Kempinski Palace Portoroz Review

Super hotel. The only hotel in Portoro , which deserves 5 stars. Super rooms, excellent staff, super food. And for this quality they offer, very low room prices outside of the season. The hotel TO MAKE, and everyone wants to visit at least once in a lifetime.

Very friendly employees, but our room was on very noisy side. I never realised there was so much traffic in Portoro . Not Kempinski foult but I will never understand how 5 star hotel can be on one side of the road and kebab stands on the other...

This Hotel is classic. It s as if we were walking into a castle as the royal couple. Check-in was rather smooth and the staff was very courteous. Our room has a lavish bathroom embellished in marble and wow, just as luxurious as it gets. The separate living area and dining room are amazing! Furthermore, the suite was well-equipped with a Flat-screen TV, Wifi, Working Desk and a Safe Box.
The breakfast buffet is heavenly and served on an elegant terrace. You ll have plenty of options from bread, pastries, fresh fruits, meat, cereals, etc. and they even have some vegan treats! Milk substitutes are also available upon request. This is such a perfect way to start the day!

Luxury and prestige, I spent a very pleasant stay, equipped spa and massage room, lovely breakfast room, polite and professional staff, great attention to the customer.
The Christmas markets in the garden are also fantastic.
Large and very beautiful classic-style room on the top floor, gigantic bed, bathroom with small but very elegant bathtub and equipped with all comforts.
Very appreciated and original welcome gift (homemade sweets)
Clothing boutique and hairdresser on the ground floor near the entrance, majestic and well-kept with lounges for guests with very comfortable sofas, plants and large windows.
The best in Portoro , also for its seafront location.

Were there only one night, but everything was absolutley amazing. The Hotel itself looks breathtaking. The room was small but very cozy, the pool was beautiful and warm. The biggest plus was the breakfast. Huge choice of different food, really tasty. Would definetly come back.

Front very nice and romantic, inside modern. The dining room very nice, but cold atmosphere. Average room size, room facing the parking lot, bed mattresses very good. Bathroom is ok, but toilet is integrated in the bathroom. Hair dryer was broken. Food was buffet style: disappointing, unfortunately cold, nothing special. Luggage service only after Urgenz.

A dream in Slovenia. Service on a high level, Slswasserpool, good kitchen, top.

A great place. Just what you expect from a Kempinski hotel. The rooms in the old part are cosier, the top suites are amazing!

Check In: Complicated, confusing and 20 minutes long
Cola in the pool area: no carbon dioxide
Breakfast: very cool
Check out: quick and uncomplicated

Love their garden cafe Forma Viva. Charming and relaxing place, super friendly staff.

The best hotel on the Slovenian coast is also employed.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff is very professional. The interior as well as the exterior of the hotel is on a high level.

The 5 * luxury hotel was built in 1910, renovated in 2008 and has an annex, which also has a spa area with indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
The rooms are modern and spacious, with breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea and dinner in the hotel's centrally located Crystal Hall should not be missed.
An on-site parking garage, also suitable for sports cars, is available.

It is a luxury hotel. A few years ago they have it, keeping only the period facade

Breakfast staff understaffed, pigeon problem on the breakfast terrace, otherwise always gladly.

Hotel Kempinski Palace is a wonderful hotel with great service, spacious and comfortable rooms, and awesome breakfast. Food selection is huge, with something for everyone.

Beautiful hotel! Fantastic breakfast with a great variety of options. The room was spacious with a balcony and a nice view. The pool was beautiful and our poolside service from Lazar (hopefully I got his name right) was phenomenal. All the employees were eager to answer questions or help in any way possible. I highly recommend this hotel. Thanks for a great stay!!

It is fantastic place for wedding celebration. Magical atmosphere and professional service is there for you to feel comfortable and secure during your special day.

Disappointing experience
The hotel is very nice, the rooms are spacious and the bathroom is very large and equipped with all comforts but we do not recommend the half-board formula.
Dinner (two nights very well served) one bad night served (glasses were missing, several waiters asked several times) was not a real dinner ... an appetizer and a first or a second with modest quantities of food was not the dinner we expected in a 5-star hotel, considering that hotels not far away offer buffet dinner. 13 euros then for a glass of wine and a 0.75 liter bottle of water seem to me an exaggeration.
Surely we will not repeat this experience.

The Kempinski is a luxury hotel that impresses with its unobtrusive charm and is certainly a hotel for everyone! Even in Corona times with an excellent security concept, just great! In a hotel where every guest is treated like an emperor!

Quiet place with a view of a small suburban beach that is quite busy but not as some other crowded beaches. Of course, clean and warm water.

Super location, good offer, prices comparable to Maribor. Portoroz is a law.
