We joined the Keyrenter family in 2018 and are proud to be part of such an outstanding organization. Aaron, Nate and the entire staff at Keyrenter are committed to the success of our business and to success in our personal lives. They have provided us with all the tools, training and support that is necessary for operating a prosperous business. Ann, Kelly and Trista are so helpful at keeping us focused and moving forward. They are always upbeat, positive and reassuring as we have moved through the on-boarding process to the opening of our doors for business. We re very excited about what lies ahead. Thank you Dusty, Keyrenter has been everything you said it would be.

Signed a 15 month lease with Keyrenter. I just ended this 15 month lease. I feel like I was in prison. They are THE WORST property management company I have dealt with. As soon as I moved in the house had issues. The basement flooded multiple times. With sewage aka human poop. They asked me to clean it up. I was so upset I called my attorney who advised this wasn't my problem as I pay them rent. I called back very upset and they finally sent out a carpet cleaner. That's right not a Plummer a carpet cleaner. The basement continued to flood after multiple service requests and months of the Plummer coming and the carpets being cleaned. They finally approved the 30k job to dig up the pipe that was the issue. They did this repair mid winter. So the yard was destroyed due to weather conditions during the repair. I was without water for days. They offered no accommodations or help with the continued issues. In fact I had so many issues with the house they stopped responded to service requests. They are the WORST. Also they will charge you a fee any chance they get. No joke their fees have fees. Being charged a $500 fee for not turning the keys in at 9am the day after my lease ended. They come almost monthly and take photos of the home. They call it an inspection. I've NEVER had a landlord take photos of my personal belongings. A walk through is one thing. But that is not what they do. They tell you it's your responsibility to change the filter. DUH! All rentals require the filter be changed once a month. Which I do. Towards the end of my lease they started sending someone to also check that I am changing the filter..... I believe it was an attempt to check conditions of the home in an attempt to evict me over simple things like smoke detector batteries. Etc... The house was a nightmare. But Keyrenter made my life a living hell. I believe they did all they could to push my family out of the home. Please hear me when I say this. Keyrenter is a scam. They do NOT care about you. They just want your money. I've rented for over 10 years in UT. I've NEVER had such a horrible experience. Oh let's not forget when they switched my utilities out of my name and into the owners. I found this out as I received a notice it would be shut off. When I called they said I switch it into the owners name. Which I did not. Not to mention I pay $120 a month for utilities. But also had to pay them on my own for a time. When I brought this up to Keyrenter they said not to worry that the utilities will be paid. Yeah I know they will be. As I pay them monthly with my rent on top of what I pay to each utility company. They are not reasonable. They penny nickel and dime you. Do yourself a favor and rent with a company that gives a damn about you and your family

As a renter for 3 years I am disappointed in this company for not allowing me to be present for the move out inspection. They can charge anything they want and you have no proof it was even the home you rented. Very shady! Also they are not accommodating to families with children with disabilities. I expressed this concern and was threatened to be charged a fee because I could not accommodate a request when they wanted because of children with severe disabilities. This company is about the bottom line not about people or respect. Renter beware.

If you have chance to work with this company do it. People here really care about their clients, tenants, employees, and every individual franchise owner. I'm going on five years of employment here and still love coming to work. Great team! Feels like home to me.

Deceptive and terribly managed company. $500 non-refundable fee just to see what my rental costs are... are you kidding me?? Changed their story of fees and housing expectations daily, absolutely terrible communication, and used pressuring tactics try to get me to pay without even explaining what it was for.

So glad I stayed away from signing with them. Save yourself a huge headache and STAY AWAY FROM KEY RENTER!

Joining Keyrenter as a franchisee has been a great decision. This company has helped me grow tremendously in the short 6 months I have been a part of the Keyrenter family. The systems and support have elevated me personally and professionally. I had already been a property manager for four years and I was very reactive. There are a lot of pain points in property management and I went from hoping those things did not happen to having a solid plan for every pain point. I also have total access to people who have years of experience dealing with every possible outcome in this business. That support is huge!

Great company to be a part of! We grew from zero to 315 units under management in 14 months, all thanks to the franchise HQ s processes and systems, and their backend support that helped us focus on sales and operations!

My wife and I purchased a franchise in 2017 and it was the best professional decision we've made. Aaron, Kelly, Nate, Dusty and the entire team were welcoming and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of structuring our business. They supported us pre- and post- opening and have laid a foundation of processes, tools and methods that have allowed us to hit the ground running. We look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with Keyrenter!

We have rented with Keyrenter for a few years now. They are easy to work with and we can pay the rent online. You can also submit maintenance requests online and renew lease agreements online as well. They also check in and do inspections from time to time to make sure that everything is in working order and that the filters etc are being replaced . Maintenance is always quick to respond if there is an issue and we have had a couple after hours where we have needed someone to respond. They are always quick to send someone and get the problem fixed. While I m not a fan of some of the fees on top of the regular rent that get charged to maintain the account etc, I understand they are there and can appreciate they are for good reason because on the rare occasion when issues do arise we are promptly taken care of and it makes it worth while.
