As "estate researchers", NOT ATTORNEYS, they cold call possible heirs and ultimately charge a fee based on the settled estate. They make no mention of this practice unless you view the website or know to ask the right questions. They obviously scour public data to prey on the bereaved. Total scam.
Back in 2006 we were notified by this company about my uncles estate.They told us is was large,Complicated,With minor properties and said they were still finding things.A few months later when we inquired more about it because we had not heard from them they told us the estate was close and acted like they never told us any of that.Very shady if you ask me.
This is an incredibly unprofessional scam - these people tried to scam an 18 year old out of a 1/4 of their inheritance, then hung up when asked about their business model. YIKES.
