Excellent place for kids, teens, and adults. Lots of thrilling rides... Go to Twisted Timbers it will flip your brain. Two thumbs up!

We enjoyed ourselves....I just wish stuff wasn't so expensive.
Me personally I DON'T do rollercoasters, but my kids do and they luv them. I recommend you wear a good pairof walking shoes.
Went for the Haunted stuff on a Sunday, was really fun even for an adult.
I had a great time at the park. Got 2 stars because I was told to put my glasses away on every single ride multiple times before getting on. I could get off a ride and walk around and get right back on and still be told the same stuff multiple times by the same people. It was very annoying.
Bees EVERYWHERE. I go to Busch Gardens very often, and just returned from a trip to Florida where there were no insects to really speak of. Kings Dominion however is infested with bees to the point that a 2 year old boy in line behind us for Snoopy's Rocket got stung on his finger. The park itself was okay, but the employees do not seem motivated at all. Lines took a lot longer than necessary because of lack of energy. One of the rides (which I will not describe for protection of the employee) seemed to really need a break and seemed to be calling to request one because he did not feel well. He was doing his job, however I don't feel like it was his best due to not feeling well. Kings Dominion is a little over 20 minutes from us, though we still will not be going back. Very glad we got in for free.
Not enough signage, never know where you're going! Lots of shops closed on Labor Day, which was quite annoying.
Love KD, we have had season passes with my family and have enjoyed the water park and rides many years. The new Winterfest addition was not my favorite, I am sure they will improve every year. But comparing Christmas lights, decorations and shows with Christmas Town at Busch Garden definitely Busch Garden still at the top. One thing I liked at KD Winterfest was the Ice skating rink.
I used to go all the time as a kid and teen. It was exciting sharing this experience with my kids. There were no lines. My only issue was the price of food. It's more than Disney World.
What's not to love about rollercoasters? The park was great. Amazingly clean considering the volume of people. All of the staff we interacted with was pleasant and helpful. Be prepared to spend as food, snacks, and souvenirs are pretty pricey. I think the average meal price is close to 15 bucks just to give you an idea.
Never got my pictures To my email.as promised. No small sunscreen availible but advertised in the shop ,they said they were out and I ask if they had it it the other shops they said they are all the same. Had to buy the $$ larger size that I did not need $$ . Why even advertise the smaller size?. Fast track tickets were limited as to witch rides $$ ..food and drinks places were limited as well. $$ . NO free Ice cream . With the free food options . Disappointed in the park as a hole. The rides were fun .
Lines weren't bad and they moved fairly quick. Was worth the money
Awesome time! Such a perfect day with Ma'Lady and 2 buds.
Nice place for family I recommend bring water with you because it is expensive
Lots of fun with a great variety of coasters and attractions! Go for seasonal events!
The teenagers love this park! There are plenty of activities for all ages here. The food can be a bit pricey. If you are a season pass holder, I encourage you to consider a meal plan. Just after a rain is the best time to visit.
It was a blast! There's rollercoasters and bumper cars, the drop tower, and more! It's great fun for everyone. Plus, remember to bring a swimsuit and towels for the waterpark "Surf City".
Interestingly Subway here doesn't have $5 foot longs, here they are $15... They only sell 6" inch subs and they are $7.50 each so you have to buy two.
It's nice to find such a family place that attracts children but at the same time is financially responsible for the parents LOL.
We always pack our lunch and eat in the parking lot
Have Cedar Fair season passes and decided to try Kings Dominion for a weekend. Very disappointed in the experience. Rides were continuously closed or temporary closed due to maintenance failures. Staff not properly trained, lines for food were excessively long wait and were not long with people, easy to see employees didn't care on trying to get the line moving.
Love it love it love it!! My family and I have season passes every year and we have a ball every time
Kings Dominion is so much fun, Lots of great attractions and great food. Food can be kind of overpriced, fortunately there's a Burger King Right across the street. They have an awesome water park and even camp sites and cabins you can rent.
The wait times for rides was possibly the most enjoyable part of this park. It was easy to do pretty much everything all in one afternoon. I would say some of the rides were a bit lackluster as far as thrill factor goes and some were downright painful to ride on due to constraints or ride design. Food is extremely overpriced and if you're going on an off day (ie not a weekend) the options for food are also very limited. Overall it was a pleasant experience as a day trip.
The rides are SOOOO MUCH FUN!! There is something for everyone, my family got the season passes because we live close to it and it makes the experience way better!
if you live somewhat close to this and it's still a pretty good experience for the money. However if you have to make a several hour drive to get there I can't say that I still recommended. After Paramount sold this place it lost a lot of the character that made it seem special
Not what it used to be, some very rude and unhappy staff with very unruly costomers
Great park. Lines are a little long for a nonbusy day. Need to run more than one car.
Awesome rides, felt like the park could use a little more cleanliness though.
Winterfest was amazing. Just walking through and looking at they lights was breathtaking.
Excellent day, low attendance therefore no lines for any rides. Food outlets are helpful with allergies. Reasonable trip for a family.
Food is WAY over priced. The front entrance is beautiful. Short lines. Decent rides.
Awesome place to go & have fun all day but bring a lunch with you or go to the burger king outside the park because the food inside is a little pricey
Always a fun time at Kings Dominion. I'm a lover of roller coasters and the water park is always nice on those hot summer days. They also have a tap house now which is really nice. Nothing like sipping a beer or some wine while walking around the park and seeing what they have to offer. The park is pretty clean too and their staff is friendly. One time I left my phone at a concession stand by mistake and the staff was nice enough to hold on to it for me till I got back to retrieve it.
I love Kings Dominion. Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful.
Awesome! The entire family had a blast and we will be back asap...Twisted Timbers is so fun we rode it 3 times...SOOOO much better than Busch Gardens (we got bored there and left by 3pm) and much less money...the water park was refreshing and fun too
Going here for 30 years. Great lark but needs a new theme. Paramount was a great experience!
One of the greatest theme parks I have been to. The water rides are a lot of fun and pricing is not over priced like most parks.
Love coming here. I have a season pass. Lines move quickly.
Rides, rides, and more rides! I lost my phone on a Rollercoaster. The staff went looking for it after the park closed. Even though they never found it, I'm super grateful for their efforts. They were patient with me and very empathetic. I can't wait to go back again!
We enjoyed Kings Dominion. We haven't been here in about 10 years and they have really changed their park. It was kid friendly, lots of food options, lots of rides that were fun for both adults and children. We were pleasantly surprised at how much the park has changed! The people working here were nice and polite and the park was very clean. We are excited to use our yearly passes here!
Kings dominion is great this year I got to spend it with some of my family members, having a wonderful time together.sorry some of them didn't get to come.but better luck next year!!!!!
The new roller coaster is awesome! And that was the highlight. Every thing else was just okay. Long lines, rude employees. The water park was a mess. Not enough employees to open all the slides apparently but plenty of life gaurds standing around goofing off & ignoring the patrons.
This park is way past its prime.
Drive a little further & go to Busch Gardens.
I've been going here since I was a kid and everytime I go back I'm more impressed
Not my favorite amusement park. Theres a few big roller coasters but you spend more time in the lines than anything. There are more rides than coasters this park. My favorite thing is their Haunt they do for Halloween, really the only time I visit this park. But the food is good.
Nice park especially if you like rollercoasters. Hit the
Great amusement park. Well organized. I would go early so you can avoid some of the long lines. Food options could be a bit better, but that is not why you are there any ways. All in all you will have a lot of fun .
$33 dollar ticket was perfect. $15 bucks to park was absurd but washed it down with the worst $5 lemonade ever. Just know memories cost money here. An some rides are not included in the ticket price. Very misleading when you think your getting a deal.
First week of july was supposed to be fireworks. No announcements of where and when they were going to happen. Website claims bigger and better fireworks show too. 5 mins show from the KD KOA campsites and the finale was one of the smallest single fireworks the let off. Huge disappointment !!!.
Me and my wife had a blast. 305 was one of the best rides. The food is okay but not the best.
It was fun but i am sore from Ridin the coasters for the first time in my life
I305 is awesome! Great park and we'll worth the trip from IN!
Poor customer service, not enough help, workers don't care, gold pass does not get you in first, most coasters we wanted to ride closed all day, waste is money for the fast pass for 3 of us.
An amusement park for all ages. It's fun and has many different events. It's got something for everyone
So much fun wish there was more place with shade though!
Fun place, a little pricey 20 for parking but if you have the gold season pass its free, you also het a discount on food and souvenirs. Only thing that sucks are the lines, but to be expected, but as long as you have the express pass you bypass the long lines, one note there are some staffs on certain storws that can be rude, but to be expected, also, you can bring your own water bottles, if you have no bags only one lane to enter other than that youll have to wait in line, also, if you have a dog theres a dog kennel area for them. Overall great place to visit if you dont mind the lines.
Always a good time and as usual always long lines haha but they seem to move quickly . Definitely not too bad on the older rides, didn't even try the new one the wait was over 2 hours.
So much fun, it is a lot of walking so I definitely recommend going on cooler days of possible
LOVE KD! Every year, my family (6 of us) debates if we should renew our passes or choose a different park. Every year, we go back to KD because it is (by far) the best park for the money.
Great park. Not too crowded. Fun rides for all ages
I haven't been in a long time and was pleasantly surprised to find lots of improvement. The entry in really nice now, and the rides are pretty good. The Grand Carivale shows were excellent. Only gave 4 stars because the food selections are super limited for special dietary needs.
Very fun rides for kids, youth, and adults. Same with Soak City. Lines are long depending on the time and date you come.Bathrooms were okay some stalls are better than other. Food is VERY expensive bring your own unless you want to pay $4 for water. Overall great experience had fun .
This was a very special weekend. Celebrated my daughter graduation, my wedding anniversary and father's day
Awsome place any female want to ride wit me I be on flight of fear soon
Changed a lot don't know if its necessarily in a good way still a great family place to go but kings dominion has work to do
Fantastic amusement park! Some of the best coasters around! Will definitely be back soon!
