Fifteen years in real estate, of which the past 8 have been in the Keller Williams Greater Seattle office, and I firmly believe there s not a better place to grow a business or be cared for as a client.

Real estate is a constantly evolving, fast-paced, personal team sport. For agents and clients to be successful requires effective, committed, attentive leadership. We have been exceptionally fortunate in fielding a leadership team that reflects these attributes, and it has been borne out in the growth of our office and the quality people we ve been attracting.

There are always challenges to growing a high quality business and we ve seen many of them, as you ll read in some past reviews. Being able to learn from and grow past these challenges is the mark of a robust and uncompromising leadership team.

I look forward to being a member of this outstanding community of professionals and serving our clients with integrity and humility for many years to come.

This has been my brokerage for 7 years, and it is the BEST. Not only does it follow the core values of Keller Williams at it's finest, including, but of course not limited to, a serious focus on education, collaboration, putting the agents first, and continuously trying to improve the office for all and hearing our voices as agents. It has truly been a pleasure working here, and I could not have had a better experience as a brand new agent, but also as an established agent starting her 8th year in the industry. The agents are the best, and don't subscribe to the theory that knowledge should be kept to themselves. They share, help, and genuinely want their fellow agents to succeed. The staff are the BEST! They care, are helpful, are literally ALWAYS thinking of ways to improve, and always have the agents in mind for their decisions on how to improve things. Come join us! You won't regret it!

Since 2009 I've chosen to be in business with this firm, which over the years I've witnessed transform from great into a world class market center. What first drew me to this firm is the collaborative nature of the brokers it attracted, which still holds true today. What's different is the increased level of experienced, producing colleagues who continue time and again to help one another elevate our respective practices, challenge and bring out the best in each other. Before going into business with KW Greater Seattle, I couldn't have imagined, especially within the real estate industry, a firm with so many professionals I admire professionally and connect with personally. Core values, training, education, technology, support and especially the staff have raised the bar to exemplary standards. I can't imagine a more well-rounded brokerage and I am truly grateful to be in business with such an outstanding group of proven pros.

I would NEVER recommend Amy to any buyer. Below is purely based on my personal experience and opinions.

1) Amy always claimed she won me properties so quickly but other agents couldn't, which tried to make herself sound very good.

The fact was that I lost two properties bids from her. She won it just because she recommended me to put skyrocketed price and have almost no contingency to protect the buyer, so I'm not sure if it's always good or bad for the buyer. Learning from having no protection for the buyer, I also helped my friend win a property within same week learning this same "no protection" strategy from her.

2) She promised to give me back some commission back, which is supposed to be $3k+ (0.5% commission back). When my house was closing, she later said the calculation was based on her earning, say $300k*3%*0.5%, which turns out to be ridiculously small number. She's been with real estate for 2-3 years, how can she not know how to calculate this kind of commission back???

3) Before winning the transaction, she was very responsive and offered info. but after my houses were closed, her customer services attitudes and levels are significantly different from before.

My bottom line and value is Customer Obsession principle like Amazon services. It's a normal expectation as a customer who receives services for what we pay for. After she got paid $$$$$ from my houses, she said to me "we don't have further resources to support you".

4) She also insulted her client.

After I said to her that I feel her customer services are very different from winning the houses, she wrote me an email back saying "You are also condescending and completely unaware (even after my attempts to make you aware) of everything I did for you. "

I don't like people to judge me, including my family or friends. She got paid from my deals but still insulted me this way (from my perspective).

I've been with KWGS every day of my real estate career. I came into the office when we've had ineffective leadership, no leadership, and now, thankfully, fantastic leadership. I'd argue there isn't another brokerage in Seattle that's more dedicated to empowering their agents with the tools to maximize their success more than KWGS.

The coaching I receive from my general manager has helped increase my business to levels I never would have thought were possible. She's helped me view my job as a business and I've had to change my thinking of being just a Realtor to a business owner. Furthermore, she's helped introduce me to people and ideologies that have shaped how I plan to invest through various forms of wealth building.

I have never seen, or heard of, another brokerage that is more committed to setting their agents on a path towards the future of their choosing.

Keller Williams at Wallingford posts ads that tell you if you give your information, they will give you a valuation on your home.
Once you do that they advise they will contact you later. It is posted as if you will get it immediately like Zillow. Not so. To me its as if they want your phone , address and e mail. I was disappointed to get an e mail saying basically they are so busy that I have to work with them by appointment, only on THEIR schedule. Then I got an e mail trying to show me a potential home to buy once mine is sold. Very bold and presumptious in my opinion. I had to ask them to quit contacting me and remove my phone number & e mail from their lists. Seems very agressive.

In 13 years I've hung my real estate license at a number of different brokerages, but the last 6 years I've spent at Keller Williams Greater Seattle has been the best! The camaraderie in this office is unparalleled, as is the support staff, access to technology, and the office itself. Wonderful, central location in a spacious, secure, newly-remodeled building. Everything I ever wanted in a real estate brokerage. Not to mention all the best agents in the city!

I Keller Williams Greater Seattle because the staff is always there to help you out. It doesn t matter if you are the highest producer or a new agent. They created an office that excels in training classes, getting agents into production and breaking that glass ceiling. I would highly recommend KWGS to anyone looking to grow a team, thinking about expansion or starting out. Plus! Have you seen the remodeled office?! Who wouldn t want to work there.

After being in real estate for 14 years with another Seattle brokerage, I decided to make the move to KW Greater Seattle for additional growth and collaboration. Their unique business model and open-book philosophy creates a culture of support among fellow agents. The opportunity to brainstorm and share ideas and trends throughout the office has allowed my business to flourish and reach the next level. Their continued education and technology programs are also some of the best I've ever experienced. The office culture remains fun and supportive, I'm sure that's why Forbes magazine recently named Keller Williams one of the happiest places to work.

After 14 years in real estate and management, I can honestly say KW Greater Seattle is one of the BEST companies I've ever been part of. The office culture is fantastic, the collaboration is strong and the pursuit of knowledge and training is high. This is the humblest group of go getters I've ever had the privilege of working with and I couldn't be prouder!

I had such a fantastic experience purchasing my home through Keller Williams Greater Seattle. I worked with Danny Greco and his attention to all the little things throughout my purchase process was fantastic. So much so that he even inspired me to join KW when I started my real estate career.

The Greater Seattle office is like none other. The collaboration and comraderie between agents is not only a fun environment to be a part of, but also extremely beneficial in my real estate career. I started out with a small no-name company prior to starting with KW and more than tripled my GCI in my first year at KW. Real tangible results!

If you want a company that has your back it's KW. I'm very picky about who who I do business with and when you put your name with a company, it better be one that you are proud of!!
From the moment I walked into this office it felt like home. Everyone is kind and helpful as well as professional. This is what a core team is all about, working together to attain the best results for clients and associates is key!
I'm proud to work at this office and Keller Williams in general. This will be my 11th year with this company and I couldn't be happier!

Fiduciary breach---another lesson in trust

Fiduciary breach---another lesson in trust

When recently married friends asked me for a realtor recommendation, I could not recommend Kris Murphy, and Daniela. I realized that I could not depend on them again.

My last transaction with Kris and Daniela has been bothering me for two years so I have decided to modify a review I wrote here 5 years ago.

5 years ago we purchased a house with the help of agents Kris and Daniella. At that time I was definitely a fan, as you can see under my moniker "tito R". So, when I put our duplex on the market, two years ago, I enthusiastically called on them again. Regrettably, I was too willing to relinquish skepticism and I put complete trust in Kris.

After one, week end open house we had only one "above asking" offer. It was the hottest buyers' market I have seen since just before the recession, maybe hotter. So I expressed some surprise that there was not more interest. Kris and Daniela reported that a conspicuous foundation problem had discouraged open house visitors and some just walked away upon discovering it. I had known for 35+ years that a couple of foundation supports needed replacing---they had been installed poorly 50 years ago during a conversion from single family. I assumed Kris would have told me that this would be a problem before we listed. It is immediately apparent upon entering the basement. As I said, conspicuous. Kris did not mention it---until it was too late and we were considering offers. I should have stopped right then and started over but there was pressure to continue and, foolishly, I did---and have regretted it.

I thought I knew Kris well enough to trust that she would put my interest first. I learned that one should be very careful about putting complete trust in any real estate agent. After I relinquished my blind trust in Kris I realized that they might have done a number of things to make a quick and easy sale e.g. encouraging listing before July 4th. It may be that the staging helped--I'm uncertain about that--- it was expensive. I must say they had good contacts for work they recommended and the house looked much better after some remodeling. But they encouraged me to choose from the offers we got the day after the open house weekend. Only one was above asking (5%) and asking was at the low end. I had told them we had 5 months to make the sale and don't understand the rush. Regarding the foundation problem, I'm pretty sure Kris knew me well enough to know that I would fix it, thereby delaying the sale. I have building experience and ability and would have fixed it--- I estimate a week--- so that means probably two or 3. What we lost in time would have been more than offset by a solid foundation.

I could be mistaken about some of the "rushed" things I suspect but the foundation issue is certain. To their credit, I think Kris and Daniela are reasonably honest and they are certainly professional. But the failure to warn about the foundation problem was a fiduciary breach and I believe it cost me. After the sale was complete I sent two messages expressing my dissatisfaction with not being warned about the foundation problem. I did not receive a response.

After 25 years with another brokerage, I made the move to the KW Greater Seattle office as a broker and as their lead managing broker. I have the opportunity to work with such a tremendous amount of experienced brokers who continually amaze me with their culture of professionalism, market knowledge, business models, technology and also assisting less seasoned brokers to be just as successful as they are with their continual growth and systems.

Fundamentally dishonest. They claim to be previewing for a buyer. There is no buyer, just a sales pitch to list. Think about this: Would you choose to date someone who lied to you on the first date? Why would you trust your home to someone who introduces themselves with a lie?

I could not have been in better hands during my house purchase, and subsequent sale. I was very stressed out and agitated, but Jason and his team answered each question, possibly 50 times, with patience and grace. If I ever move again, I will be absolutely certain to call Keller Williams Realty. Things got done incredibly fast and professionally.
