs me away is the cleanliness of the park. There's litter, filled trash bins, unkept property, and an overall awful smell to the park. The rides have depleted in effects, along with many losing quality. The Dinosaurs Alive, which is a separate fee, is also not fixed up at all, with many dinosaurs having tears and rips.

It was a great day. We were there for roller coasters competition. We got to spend the day at the park.

Great place for family fun! The water park and amusement park in one place is fabulous! Just be prepared to not be refunded if you get rained out.

Can be very hot go when the sun isnt beaming down on you .

Went to this park for Kingsfest. With a little early and had A-blast at the park itself. I wish King's Dominion was closer to my home.

Went for Halloween Haunt. Great time with Fam. Seemed really rushed in mazes, live shows were great. Suppose only real complaint is pricing soon as you enter from tickets and everything else. Also experienced some rude customer service at a few different dining locations.

Went there for the first time this summer had a great time and at night when the lights came on the park looked really nice

My two daughters and my 3 yr old granddaughter and myself could not ride on rides together trying to make memories. I'm sick. Certain rights they turned down my granddaughter because of just height but then they allowed her to ride on some other rides. Some rides were not operating at all. If the parent is with her and know for sure she can handle the ride than why should it be a problem. Alot of places to eat were close and I purchase two eating passes, thank God I didn't do three but we needed three couldn't afford three but to buy food the price are extremely high.

Fun place to go Get the dinner plan on your season pass and you really don't have to bring money

Not as fun as it used to be. Mostly everything is closed and prices keep going up.

The rides were amazing and it was a super fun family and friends bonding time.

There were a lot of people smoking in non-smoking areas to include the Pizza restaurant in apple Grove!

Went to the Winterfest with family and it was really fun! Bought discounted tickets online so the price per person was less than half the normal ticket price. The downside to this was there were only a few rides running. But the characters around the park and all the lights made up for this minor shortcoming. Everyone had a great time!

When the rides work, they're great. Halloween event was super crowded. Lines were about 1.5 hours to simply go through a very basic haunted house. Scare zones were very cool though.

Pretty good place to go, staff is hit or miss pin friendliness and helpfulness, but still a fun place to go to. I haven't been to soak city yet.

Love this place very spacious a lot to do rides ara A+ food is okay but expensive you will have a great time trust me

Rained the whole time I was there. Didn t get on any rides because they were all closed down didn t give a ticket for a later day.

Rides and attractions and great, best ride for thrills is intimidator 305 a must ride.Food and games r very pricey if u r looking to eat and play games at park.

I go every year! I've been to KD ever sense I was about 2 months old. I honestly think they should put different rides in. Maybe even take out dinosaur alive.

I had ball we took my granddaughter for her Birthday it nice I have be in min.

Grewt value, water park plenty of roller coasters I've been coming here since 1980 it's one of my favorite amusement parks on the East Coast

I love this place it is so worth the money you have no idea my favorite ride is the CRYPT

Great place excellent staff I cant wait go back waiting until the kids went back to school was great no lines no wait had a chance to really enjoy all the rides

I feel really nostalgic about this place, but to be honest, the excitement that surrounds the experience has lessened as of late. It seems like every employee of the park hates their lives, (except the entertainers, naturally) and that causes each segment of the entire experience falter in their value. When I focus on my children and not let the staff's unwillingness to show emotion or empathy get to me, I have a good time. The rides are fun, (when they're open), the food isnt bad, (but is depreciated by the ridiculous prices), the memorabilia is exciting, (yet seemingly unchanged in the past few years and again, over priced), and the park is clean, (although last time we saw a skunk on international street, which is off putting to say the least). We'll continue to visit because of my children, but only because of the few options available to Virginians for theme parks.

Awesome park. Love the rides and the fact that there are rides for the younger kids ages 3 to 4. Food is a bit pricey but it's a theme park so that is no surprise. I have an annual pass and have been here at least 4 times this year and once or twice last year. You can save a lot of money just going to the park with a packed lunch

Good amusement park mad we still had to pay for stuff like the race car track for the kids that should be included in the price of admission arcade games are fun but you need to bring at least 2 to $300 with you because they are expensive food is expensive as well
