Took my Cervelo for a service. Not even a brand they carry. Did not matter. They were SO polite, friendly and took care of me right away. In one minute my bike was on the stand, Ayal and Gavin were giving it the once over, while I drank coffee. Old fashioned charm and caring! - well worth supporting this store!

My KindHuman Krest has been seeing a lot of miles, so it was time for a new chain this morning. Friendly, fast & top-notch quality service as always. These guys and their bikes are so amazing I've turned over my bike collection, which is now Kampione, Krest and Springbok (for commuting and cyclocross) - each of which puts a smile on my face as I head out for a ride!

Great customer service. I had two services at this location and service always seems to find the problem, fix quickly and affordably. Although I moved to Richmond Hill, this is the only bike shop I will be dealing with.

Love these guys. Ayal and Gavin are warm, genuine, and very well informed. The shop has everything you could need for biking around the city or anywhere else for that matter.

I have been riding for years and have not been able to find a shop that takes a genuine interest in their customers quite like Kind Human.

Their house brand Kind Human frames are out of this world and have me consitently admiring them when I come into the shop.

It is Very refreshing to find a bike shop that really cares about their customers. Ayal and Gavin work hard and it's obvious that they love what they do. This quality is reflected in their work. Kind Human is the perfect name for this charming shop.

Try them out, you won't be disappointed.

Great people to work with. Both my Kudu and Kampionne are my favorite bikes I have ridden. I can call at any point and actually speak to the owners about any questions I have when purchasing my bikes.

Just rode my new Kampionne (Ultegra kit) for the first time and everything about this bike is perfect. Climbing, high speed downhill, bumps, turns, flats. It is such a well balanced machine. Quiet, smooth and solid and has major kick when you stand up. Gavin and Ayal at the shop put up with me for 2 months before I committed and every time I came into the store to ask more questions, they gave their time willingly. It's been such a huge deal for me to take a chance on something that was not made by Specialized. I could not be happier with the entire Kindhuman experience. They clearly make a very high end bicycle but their knowledge and customer care make the purchase personal and exceptional. I may never own a new Porsche Boxster S but now at least I get to pedal one.

Ayal is the best bike technician I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot over the years. I had to have a bike fixed quickly because I had to leave for a tour. Another store's mechanic wanted to change a component and Ayal quickly determined it only needed an adjustment. And he identified other components that needed attention. The bike is in fantastic condition now and ready for my tour.

This is now my go-to bike shop.

A fantastic bike shop, with fantastic people. I met two of the owners, Gavin and Ayal, when I visited from Vancouver this week. The Kindhuman story is a great one... They're a bike company that cares about more than just building high quality bikes. Definitely check them out, and get to know what they're all about!

Great service and advice from Ayal and Gavin at the shop. They sell both their own design and branded bikes, as well as Cannondale. Good selection of clothing and accessories. The workshop is top notch, working on tune-ups to complete builds. Support the cycling community. Buy local!

Popped in for a handlebar stem. Gavin and his colleague were incredibly helpful and sorted me out with what I needed in no time at all. Lovely shop, looks to be on point. Will use again. If you want friendly personal service from a business that appears to actually care about what it does, come here.

This is why I like to shop at a good retail store instead of online.
There is no way I would have figured out on my own how to install and properly adjust my new bike trainer.
Ayal did a superb job and Gavin matched the online price.
Excellent service!

I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Kindhuman. I took my old road bike there for a service and was blown away by the care and attention to detail shown, so much so that I sought some advice on a potential second bike purchase. Unlike other stores, there was no sales pressure, no trying to upsell me to the most expensive thing in the store (as I am sure everyone has experienced elsewhere!!) and they genuinely wanted to educate me about the differences in their bikes, the different levels of components I could add and why certain frame geometry would be a better fit for me. Needless to say, after walking away educated and going to a couple of other stores where the usual sales tactics ensued, I went straight back to Kindhuman and pulled the trigger on a new purchase.

I am incredibly fortunate to live relatively close to this store, but it would be worth the drive from anywhere! First class service, matched by the Company ethos and first class products they sell. Bigger name cycle companies seem to cut corners, cut componentry and frame quality while seeking to bump up the bottom line. Kindhuman are the opposite, keeping components in their full groupsets. Better still, they genuinely care about the sport of cycling by donating proceeds of each bike sold to get more people onto bikes and sponsoring young up and coming riders.

Keep up the great work guys!!

I went in not only for a bike fit, but also for a tune-up. Due to a couple of changes with cleat placement and stem, my bike is working better than when I first bought it, brand-new. I had a unique/uncommon piece of equipment that I couldn't figure out how to mount on the frame - they did a good job mounting it.

I've been a very happy customer of the KindHuman Pro Shop since its Avenue Road store opened in 2013. Awesome and friendly service from Gavin & Ayal. Ayal is the best mechanic I've seen in my 10+ years in cycling. When my race bike decided to jump off my roof rack and I was in need of a new bike, I did not hesitate to get a KH Kampionne, and I absolutely love it. It looks great (a very important attribute) and it fits me perfectly.

Personable service that creates a solution based approach based on your requirements. I did a fair bit of research on the various bike technologies and found them to offer a quality bike, great technology, quality parts, all at a more reasonable price than others. I would qualify them as a quality shop that is highly engaged in great technology and still understands that many of their clients need guidance. I was impressed and will refer them to others.

I used to train and race in triathlons (and coach people who competed in the Ironman) and in 1988 was fitted for, and purchased, a custom Julian Edwins bicycle. I have been riding this bike, on and off, for 28 years. It s heavy, has friction/downtube shifters and a six (yes I said six) speed straight block.

Recently I was speaking with a friend of mine, who has been in the Triathlon/bike industry for 30 years. He suggested that I speak with the guys at Kind Human. I then spent some time on their website and was impressed with their product/marketing/corporate philosophy. I called and spoke directly with Gavin and he spent some time on the phone with me discussing Kind Human s products and philosophy. He set up a meeting for me with Ayal, their Technical Leader.

Ayal and I met at their Avenue Road store at 10am on a Friday morning. He was incredibly patient with me and my questions (which of course were based on my old school knowledge of bike technology) and slowly walked me through the differences between my bike and the newer technology of today. He took the time to switch my pedals to one of their bikes and also fit me for, and switched out, a handlebar stem so I could take one of their bikes for a test ride. We were together for over two and half hours and I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and ability to communicate the new bike technology and provide me with the points of differentiation between Kind Human s bikes and others.

I am VERY much looking forward to working with Gavin and Ayal and learning more about Kind Human.
