Chef Michael catered my Christmas Wedding. The food was outstanding. Everyone loved it and is still talking about it. I had a beef tenderloin that was amazing. His red wine sauce was to die for! I would highly recommend him. They were on-time, easy to work with, reasonably priced, above and beyond catering service.
HIred them to do my Rehearsal Dinner and my Wedding Reception. They took everything and just handled it, which is what I needed. They are precious people and I would be honored to call them friends. I will be using them again for any kind of event. Just all in all, good food, good people that you can trust and depend on.
From the first tasting, to the last bite. Chef Michael and team went to world s end to make sure our wedding was perfect. My wife is a bit picky, me a bit flashy, we wanted an abundance of options at a reasonable price that tasted fresh and perfect Chef Michael executed that vision amazingly.
I can t even begin to describe how awesome their team was from finding somewhere to get my wife s favorite ice cream, to endless iterations of the menu to make sure everything to the sides was perfect, the team worked to design and fully customize everything to our exact specification. Special shout out to Amber for being one of the most professional, responsive, and amazing organizers I ve ever had the pleasure of working with.
Overall, Chef Michael may be one of the best choices we made with our March 2021 wedding. They went out of the way to tour the venue with us and come up with a unique game plan for our food being cooked on site and even left us the cutest picnic basket with treats for us to take home afterwards. Food was a big focus of us for our wedding and I couldn t recommend anyone better than Chef Michael. We tried caterers from all over Houston and Austin big and small to find the perfect one and no one ever even came close to Chef Michael for quality, taste, and value.
I m honestly going to need to book Chef Michael again in the future just to eat that great food again.
Chef Michael and his team produce quality food! We have enjoyed the prepackaged food and delivery services. My kids also love the meals and are excited to for the pick up and delivery service of Chef Michael's Pizza on the go!
We have been ordering take out from Chef Michael's Gourmet Kitchen weekly since Covid onset. We love! Chef Michael changes the menu often so there are always new things to try. Entrees, salads, soups, pizzas, sides, sandwiches, and desserts have all been exceptionally good. For down home gourmet comfort food you can't beat his cheddar mac n cheese. Portions are generous and prices reasonable. I hope Chef Michael continues to-go orders once catering is back in full swing.

I can't even begin to express how amazing, pain-free and professional this catering experience was. My wife and I got countless compliments on what an outstanding job Chef Michael did on the food and the presentation! The aesthetics of everything was top-notch and the food was just unbelievably delicious, right down to the lemonade (big hit too)! So many of our guests asked about Chef Michael, even into the evening after he left. What was also amazing was the portions for the amount of people we needed to feed was absolutely spot-on! It was fantastic all the way around and we look forward to more occasions with Chef Michael's Gourmet Kitchen -- without a doubt! We used Chef Michael and his staff to prepare an evening meal for our 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration. Chef Michael and Amber were wonderful to work with, very knowledgeable, and all the details and menu selections were handled over the phone. The evening of the celebration, Chef Michael arrived at the predetermined time with the food and all the serving equipment, and stayed until all the food was accounted for. His staff, led by Jill, arrived and began setting up all the equipment , and was very attentive to all the details that go with catering needs. The food was delicious and beautifully displayed. Everything was exactly as ordered, and we could not have been more pleased with the quality and quantity of the food. At the predetermined time, Jill and her helper began putting the leftovers into plastic containers to leave with us, began cleaning up, and putting the serving dishes into a specific area for pick up. Chef Michael arrived very shortly afterward, loaded up all the equipment, including our trash. I highly recommend Chef Michael s Gourmet Kitchen for any catering you might need. We will certainly use him again.

Chef daniel catered my wedding @ La Tranquila Ranch and the food was a hit! We had Chicken picatta, alfredo rotini, and mixed veggies people were going up for seconds and thirds everything was cooked to perfection! Wedding food can be bland or undercooked but not here you could tell they care about quality. Any catering needs I may have in the future they will receive our business. Thank you for excellent food
