As ever, friendly and great quality service. Impressed with how speedy they were, despite being incredibly busy.

Popped in this morning to get an old fashioned 6 speed cassette freewheel unit and in minutes the guys had it fixed back to my wheel all neat, tidy and clean. And the cost about 50pence less than Amazon wanted to send me one in the post for.

Top service, one of the best bike shops around even if you are just a regular Joe like me that knows very little about bikes.

Use them, not the Internet, they are proof that local business people are truly oiling the wheels of industry in this country.

Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and reasonable. Carried out a minor repair without fuss and gave good advice.

I like to maintain and work on my own bicycles but now and then need some advice, help or if i need emergency parts i go to Owens.
The best bicycle shop in the country (I've been to quite a few due to cycle touring) If they don't have the part you're looking for they seem to always have it in their handy 2nd hand bits box.
Jonathon's customer service is 2nd to none. A very likeable and helpful chap.

I was touring around, and stopped by to get some energy bars; my worn out cleats were making noise, so I asked for some grease and was promptly given a grease gun.

Like the other reviewers, I've been going to Owens for several years, and am full of praise. They stock a good range of kit at fair prices, but it is the service that sets them apart from the (many) other bike shops I've used over three decades! My first contact was when, two days before a 1000 km sponsored ride, my rear wheel went out of true. My then - usual shop refused to help; Owens fixed it while I waited. I was an instant convert and since have never been other than delighted with the work Owens have done for me, or with the pricing. Top notch.

This is an outstanding place! I ve been a loyal customer with road, mtb and kids bikes and every time I ve found them exceptional. Knowledgeable, helpful staff who are passionate about cycling - please please please visit these guys rather than any of the big chains - you ll be pleased you did.

Fantastic service as always! We popped in while cycling the local hills for some pedal cages for my son and Owen was really helpful in recommending ones he'd like. I was hoping he might be able to fit them but thought it was unlikely given how busy they are but he was happy to do so and did it then and there. Made all the difference to my son as we cycled home up Steep hill. Thank you! :D

Bought a new Bianchi bike. Well priced and excellent service. Highly recommended.

This is the most down to earth bike shops I have ever been to.
Walked in with with my front forks damaged they told me i could have it fixed in one or two days.
Unlike some other shops that tell you it will be a months wait.
I have an old bike and some shops won't even help just turn you away.
