Donna and her team at Kendrick Property Management somehow are able to balance the needs of both tenants and owners with the utmost professionalism, courtesy, and common sense. Amherst is full of predatory management companies that take advantage of absentee owners and naive college students -- Kendrick is the opposite of this. Call them first.
Kendrick manages my condo building in downtown Northampton. They took over from another agency about a year ago and it s been extremely positive in all aspects. They keep lines of communication open and their response times to issues have been quickly dealt with always in a professional manner.
Rude, Not cooperative. There was construction outside my bedroom window for a month. My previous review was removed.
I was able to obtain a very nice apartment in Easthampton which is rented and maintained by Kendrick Management Co. I have nothing but rave reviews for Kendrick; however when I looked at the apartment I had to go through Robinson Reality. The agent spent 10 minutes with us and charged $850 just to apply. I asked her to delay cashing my check (her extortion) for one month as it was November and with the Christmas holiday...I wasn t due to move in until the January first.
She not only cashed my check but never responded to my plea of decency.
I not only paid the $850 but $175 in overage charges from my bank.
Every concern and question I ve had since living here has been addressed and answered by Kendrick, promptly, respectfully and with great results.
I m completely pleased with Kendrick.

Stay AWAY! If I could give the management zero stars, I would. They took advantage of my college-aged daughter. They rented a house that had horrible mold (We did an air test and a swab test). They painted OVER the mold and claimed it was fixed. Then they refused to refund the rent she was owed for the months she couldn't live there while they were fixing the problem because, "You told us you weren't planning on moving in there until August anyway." We moved her to a much nicer and SAFER apartment in Amherst. This company is shady and should not be in business.
