Horrible experience. I've been in the office for 5 years with my son and now with my 3 month old daughter, after changing physician 3 times without consulting me, the last I had a bad experience. I went in the office with my son who had a fever for 3 days, checked his throat and ears and said he had no infection and it was a virus. The next day, Saturday I took my son in the emergency room because he complained of ear pain and the doctor said that he had infection in the ear and throat, he was medicated with amoxicillin antibiotic for 10 days, I returned to the office by follow up and the physician informs me that my son is allergic to penecillin, for 5 years I did not know that my son was allergic, when I asked who had tested him, the physician said she was going to check it, when I asked again she took out in his chart that he was allergy without at least another test to make sure he was not allergic to penecillin. My son was coughing for 3 months, I went in the office a million times and the physician never requested an X Ray on my son and allergy test, she always said it was a new virus, for 3 months coughing and the cough never went away and when I decided to take him in the emergency room because he was coughing all night and vomiting because of the cough, the physician blamed me for exposing my son to X-ray radiation. My 3 month old daughter had some problems, such as RSV, allergy to formula , trouble breathing and the physician has never had an allergy test on her, to find out if she has asthma and other allergies, until today she breathes badly and I'm tired of going to the office every week for nothing. And lastly, the front desk is rude and I am waiting for 3 months for a refund of a visit. I do not recommend this clinic.
Just completing my review above, I want to make it clear that when my son was born and I chose the office, I chose Dr Gonzales who was an excellent doctor with my son on the first visits and I do not know the reason they took him from us and put a nurse over the years.
I also want to make it clear that we feel very uncomfortable with Julie in the last visits that she did not like when we took our doubts about the health of our children. I felt uncomfortable also every time I took my kids who got sick in the last few months and the front desk making jokes that I should have a spot with my name in the parking lot. And I was tired of every time we do not agree with the office they threaten to kick us out.
Unfortunately the office only cares about insurance things and not the health of the patient. I was very disappointed with what I have been through in the last few months, for these reasons I have changed my children's doctor.
I'm writing this review because I think the office should make changes and put better professionals. And I think Julie should improve her practice because she gets lost in some issues.
