TERRIBLE BUSINESS! OUR REP WILL SAY ANYTHING TO MAKE A SALE! STAY AWAY!! We ordered a 6 bottles of compound and our rep said it would be $86 dollars for all 6. I told her to go ahead and order it and after waiting for 3 weeks I finally got the order delivered. Along with the invoice in it. THE INVOICE WAS FOR OVER $500 Dollars. I had contacted my rep and she responded a couple days later saying she was sick. Then she said she would get back with me ASAP. 3 weeks later she finally contacts me back and says we cant return it. I called their accounting department and nobody would return me calls. THIS IS A TERRIBLE WAY TO DO BUSINESS!! After reading the other reviews it sounds like I'm not the only one. BUYER BEWRE

Absolutely horrible service they lie about their guarantees wont respond to emails I will never buy another tool or anything else from these guys spend a $1000 in 1 week 2 days later the tool breaks and they refused to make contact with me it's sad I had to come to this but the best way to do it is to let others know with word of mouth spend your money somewhere else

Absolute massive selection of tools and parts. If you know what you're looking for this is the place to go to. Even if you can browse, you'll always walk out with stuff you didn't know you needed. The company itself is great and they go to great lengths to make sure they take care of their employees. It's kind of surreal to see companies that do this anymore. Great place

The salesman begged us to buy a wheel lock breaker kit. I explained that after 25 in the business, there is no such thing that could withstand an impact wrench. I have personally broken, stripped, and exploded at least 10 different types and explained that is why I didn't want it. He said I promise it won't break and he also promised t I stand behind it if it ever did. It stripped out the first time we tried it and that was November 20th. He has made himself impossible to find and although he stopped in once to see if we needed anything, once he found out we wanted our refund he was gone like the wind. He reminded me of a used car salesman trying to make a commission. This guy has made the company look shady and I want my 224.23 back. It's January 19th for crying out loud. I'm a small business and this is unacceptable. On the invoice the salesman is Nail #6YE . Well my name is Ron Speir and I'm pretty disgusted with this bum.

Kimball Midwest sent our company a drill set that ...

Kimball Midwest sent our company a drill set that we did not order. Our receptionist unknowingly signed for the package. Days later we received the invoice. Thankfully the drill was never used and we were available to call Kimball and request a return label but time was taken out of our schedule to do so and get the package returned. Our company is small enough to catch the mistake but a larger company might not be.

Salesman come into my shop that clearly says no soliciting and are way to pushy also they refuse to leave when we tell them they are too expensive they are wasting my time and money by going out and talking to my mechanics after I already told them I wasn t interested

DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR PRODUCTS! Our shop had purchased a bolt bin that our sales rep had indicated would be filled on a regular basis and stocked with the items we needed. The rep was in here daily until we purchased the product and we have not seen him since!! After several attempts to call our appointed representative, no returned calls, has not stopped back by...we have asked that they remove it as it has not been useful to us as not stocked or kept up as indicated! Of course we still have yet to hear from them but did send us a collections letter!!! Be very weary and do not give in to their over extensive sales pressure, they are not worth it at all!!!

Price gouging is there #1 motive.

I just found out how much they have been charging for cup brushes $51! I buy the same quality at my local store for around $16.00. 4 1/2 inch cut off wheels with the arbor is running us $14 at kimball. Locally I can get the same quality for around $2.49. I will not be placing any more orders with the sales rep.

WE HAD A SALESMAN COME INTO OUR SHOP TO DEMONSTRATE PRODUCT LINE. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH A COUPLE ITEMS SO WE MADE A PURCHASE. ONE OF THE ITEMS WERE A SET OF DRILL BITS THAT WERE NOTHING LESS THAN AMAZING WHEN DEMONSTRATED. ONCE I HAD THE CHANCE TO USE THEM ON MY FIRST JOB REQUIRING THEM, TO MY SURPRISE THE ONES I RECEIEVED WERE POOR QUALITY AND NOT ABLE TO DRILL THRU WHAT I NEEDED THEM TO. IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THE JOB I HAD TO USE A SET OF HARBOR FREIGHT DRILL BITS FROM ANOTHER TECH IN SHOP. WHEN SALESMAN CAME BACK TO SHOP ON SECOND VISIT HE CARELESSLY KNOCKED OVER A TRANSMISSION THAT BROKE THE VALVE BODY ON IT COSTING ME $450 DOLLARS PLUS MY TIME TO REPLACE. WHEN WE ASKED FOR A RETURN ON OUR DRILL BITS, SALES REP. CAME IN TOOK THE DRILL BITS TO BE TESTED, THEN CAME BACK AND TOLD US THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THEM, AND THAT WE ARE NOT GETTING A CREDIT. WE ALSO BOUGHT PENETRATING OIL SPRAY THAT WORKED GREAT BUT CANS SEEMED TO HAVE VERY LITTLE PRODUCT IN THEM AND A LOT OF AIR. ALL WE CAN SAY IS THAT WE ARE NOT HAPPY.

Stopped by our company where I am the manager. Constantly tried shoving their product (penetrating oil) down our throats. Told them to stop by another time since we were slammed with work. They did and when I mentioned again we weren't interested in their gimmicks the sales guy wanted me to explain. I did and after that he went bizzurk complaining and turned and walked out mumbling words and slammed the door. All because we didn't buy a $6 can of penetrating oil.

Reps will say anything to get a sale. Showed us a great drill bit but what we got was a set of junk drill bits. Product not as demonstrated not as promised and refused to take back. Very disappointing, don't recommend.

MAKE SURE TO ASK THE PRICE OF EVERY ITEM ORDERED!!!

I just got whacked with a $300 bill for 5 grinding wheels, 5 flap discs, and 10 cut off wheels for my hand held angle grinder. They are charging $24 each for regular flap discs you get on amazon for $3 each.

The salesman stopped in last week and casually asked if I needed anything. I figured I would throw some business his way and said sure. Get me 5 wheels and flap discs . The guy ordered the most expensive and/or highest commission wheels on earth without checking if I wanted to pay 8-10 times the price everywhere else. Now I ve been calling, texting, and emailing him for a week with no reply.

Be very careful dealing with this company. I could ve pulled out my phone and ordered 50 of each on amazon with zero hassle, for the same price, in less time than it took to get ripped off by KimballMidwest.

Plus now I m dealing with all the aggravation of trying to contact salesman, emailing back and forth with corporate, getting return info, packing up and shipping wheels back, tracking invoices, getting returns credited to my account and closing account.

This company is terrible!!!!!
