Great community health facility. Olympic pool, walking track, day care, weight machines, free weights, exercise classes, treadmills, ellipticals, rowing machines, instructors & a very supportive staff, even a science room with a 3D printer. Big parking lot. Always busy but with plenty of room.

This location is huge! My main reason for the high stars rating is because they are so good with children in their school swimming program. Several of the women are wonderful also with children who have special needs.

Modern and updated YMCA. They have a number of really cool classrooms, like a 3d printer lab. All of the facilities are comfortable and clean. Large locker room area with individual changing stalls. We came here for a full day swim meet and enjoyed it.

It's nice to go to the warm pool to do therapy exercises. I would give it a 5 but the warm pool isn't always warm. The Jacuzzi stays nice and hot though. The times that I go, the exercise machine I need is always available. You can definitely get in your own zone with or without headphones. Come and join the Y.

always super busy with a bunch of disrespectful high school kids. The service desk does nothing but ramble about policies and are unable to explain a single one. I lost my job and asked if there was some sort of temp assistance or discount. They told me that they would go off my taxes from last year. WHAT I WAS WORKING THEN. They are very impatient and don't want to help you. I had been a member of the ymca for the last 15 years and have just watched it go down hill. The facilities are always down either the steam room or cardio or pool or showers. I am just too old and tired to put up with it anymore. Put people in place to deal with these things or at least someone who actually cares.

My family has been members on and off for years. We like the facility, the staff, and the offerings overall. Both our kids learned to swim here and our girls have tried all sorts of athletics (rock climbing, tae Kwan do, dancing, soccer, volleyball). While the kids are busy, my husband and I get in a workout. There are lots of weight machines and free weights, a track, a gym, an abundance of aerobic machines - stairs, elliptical, rower, treadmill, and a couple of pools - one shallow and heated and the other Olympic sized w/ a diving board. There is a child care drop off that is $20 for the year. We have liked 90% of the staff from the swim coaches to the front desk to the summer camp counselors. There's a decent variety of activities offered, although I've found myself wishing for more options or hoping for a nicer teacher for the next session. However, for the price of our membership and the classes, I feel this has been a great value.

I had a wonderful experience this weekend, I spoke with Cheryl back in July and booked a pool party for my younger sister. She was very professional and answered all of the questions that I had. When we arrived we were helped in a timely manner, and shown upstairs to the party room. Everything was clean and ready for us. I believe his name was Dave that helped us with clean up, he was wonderful as well. I understand on Sunday s they close at 5pm but trying to get a bunch of kids upstairs from the pool to do food, dessert and gift opening was a little difficult. He was very patient with us as we d gone about 10 minutes over with my sister opening her gifts. I would likely throw a party here again based off the pricing, much more affordable to do a pool party here instead of the recplex.

Love the early morning Monday-Friday staff, especially the front desk and the janitor. ALWAYS happy and accommodating. I have never had any issues with other customers. Everyone seems to mind their own, and everyone seems to be extremely friendly/non judgemental. Always a plus!

I recently started training with Tammy, and she is awesome. She is quiet at first, but she has really pushed me (in a nice way)! She has turned into an influential person. She is very nice but knows how to help her client's reach their full potential.

The only negatives about the facility:

1) Hours are not ideal (do not stay open late enough and wish they opened earlier on Sundays).

2) The volume controls on the machines tend to break often and they aren't attended to as quickly as they should. One of the rowing machines has not worked right for some time.

3) Since there is an age requirement on the machines (which was not expressed to us when we joined), I wsh there were more for kids to do when parents excercised.

4) One of the leads to the early morning classes is a little TOO loud for those who like a quieter start to their morning. Understand she is trying to motivate? but her class isn't the only one in the building.

It's nice but there are other programs going on inside the building and the people at the front desk don't know about all of them nor where to go to find them physically in the building. You'd think the front desk would know about the other programs or could look them up in the computer - such as physical therapy - which is what I was looking for.

I will never go back to this facility. I had signed up for a fitness class and due to unfortunate circumstances I was no longer able to make it to that class. It was a day before the class started and they would not refund me the money or even give me a credit for a different session. Even before I signed up for the class I called to make sure I would be able to get a refund if I was not able to make it. Very unprofessional and not friendly on the phone. Terrible customer service

It's a nice facility. I went here when I was younger with family and friends. The building and grounds manager is pretty nice. I had to do some service hours and I got about 54 hours in here. They are always looking for volunteers to help out in the maintenance department because they tend to be short staffed. The only thing I have to say is they do close once in a while for maintenance repairs.

I'm never returning here again there was a female staff member there by the name of Cherly who was extremely racist towards myself and I was nothing but respectful towards her when she approached me she lacked customer service and also lacked proper communication and boundaries I felt my space was being envaded while having a conversation with her so I took a step back and she took another step forward so i took another step back and she walked towards me once again these signs alone let me know that she was looking for a confrontation or looking for me to get out of character but I wouldn't take the bait I remained neutral and compliant and left the Kenosha YMCA with a smile on my face advising the staff to have a good day despite my unfortunate experience!!
