Wait times were minimal. Park was very clean. Food selection is a little iffy if you're looking for healthier options, but it's an amusement park. Ride variety was very good. This is a nice park.

Very fun and exciting place. Love going there with my family always have a great time. They don't have as many small kids roses though soot makes my youngest siblings quote upset. Recommendation is to add some small not to scary for smaller kids so they can enjoy their time or a big playground area for them.

Halloween Haunt is spooky and fun. You have to know what you are getting into, not great for little children or people who scare easily. Everything is over-priced but that is part of game when you go to theme parks!

We had GOLD SEASON PASSES which gave us free parking and unlimited visits to the park. The wife and I enjoyed each and every visit we took to the park. We may be on the back side of 40 but we were like 2 kids all over again!

Lines were long, which we expected. The problem was that they shut down all of the rides at one point or another. I feel like we wasted our money. Employees walked around like they hated their jobs. Sad... I used to love this place

Terrible place to work, I worked here back in 2013 maybe it's changed since then.

The mangers are such jerks (most of the mangers were teenagers one of them was 16! and early 20s but one of them which I'll get to in a sec.) And the people I worked with were from Russia including the mangers they always gave me this kind of glare like me being there was pissing them off. I can't describe the look really, it's kind of like pure hatred.
I remember one of the mangers yanked a cup of water out my hand when the other manger told me I should stay hydrated because i was working outside in the heat cleaning up after the mess people made...

I hope he got fired and I hope he's never a manger again I wish I remembered his name because I would report him post his first and last name here on Facebook and report him to Kings Dominion but he's probably not there anymore.

I remember being made fun of by some of the female mangers too, they made fun of the way I walked and how facial expression looked. one of them stepped on my foot without even saying excuse me.

Not making this stuff up....doesn't sound as bad now that I type it.

But if you want to work here if it's still like it was 3 years ago which it probably is, I would just be careful.

We are long time customers of the park; usually visit at least once a year. But after our trip this summer I don't think we will return.

Early in the day we purchased a refillable souvenir cup for $15 since it was so hot out and we wanted to have a cup to carry around. Shortly later we grabbed a bite for lunch and got our first and only refill. After eating we picked up our trash and walked it around the corner to throw away, leaving the cup and our hats / sunglasses on the table. When we returned seconds later the cup had vanished and there was a girl in park uniform sweeping up the area. We asked her if she had accident picked it up and she rudely replied that it wasn't her job to watch everyone's stuff without actually answering the question.

We inquired inside the restaurant if anyone had cleaned the table on accident but had no luck. I explained that I had just paid for the cup less than an hour earlier and clearly one of their employees had accidentally tossed it while cleaning. I had the receipt for the cup, the credit card that matched the receipt, and an id to match the card. Shouldn't be a problem to replace right? Wrong.

The restaurant explained they couldn't replace the cup but down the road their supervisor at a seperate location could. So we walked there but had no luck either. They explained that all cups were replaced at some restaurant at the front of the park so there we go. This restaurant says that we needed to get it from the zone where we bought it and they call ahead to verify it will be replaced when we get there. But sure enough when we get there we need to go to customer service back at the front. We spent well over 2 hours of hour day being shuttled across a park for a refund or replacement to a cup that likely costs the company less than a dollar.

When arriving at guest relations at the front the man helping informed us that they do no replace "lost or stolen" merchandise. I questioned how it could possibly be considered either of these when their own employee clearly just accidentally mistook it for trash and explained how frustrated we were for being sent back and forth across the park, wasting our day on the promise a replacement we were not going to get.

The man apologized nicely and said they don't usually help in these situations but he was willing to do something special for us to make our day better. He offered to walk to lost and found for us and pick up an old bottle that had been left the day before and give us that one as a replacement... Not really understanding I agreed and sure enough he disappeared for 10 minutes and came back with an old used bottle that formally belonged to some random stranger... He assured us he washed it in a sink for us. The straw was chewed to shreads. It was the most disgusting and unsanitary solution I have ever seen. I couldn't believe that was actually a solution they thought was ok.

We ended up just taking the bottle and tossing it and giving up. This company was so willing to save itself a dollar on a replacement bottle that it thought it was ok to just give out previously used cup...

I have worked several retail and food jobs in my life and it was always my companies standard to just replace items in cases like these because it was more important for the customer to have a good day versus save a buck. We clearly were not trying to steal a cup from the company. We had the receipt and we were more than respectful to all the employees we spoke to. We walked back and forth across the park based on a promise of a replacement, wasting a large part of our day only to receive a dirty used replacement.
Insane.

The park is clean, nice. Short lines. However - customer service is very lacking. Food service is a joke...no customer service and painfully slow. The food quality is poor and it's expensive. They need to step up their customer service game big time.

Haunt is awesome and one of our yearly pilgrimages. I'm not sure if the kids or adults have more fun. We secretly have discussed going without the kids just once so we could enjoy what we want to do. With our season passes this is now a reality! That and the fact we are only minutes away is what makes this even better! Suggest you allow plenty of time to explore this park especially if it's prime summer season. As for Haunt you can usually hit it all in one night if you plan it out and avoid the rides.

Great place to spend the day with kids. The attractions appear to be run by teenagers; speed and efficiency does not seem to be the priority. The place is huge with roller coasters and rides for young kids and bigger rides for the fearless. Three stars for the ride operations -- particularly the waterslides.

This venue offered so many great rides. Very exciting to go there with my wife. I had never been on roller coasters and for my first time we went on every one in the park. It made me realize how much I was missing out by not going to these thrill parks.

If I could give 0 stars I would. As a first time customer, I honestly can say that it will be my last. I am a veteran, excited that this park honored a military discount come to find out that I could only get the "military rate 0f 29.99 online and that the military rate at the door was 49.99. I purchased my tickets online and uploaded my documents as requested in order to get the discount. Parking was 10.00 for the day. No biggie. My family and I arrive at the park, go through parking smoothly. Everything was going well. The lady who scanned us in was friendly and told us to "enjoy the park". I had purchased a cabana for 85.00 along with our tickets so we headed to the waterpark section and once we get to the stand where we get the cabana rental there were three young teenagers who were extremely rude and told me that I rented the cabana for the next day not the same day. I questioned as it didn't make sense. Why would I purchase a cabana 24 hours after my arrival to the park. I NEEDED THE CABANA THEN. They told me there were no refunds or partial refunds and that I would only have the cabana for an hour and a half because the water park section closed at 8:00pm. I said ok, that would be fine. they were hesitant to give me the rental keys but after I basically begged they said ok. It was hot and I wanted to sit while my daughter went swimming. They laughed and chuckled as we walked off. I could go on and on why this day went horrible but lets just say the customer service was beyond HORRIBLE, the prices for food and drinks were horrible. 45.00 for a 16 inch pizza? 13.00 for a funnel cake? 9.00 for a medium drink the size of a shot glass? Its ridiculous. The bathrooms smelled and were gross. The people there have no courtesy and don't really care to make your visit pleasant. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK. I couldnt even enjoy myself because I went broke while there on top of the rude and Nasty workers. It was a horrendous experience.

Me my family and my friends went to the park with all the water clothes n excitement about the water section but to our disappointment whole water section was closed without any notification on the website. We asked one of the staff members there for the reason and we were told that they were short staffed.I think these kind of changes should be posted online so people can change their planz accordingly. We were so embarrassed in front of our friends who were visiting for the first time but now are not excited to come back again.

Review of the haunt 2019

Review of the haunt 2019
Busch gardens tops them by many miles. Felt like they lacked actors. They should have more scare zones in the park along with alcohol varieties. More entertainment shows would do them some good as well.

The park was nice and i had a good time but a lot of the employees seem like they hate working there. They dont greet you or smile. Very rude. It was a few nice friendly employees but retrain your employees on customer service next time i will go back to Bushe Gardens. First impressions means last impressions.

It was a hot day and I was the designated bag holder while the kids enjoyed the water park. They had fun and I hid from the sun under an umbrella table. So thankful for the Italian ice place nearby. All in all, a successful day at the park.

Went there on a school field trip, wasnt impressed to say the least. Over half of the rides were closed if not all day then mostly all day. The lines were so loooonnnggg for the ones that were open that we waisted most of the day waiting in line or walking to non functioning but staffed rides. The food and gift shops were unreasonably expensive and not a single staff member stood out to me as going above and beyond in their job. Was planning another weekend trip for my family over the summer but think ill try somewhere else.

I've been coming here for years and every time it's a blast! The only thing I would say that needs improvement is the food and beverage, especially the Winterfest. The hot cocoa came out too watery and only lukewarm. Other than that, this place gives your family wonderful experiences and memories!

Very disappointed by poor customer service. Family decided to visit due to an email noting we had registered our pre-k child for a free admission. Upon arriving at the park we were told we are not registered despite literally showing the manager at guest services the email which states we had registered for the 2019 (current season). We were told there repeatedly we must be wrong and that we had done something wrong. With zero help or options provided by staff we had to pay gate admission price for our child.

Perhaps staff should be trained on how to appropriately handle issues such as this where the guest email evidence to the contrary of what they are saying. And I would understand if they acknowledged that they couldn't do anything to correct the computer error and suggest we reach out to another representative. But to basically call the person paying you money stupid and the turn around and walk away when asked for their name is pitiful.
