I had to come here because I was renting a car and this was the pick up location. As someone who is backpacking and used to hostels, this was absolutely incredible. Everything was so clean and the staff helped us even though we weren't staying there. Thanks!

We've spent a few days at the hotel because of the SOF festival. The service is great, rooms are very nice, room service is also on a very high level. Though the room fare is on a high level you should definitely try the classic part of the hotel.

This is a luxury hotel, perhaps the best on the coast in Portoro Maid service 2 times a day, breakfast canceled until 12:00 in the morning !!! The rooms are spacious, there is everything for comfort, except the kettle and coffee maker) Large heated pool and salt water. Sea across the road. Near many shops and cafes. In general, I recommend this hotel to any tourists.

Our expectations were probably too high for a luxury hotel chain.
Reception was very friendly. Room very clean and cozy. Large cozy bed. However breakfast very poor. No spreads or anything else. Fruit fresh and good. No specialties but everything like in normal hotels. You are not informed about which drinks they offer for breakfast (e.g. prosecco, freshly squeezed juices, ..)

Beach: You can rent a pavilion with a wide lying TOP for 50 per day! But there is no bar. You have to wait 20-30 minutes for the drink. It is recommended that you go to the coffee next door and get your cocktail there in a MUG. No sanitary facilities - you get a "coin" to go to the public toilet for free.
There is no beach feeling here. Pity!
Price / performance ratio is unfortunately not correct here.

Hotel luxury in outdoor and common areas, with indoor and outdoor pool, spa, gym and health and beauty treatments. The rooms "standard" new wing feature a decor a little 'chic with roses on the bottom of the bed and armchairs baroque prints, while those in the wing "ancient" have a more sober decor, in shades of beige but not cured as we would expect for a hotel of this category !! For the rest, a breakfast room in imperial style (gorgeous) is a great service! Also good location in the center of the village and the possibility of a reserved area on the beach!

Very nice place to stay, it is not cheap but is worth its cost. Gives access to the main part of the city and is near to some good local restaurants, for those who love to eat fine food.

Not clean at all, especially spa part of the hotel. They didnt change sunbed covers from the day before and pool was very small with cold water so everyone were in whirlpool including children as they dont have any place or pool for kids. Expected much more from this hotel.

The Kempinski Palace Hotel is absolutely a wonderfsul hotel, in an amazing building where the classic architecture meets the contemporary in an exquisite union. All, starting from the sumptuous buffet breakfast, arriving to the sofisticate dinner in the Sophia restaurant is delicious, furthermore all the members of the staff are always really kind and polite, always ready to help the guests in every occasion.
At the end one fantastic touch of elegance and style is for sure the pool area where every single guests can relax himself and in the same time feel the cozy atmosphere of the place.
This is the confirmation that Kempinski is always a guarantee.

Visited years ago (August 2012), but I still remember it as a sumptuous and very comfortable hotel, flawless in every respect and served by very kind staff. I hope to go back one day.
