Best pizza in the capitol region. Great wait staff and owners. What a great location! If only they could close the road going thru their parking lot...ah, we shall have to stay tune. Happy 60th.

This pizza has a lot of cheese. I'm not a big fan of that at all. The service was good. The main reason for my low review is for an extremely weak, $10 antipasto salad. The large was a bunch of iceberg lettuce with one slice of cucumber, two tomato wedges and the meat and cheese were laid flat at the bottom of the plate underneath of everything of which there were only 2 slices of provolone, ham and salami. How cheap! That was the most pathetic antipasto salad I've ever had.

Today I went and got pizza from the Kay s famous pizza and all is well until I bit into a piece of pizza with a huge piece of plastic underneath the cheese I am extremely upset . And they re closed now so nothing I can do except maybe waste my money again somewhere else lol thanks Kay s

We enjoyed the food the first time we went, even though we waited on hold for over 10 minutes, went to pick up an hour later and still waited another 20 minutes. But very understandable in these trying times. What wasn t understandable was being on hold for 32 minutes today and finally hanging up. There s not even enough people in this town to have 32 minutes worth of orders ahead of me! It takes about a minute to place an order for a pick up, so I can t imagine how I possibly could have waited 32 minutes. The food was good and we were lookin forward to trying it again, but I m not sure we will.

Kay s is a one of a kind experience nested on A serene lake with a family atmosphere and a trademarked wavy floor.

Pizza is hands down best I ve had in a while. We started with some yummy deep fried avocados and steamers both very good, enjoyed local brewery ales and finished with their thick doughy crust under a bbq pulled pork pie that did not let us down!

Celebrating 60 years! The parking lot was overflowing down the lake and no one was hesitant to walk to distance for a slice of this pie.

Kay's is the most over rated pizza place in all of upstate NY. It's not that the pizza is bad... It just isn't anything special. Refills on soda are not free... Apps are mediocre. But the people are nice. It's definitely not worth the sort of wait that tends to be there.

Apparently new owners took over but this was my first visit so I have nothing to go by. Loved this place and pizza! The coconut shrimp is fantastic. I didn t care for the Asian pizza or the calamari (which I had been craving since leaving NY), but Kay s Special is to die for. Yes, the uneven floor should be fixed, as the items were rolling off the table but it was overall a great place and fun.

Eating at Kay's is something that everyone should do. Yes, it is busy. Always.
That's only because it's so good, that everyone who knows about it checks the calendar for when it opens for the summer, and we all try and make it as often as possible.
Not many places live up to the hype.
Kay's does.
You'll hear people say "have you been to Kay's? You need to go there."
That's only because. ....well, you need to go there.
The food is great. The staff is nice and friendly. You WILL wait to get seated and you WILL wait to get your food.
I can only say that it's worth it. It really is.

Kay's has the best pizza I've ever had. I look forward to going there every year when it opens for the summer months and it never disappoints! The people are friendly and ALL of the food is great but their pizza just can't be beat. It is casual, fun and brings back wonderful memories of summers at Burden Lake.

Oh Kays Pizza. We love you!!! A local hidden away place, that everyone should know about. You cant beat their homemade crust, their "everything" pizza, 12 toppings of deliciousness , their kind and courteous service. They're not open during the winter months which makes going there a special treat in the summer. I honestly hope Kays is open for the rest of my life. Love it there and you will too. Worth the drive if you're looking for a day out or a nice drive in the fall months. Enjoy Kays!!!

First time I ever went to Kay's. I've been hearing people talk about it for a while and finally decided to give it a shot. The place was super busy on a Thursday evening at 6:30 so we figured it must be good. We waited 20 minutes for a table which was fine considering how crazy busy they were. Had a couple of beers and ordered 2 medium pizzas to feed my family of 4. Whole family agreed that the pizza was outstanding. Crust was soft with the right amount of crispiness. Perfect amount of sauce. Cheese was great and so on. Some of the best pizza we've ever had. It would have been 5 stars if it wasn't so damn hot in the place! It had to be 90 degrees in there. They were trying as I saw 6 ceiling fans running at high and every window open, but they pack the place with so many people that it didn't matter. It was a damn sauna. My wife was fine as she enjoys heat but my kids and myself were soaked in sweat by the time we left. So it's 5 stars from my wife, 4 from me because they haven't invested in air conditioning!

It was the first time I've been in years.

It was the first time I've been in years.
It was good but not what I expected after hearing from many people that it's the best.
The place is great, a little crowded and the staff were very good, friendly and efficient.
I'll try it again.

I grew up on the first lake as a kid and Kay's was a regular spot for my family. We moved out of the area almost 40 years ago, and I still make an occasional trip for some excellent pizza. The place hasn't changed much in that time, and that's a good thing. For those comparing this to Pizza Hut or Domino's, you don't know fresh ingredients. There is some similarity to a pan pizza, but it's much much better. Yes, the mushrooms are canned, but that's by design. If you like fresh mushrooms, it's one thing you won't get. The place can have somewhat of a wait, but most times they move fast - the staff has been doing this a long time. Atmosphere is great, being right between then 2nd and 3rd lakes - and it bringing my kids here brings me back to my parents taking me to Kay's.

The pizza here is one of the best in the world. Opening times are a little short and strange but I believe this is a family run business I believe. I drive past this most days on my way to work and always smells great.

Me and my family love this place. The pizza is great and it s not expensive. All of the staff is kind and outgoing. You have to catch them while they re open because they close down during winter months.

First time here and I was missing out on delicious pizza and wings!!! Opens at 3:00 and fills up quickly. There was a wait time but worth the wait. The service was fast and with a smile. Awesome!
