This ferry is evil, long waits a lot of filth and many beggars. If you do not serve the beggars, you can quickly throw a corncob on your head. So be careful
Safe and secure mode of transport for crossing the Likoni Channel to Mombasa Island and back to the Mainland.
Unpredictable! Delays going up to two hours with no information at all!
The service they provide is fast compared to what they gave earlier. This is great as you font have to wait too much for a ferry. They also allow you to get a nice view by getting off your vehicle but you arent allowed to take pictures. The ferries are pretty much clean. The only charge you have to pay is for your car. People do not get charged so you go on free.
Very smooth ride amazing how many people use it WOW peaceful to and from very quick nice
Having used this service 4 times the last few days I found the service very efficient despite the visual chaos!
Kenya ferry service free for citizens and non resident citizens. This ferry service links between mordern cost and south cost. In Kenya ferry service also transport of all self driving vehicles like motercycle, auto, car, bus, truck etc. For kenya ferry service you not need to wait more than 5 min. It's countinue running. You need to carefully drive vehicles due to after exit vehicles should be climb up in inclined slop. Thanks you for read reviews
If you like please like.
Thank you
Some modern ferries now giving service delivery a face lift
Most of the time the ferries works well but it is not for friendly to disabled people
Very crowded and sometimes long waiting times, depending on how many ferries are currently working. Currently, however, the only way to get from A to B and considering the crowds to be overcome (on foot and in cars) 4 stars.
This crossing is so bad! Unorganized - everyone tries to get in front of the next vehicle - Ferry's are always taken of for maintenance while most needed. Seems no repairs in the night, but only in hours 9 to 5. Management should be fired and the crossing should be privatized instead. Waiting like at least 45 minutes to 2 hours in the morning and in the evening. Build the ringroad to Ukunda fast or / build a high bridge for crossing pedestrians.
They a doing a great public service. But they need to pull up their socks to beat the sickening traffic jams
Likoni area. Enhances movement from Likoni to Mombasa town and back.
The most tourist attraction place have ever gone ..really good place ..talk about the ferry
Crossing channel which connect North coast and South coast
Bridging the island and the mainland. It was quite an experience.
the only option linking south coast to island, once in a while mishaps other wise great ferry ride
currently the '"only passable'" route to diani ,sometimes ferry may delay especially on fridays afternoon and monday morning
Really really not a pleasant experience ... Unfortunately there is no alternative
If are a pediatrician you need to be care, theft is real
You get a nice view of the kilindini port from the ferry
Its a beautiful place, although the services their sometimes are very slow.
Ferry services is one of the efficient services in Mombasa
Long lines. Always waiting minumum 2 hours every time you visit mombasa
There waiting bays r not fit 4 human,It's dirty, stuffy and security guys r in humane
For visitors to the area it is a nice experience using the ferry, although it is definitely congested.
It's the only company in Kenya ferrying people and luggage between Mombasa Island and South Coast
It also provides sea excursions to local and international tourist
Traffic congestion specially morning and evening hours is hectic.
A must to get out of Mombasa to the south, convenient but not very fast. Impressive traffic at certain times.
The worst service in Kenya. The ferries can not possibly be sea worthy. Avoid it at all costs if you can.
