These ferries are part of mombasa symbols as it is hard for one to move around Coast without using them. It's free to those on foot and a "little" fee to those with motor vehicles. Very smooth ride and a few minutes later, you are on the other side.
I personally liked it!!!

Great service, but avoid rush hour if you can, too congested.

The view of the ferry and passing ships is Marvel. You should however seek permission to take photos

They offer great services to the people of Mombasa, visitors and tourists. Great way of connecting from one side of Mombasa to the other. Fees for motor vehicles loaded on the ferry are very affordable.

You need a lot of patience. It is time for the ferry to be replaced by a bridge.

Ferry links Mombasa to South coast, it's free to use. Usually crowded during rush hour. Long waits from 10pm. Can be insecure always be careful with your belongings especially your phone.

We use the ferry to cross the ocean between Mombasa island and the Southern part of the coastal region

Actually the place is good and amazing .Customers handled in a admirable way.

Not bad, ok costs, most cars can maneuver to get on or off but virtually impossible to board for the supercars, stanced and lowered cars

A new Ferry was launched the other day at Likoni channel. The only connection from Mombasa island to mainland South. Lately giving great service

Ever busy, 24/7 service, convenient but only at your own risk.

The security persons ask for bribery and they sometimes mistreat old people I suggest that they are taken for further training on how to bundle people

Needs a quick response rescue unit,,, way better nowadays

Service is fast enough, guards present on scene to handle people, vehicles are taken good care of

Poor services and there security personnel are so arrogant event to Government officers

We use the ferry (a vessel)to cross from the island to the other part.....best times to cross are around midday sinces there is no traffic...but as from 4pm during weekend is crazy

Spent over 2 hours waiting to cross over to the mainland at the ferry. Not acceptable. Too many man-hours lost.

An amazing experience, especially for someone used to European standards. In fact, the only way from Mombasa to Diani.

Likoni ferry services are available for all locals and vistors who would like to get to the mombasa island and likoni

Keep your valuables close to you. If you exit your car, make sure to lock it behind you. Observe safety at all times......

Smooth running but delays may be experienced on one side sometimes. If you will want to save your time you have to be early to make up for waiting times which may or may not be there .

Very congested and time consuming. Great view though. Poor and biased customer service.

KFS, your ferries and the environment around them are far from attractive. Wake up!

They get you across the river in Mombasa, but the wait is long sometimes...
