Horrible experience should have found another doctor after my first frustrating experience at this facility but made the mistake of continuing to come to this practice. They discouraged me from talking to the doctor about potty training and healthy eating habits. The phones do not work.... it is almost impossible to reach them even during normal hours. A simple routine Flu shot And vaccination was done to my four year old so cold without and prep so forceful that my son had a 7 inch bruise across his entire leg and couldn t even walk on it properly I felt so bad and now he s like traumatized by the doctors because even to a child they were so rude Horrible experience horrible staff untrained and unprofessional!!!

I was not happy with this office and had to leave. They gave the wrong vaccine shots to my children and never did a full physical. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

The worst doctor office EVER they never answers the phone,then they always reschedule your appointments. And when you get there there's no one there . Please don't take your kids here.

Not very professional or clean for a Doctor's office.

I recently started going here! I love the staff the doctors.. they are very helpful. My kids love them and also they are open Saturdays which is really convenient since I am a working mom! And I would recommend Kids and family to anyone

Accompanied my mom and sister for my two month-old neice s third appointment. This was my first time attending and was shocked by how unprofessional evergtbjng was especially scary for a pediatrician s office. We arrived at two (scheduled appointment time) and waited in the lobby for at least half an hour. When we were finally called in, the nurse (assistant?) didn t introduce herself and asked why we were there (even though at the previous visit, the doctor had told my sister to schedule this appointment). We responded that we were told to schedule the two-month appointment. The nurse took a look at her sheet and said Oh shots. Even though it was disclosed to this office previously, we were asked her birth weight and length, and everything was recorded on a handwritten, unofficial sheet almost like loose leaf. After taking her weight and length we were brought to the patient room and waited another half an hour for the doctor. When the doctor walked in (also didn t introduce herself), she picked up my niece (dressed in pink flowers), commented on how handsome she was, then corrected herself and said beautiful. She checked her ears and eyes, and used a tongue depressor on her. She threw the tips for the probes casually behind her into a trash can in the corner and missed. When we asked the doctor what shots she was getting, she said Hep-B, but that the nurse knew the other ones and that the nurse would be in soon to do shots and hemoglobin. She left, then the nurse came in and said she was getting D-tap, rotavirus, and pneumonia. We opted out of the pneumonia one because we could and we were already sketched out at this point. Another nurse came in, and gave her the rotavirus orally, without communicating with us what they were doing we had to ask. Then they gave her the D-tap shot, and all of them left. We sat in the room for ten minutes before my mom poked her head out and asked if we were done, and they finally said we could. When they went to make the next appointment, we said we d do it by phone and left. Of course we aren t going to because of our experience today.

Basically, no one introduced themselves, told us what was going on, or seemed to know what they were doing. I wouldn t leave your child in their hands.

Nikki one of the staff there, has always greated me with a warm smile. The receptionist is so pleasant she makes you feel like family. My wonderful doctor is morr than amazing and has always made me feel special as a person and never just a client. I love my Doctor , staff and the clean clinic. I recommend this clinic to everyone.

I'm writing this review due to many reviews being left that are complete opposites of each other. I've been going to this office not long & I've had very positive experiences so far. Dr Jacobs is very thorough on all the testing she wants to do & takes her time to explain things & answer questions. So far she's the best Dr I've seen. The office is clean & so is the bathroom. The staff is also professional & polite.

Love love love this office. The nurses there are amazing and so caring. The girl christen I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Everyone is super nice! They are great with my 4 kid's! I'm glad I switched from ( stages) Sandra Dee is a no good doctor I would recommend these people to anyone!

The first 3 visits with my son were ok. But within the past couple of months this place has definitely hit rock bottom. It's always a problem getting someone to see my son. THEY gave me a date and time to come in to get his shots, I showed up early because they called me 3x DEMANDING I come in early so they could go home since my son was the last appointment of the day, waited 45 minutes for them to tell me that they couldn't give him his shots and that they couldn't find any of his records because he's never been there before..meanwhile it's the only doctor he's ever seen. I called 2x in a span of 1 hour to make sure I could come in one day as a walk in. The first time they hung up on me and the 2nd time they told me I could come in. I came in and waited an hour only to be told that they were too busy and my son couldn't be seen. I showed up the next day when they opened at 9am (even though their hours are 8:30-5pm) and waited till 10:45 before my son was seen and that was after I complained 3x about my son not being seen while everyone was sitting around at their desk either on their cell phone or filing their nails. I went back into the room that had told me to wait in and called my insurance company to find a new doctor while I continued to wait for someone to finish doing their nails.

Absolute horrible customer care. They never call back when they say they will. I've been told I would be "taken care of" for 4 days straight and have not received one call back or had my prescription filled that was due over a week ago. Would never recommend this facility to ANY ONE.

This place is ok, I been taking my daughter here for 2 1/2 years and can honestly say I miss the first doctor and her nurses. I don't know what happened on why they switched out the doctor and all the nurses that I grew very close with. But this new doctor and her nurses need to get it together

Christen was the best. She got me right in and treated us like family. She is truely a god send!!!

The unfavorable reviews are the work of a disgruntled ex employee who also has been rounding up a few people who we have not treated.

I can no longer recommend Kidz and Family Care in Orange City. I have been fighting with them to place a script for my daughter's diapers since early December. Now the same issue with my son for an ENT referral. They do not put the required info on the script or referral then act clueless as to why it won't go through. Then they resend the same script. I can rarely get anyone on the phone to resolve this issue. I even contacted the office manager at the Altamonte location and she passed the buck back to them. I can not deal with this level of incompetence when it comes to my children's health. This is sad because I like the doctors there

The ebonics used in the first 1 star rating should be your first clue to steer clear.

I been going to this doctor office for 9 years never had any problems til this new medical assistant started here. Christain I believe her name. She has a nasty attidude , she talk to you in the most disrespectful way. As if she belittling you. My daughter is autistic and is on a medication i can not pronounce . so when I called to get refill and couldnt pronounce prescription i decided to spell it she laughed.... Another incident i was coming from a different county and called at 11am to let them know I will be running 5-10minutes late for appt that was at 4pm a whole 5 hours early and christian tell me they jam pack and if I cant come at 4 dont bother coming because my child won't be seen . rude rude rude. I have always loved dr stephan nimbargi but his staff is rude nasty not compassionate at all disrespectful with no sence of care . I have made complaints on this women 4 different times annd spoke to office manager linda twice and its like she has gotten nastier. Onr of her co worker asked me why I didnt like her her boyfriend black ... Oh so now they pull race card

If they gave me the option to leave negative stars I would. Poorly run facility. Show up for an appointment at 9:45 for my son and doesn't get seen for almost 2 hours (Mind you this is the third time this has happened where they don't care about time). Secretary was non-existent. Doctor was literally sitting down on phone across form us for almost an hour. Terrible facility. DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE!!!!!! We won't be bringing any of our kids back and not recommending this place to anyone. I wouldn't even bring my dog here!

This practice is a complete joke. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES COME HERE!!!!! This practice was referred to me. I show up at 2:30 for my appointment at 2:45 when i get there their sliding glass door was closed. I looked down at my phone assuming they were still on lunch break, but nope they weren't. Finally some cranky Caucasian nurse opens the window and tells me to sign in. I let her know that there wasn't a pen. She slams one down on the counter. No words. Then i sign in , and she hands me paper work. I fill out my paper work but i cant give it back because again they closed their frosted sliding window. Finally she opens the window again and just holds out her hand "Paper work" i get up , return the paper work and she says $20 . What i found out today is that with my insurance i don't owe co-pays and since my daughter was getting a physical it should have been 100% covered. After that catastrophe i waited 90 minutes just to see a doctor. I get in the room, completely unsanitary. No soap, No paper towels , not even in the bathroom. Ripped in many places exam table, hair everywhere, worn decrepit furniture, doctor didn't bother washing her hands or sanitize when she came in. doctor pops in to say a nurse will be by shortly to do my daughter eye exam. Maybe 20 minutes go by. I open the door because i am fuming ready to storm out and there is the only nurse stuffing her face. She then proceeds to take my daughter to do the eye exam as shes eating. Then makes my little girl feel horrible because she didn't recognize some of the capitol letters on the eye exam. She was talking down to her because she couldn't read the second line. I had to ask for the one with pictures. My daughter had 20/20 vision btw. We get taken back to the room doctor shows up. The doctor starts checking my daughters ears. The doctor tells me they look fine. My daughter has had issues previously with her ears being blocked from ear wax so i ask the doctor if she could see my daughters ear drums and she tells me no. I then ask if there is ear wax in the way..? She asks me if i want to look...I , "sure, okay"..so as i'm going to look the doctor puts her head in the way then accidentally puts the probe so far in my daughters ears that she starts crying and saying ouch. I' actually had to pull the doctors hands out of the way. i'm shaking with anxiety, because i had already explained that my daughter had a traumatic experience previously and had a nurse put an ear scope to far in and made her ear bleed. The doctor told me that my daughter didn't actually hurt, she was just scared. The doctor then proceeded to tell me that if her ear bleeds or there is any trouble to just come back. I let the doctor know that we would never return and she just stares at me, and the simply says "NO" . I also said that i felt it was unacceptable to have a 90 minute wait time. She informed me that she takes time with her patients. I asked her to at least sign my daughters forms for school that they needed and she sets some of her filled out patient paper work in a puddle of water on the counter, but still tried to write notes on it. like...soaked. 90 minutes with 3 people ahead of me for a physical and to boot i showed up before any of those 3 patients. i'm not sure what nonsense physical is only and eye exam and a look in the ears. I did report them to my insurance as a fraudulent care provider. Snotty nurses, inexperienced doctor who looks like she jumped out of a Lisa Frank coloring book.
End of rant. Save yourself some money.

Oh, just an update....doc overcharged my copay twice. Still hasn't been refunded.

IF YOU CAN GO SEE DR. KALLA AT 1565 SAXON BLVD. 32725 ST 102 THEY ARE TRULY AMAZING AND IF YOU WANT TO SEE WHAT A REAL DOCTOR LOOKS LIKE WITH A SANITARY, PERSONAL EXPERIENCE HE IS YOUR MAN

I love Dr Sophia she has really took time w me & helped me n a rough stage of my life. I can't thank her enough.

I just called to see if they were accepting new patients and the woman I spoke with talked to me like I was a complete idiot. She was rude and short with me, just awful. So we will not be going to this doctor.

My kid from Thursday develop skin access, on his left arm elbow, on Friday went from very small to horribly big, i get a phone call from school nurse, in regards to it, so immediately after 10 am i started to call the pediatrician office.... No answer at all, plus he needs re fell medicine. What happened? with the office staff, i feel went back to the same lack of operation from when it was located at saxon Blvd. What happened? Since yall moved to orange city this communication problem was solved. The personal super profesional, always answering the phone, always giving me options with appointments, going up and further helping me and my kid to resolve any issues with pharmacies or clamins. I mean wao, i hope the doctor didn't went from.... Great services, to againnnn same lack of efficiency. I was happy how the office was running. Never felt the need to make a review but i can't go again to the same old fashion style the office was at saxon.

My children and I have been coming to this office for 2 years. I can't say that it's ever been better then average at best, but these last couple weeks have really shocked me with how unprofessional this place is. I have called everyday for a week straight and not once did anyone answer the phone or return my call. After the third message I left (2 days the mailbox was full and I was unable to leave a message!) I received a text message from the office asking if I needed an appointment still. I responded back with "yes." Then guess what? They never wrote back!! I tried calling one more time the following week, but still there is no answer. I have already changed pcp because this place is ridiculous.

Love this office because The ladies and the doctor are so sweet I really can't understand why people be so bad by expressing them self so mean about this lady's like in these last review.. I been a patient in this office for very good time and never been mistreated by this lady's, I feel like fam with them because of the way they treat us. I guess these lady don't know the meaning of kindness and professionalism the word she used to describe them I think that's her cause only people like her can feel that way these lady's do there job on point and very professionalism Ms.josi is very humble and very kind she treats everybody with respect and professionalism nobody like her us as patients of Dr.Nimbargi can say he made a good decision when he hired her as he's employee.

I like the doctor, but for whatever reason, she has hired a group of harpies to work in her office. I'd also like to mention the lack of cleanliness, and improper use of needles. Who sticks a used needle into the bench?! Not very sanitary. We will not be returning to this doctor, which is unfortunate, because she is so kind and does her job well.

If I could rate this place a 0 I would! I had an appointment for my 7 yr old daughter at 2. Since she was a new patient I came 30 minutes early to do paperwork. Upon arrival I was told that the doctor was out to lunch with a rep and they didn't know when he'd be back. I was finished with my paperwork at 1:56 and did not get seen until 2:45 by a nurse practitioner. At 3:07 we left the doctors and was told that her prescription would be at the pharmacy in 1 hour. I showed up at the pharmacy 1.5 hours later and was told that it had never been called in. I then called the doctors office and was told she was doing her charts and it would be called in in 2-5 minutes. An hour and s half later I checked with the pharmacy and was told it was STILL never called in. I called to other pharmacy locations but still-it had never been called in. By this time it was past 5 and I could only reach the voicemail. I have a sick kid that needs medicine and they straight lied twice about calling it into the pharmacy. This has never in my life happened where a doctor forgets about her patients.

Update: I left a voicemail stating what had happened and asking to be called back as soon as they opened - but never received a call back what so ever. I called the pharmacy in the morning g to find out that they sent the prescriptions over at 10pm, but to the wrong location! Oh, and they only sent 2 out of the 3 prescriptions that were supposed to be filled. I then called the office and spoke with the receptionist and her only response was "ha, that wasn't me mama" and told me she would speak with the doctor about the missing prescription but she had no idea when it would be sent over. This place is completely unprofessional and I would never trust them with my child's health ever again.

Another update: 2 addotional hours is how long it took them to call in the missing prescription. All in all: it took them a little over 20 hours to call/fax the correct prescription to the wrong pharmacy.
