My husband and I had the best time. Our guides Kaili and Andrew were the best. We would do it again. The ride up is an adventure in itself.

The tubing trip was very unique and fun. Chelsea was a great guide with local knowledge and tips.

Awesome experience! Junior was very professional and entertaining.

We did the tubing tour. The tubing is through some irrigation tunnels of a (no longer functional) sugar cane plantation. Went through a few tunnels. Really interesting and cool. Nice relaxing way to spend an afternoon.

My wife and I went with the guys on our float in December and had a great time, everyone was so nice and helpful, next time we want to try the zip line course, give them a try, you won t be sorry!

Had an amazing time on this adventure. Don t let the small print scare ya away. All the warning about claustrophobic issues and risks are just a formality.
It s an easy float down and there was nothing but praise and lots of laughs from everyone who went. The tour guides were very fun and friendly.Chelsea, Keani & Keana (I know I probably didn t spell your names right but you guys were awesome!) Keani didn t let us have a dull moment on the ride up or down and he gave some of the best tips for our stay in Kauai. Guess I have to go back to check them out because we left the next day. But there were locals on the bus and they confirmed every recommendation. Had way more fun then I ever expected! Would do it again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I went on the mountain tubing adventure and it was hands down one of the best experiences we had on our honeymoon to Kauai! Our main guide, Derek, was awesome; his vast knowledge of Hawaii and sense of humor made the trip even more unique and enjoyable! The views were amazing, the history was rich, and the experience was unforgettable! The lunch at the end of the tubing trip was also delicious. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Kauai!

Tubing is amazing. Kids loved it. Rainy and sunny and relaxing. They take care of everything.

Zipline was fun....but, not $372 for two (2) people kinda fun! All were relatively short and just crossed over each other. very small area above a river gorge. Michael and Al (guides) were well trained, very professional, and humorous. The walk to the small waterfall and swimming hole afterwards was not worth it, 3/4 mile each way, very muddy. We were prepared, however, someone who does not balance well would do poorly on the narrow slippery handmade log walkways. Mosquitoes were ferocious!!! Bring spray for sure. Lots of bouncing around in an old truck. They should shorten the trip time, and lower the cost. the tour part is lame. We found another zipline for only $75.

Tuber Dan our guide made this adventure awesome. He loosened everyone up and made the trip fun. My grand daughter said Dan made the trip lots of fun. I personally like the ukulele player who played throughout the tubing down the canal. I never had anyone play Stairway to Heaven on a ukulele. The rest of the crew did a great job also. Sorry Emily that Tuber Dan rocked your tube but you got him pretty good.

We had so much fun!! it was nice & relaxing.. Our tour guide ciara was so funny, We seriously couldn't stop laughing. We loved the fresh mountain water, the beutiful scenery, the magical caves & the amazing company of random people we didnt know when starting the tour & now can just laugh with & enjoy each others company. I can honestly say, this place is a MUST.. NO JOKE!! a MUST... Its a "Kauai....THATS WHY" Thing...

Tons of fun in an amazing, natural setting. The guides were friendly, hilarious, and very informative, sharing history of the land and the irrigation ditches as well as Hawaiian legends regarding the land and people. A yummy lunch was provided as well as helmets, headlamps, and watershoes. I'd highly recommend this tour and would love to do it again!

Amazing experience! Our guide Marcus was so funny and was full of knowledge. Definitely, ask for him! The water was so relaxing too! Great trip and experience.

Definitely recommend! My husband and I had a blast on the tubing adventure. Jordan our tour guide was hilarious and gave a lot of history of the island throughout the tour. Lucky and Britt were also great to! They also did a fantastic job making sure that small children were close to there parents since you cannot hold on too the tubes.

We did the tubing adventure and absolutely loved it! Our guides, Brendan and Derek, were fantastic. We did this as a family with our 11 year old and grandparents over 70. Everyone was able to do it and had a blast. Highly recommended!

The guides and entire team are super friendly and embrace the aloha spirit to the fullest. Their primary goal is your fun, safety, and superior island experience. Also, knowledgable and eager to share cultural information. Shout out to BJ!

Did the zipline/tubing tour with Marcus and Saxton. Great guides!! Wonderful time. Took about 4 hours to do both tours. Had a nice lunch in between tours. This is a must do on Kauai.

The ride was relaxing but that s about it. We felt there was far more time spent on a bus and talking to guides rather than tubing. The guides tried to turn everything into a joke which felt forced and cheesy. I understand safety is important but this felt so restrictive that it can hardly be called an adventure. For what you actually get this is overpriced and would not recommend.

An incredibly unique experience with a fun, professional young staff. Don't worry, despite the tongue and cheek warnings, the water is pleasant, and the caves are clean and safe.

Trip was fun and the guides provided a lot history about the local area.

We had a great day with Cameron and Peter as our guides. First time zip lining and it was fantastic. The swimming in the natural pool at the bottom was so refreshing. This is a exhilarating and a must do adventure.

We had an incredible time. The guides were so much fun and helped with any fears that you might have of the water. They were able to take a group full of strangers and make them best friends before the day was over. It's a great ride from five years old to 100. Lunch was provided and very well done. Cookies were super. Be sure to tip your guides when you're finished with the tour. Because they are what makes it fun. Aloha!

The ride was lots of fun. The guides were interesting and did a great job. My only complaint...the ride was over too soon. I would definitely visit again.

We went on the tubing expedition through the caves. It was a lot of fun. Our tour guides were absolutely fantastic.he explained so much on the way up in the bus. And while we were on the tubing expedition he was really great about spreading himself amongst all of us to make sure we were all okay. Such a fun experience.

This place was awesome, very refreshing and a must do if you re visiting in Kauai. The staff was very friendly and funny! You meet up at their warehouse where they supply you with a helmet and gloves and whatever else you need then drive you up to the site. Our tour guy was Seth and he was really informative and funny, he made everyone laugh the whole time. Then you go into the water with 3 guides to help everyone along. The water felt amazing and the ride never got too crazy. It was an all around good time. Definitely a must!

Had a great time zip lining in this historic setting. Staff was fun and helpful. The scenery was awesome and the ride was not as bumpy as promised. Highly recommend this outfitter. Reasonably priced for the number of lines.

Tubing was fun, but the parts of the tour surrounding it were moderate at best and fairly cheesy at worst. Lunch was very basic, just head and cheese and meat, which is fine for the price. Better for kids.

Great fun! Beautiful scenery and a really unique experience. The crew did a great job of making this easy and fun.

100% amazing! Throughly enjoy this adventure. The staff was helpfuland knowledgeable. Booboo, Saxon, and Damien were the best and even serenaded us theough the tunnels! Would definitely do this again!

This experience was so cool! The staff was seriously so great, very hospitable, funny and kind. We had so much fun, and going through the tunnels was so amazing! I am a bit claustrophobic, but I was okay- you can see the end of the tunnel in all the tunnels except one, but the tunnels are spacious enough that I didn't feel compromised. They also take great pictures of you as you float down the river.

Had a great time with Chelsey and DJ! Awesome guides and they made sure we had a great time. Both were very knowledgeable and made the time enjoyable. DJ played the ukulele the entire time which added to the experience! Can't wait to go again

Lots of fun. Tubing through irrigation tunnels and such. Move faster than a typical lazy river, so it was a good bit more fun. The water was cool, but not cold. It kept us from getting too hot during the trip. By the end we didn't want to get out...

Spent time getting gear, getting instruction, traveling there, tubing/ rafting, eating lunch and traveling back. Total time was probably about 3 hours. Total tubing / rafting time was probably about 45 minutes.

SO much fun! Really enjoyed the tubing trip through the irrigation ditch creek and especially the tunnels. Great for all ages! The lunch at the end was very good too. Loved every minute

This place was awesome, had a great time on the tubing trip. The guides were fantastic and very authentic and down to earth...while they were stern on safety (reasonably so), they were VERY sure we still had fun! I ll go again for sure! I really appreciated Chelsea and Pancha <sp> for sharing Island History and for keeping it real!

The guide's are absolutely amazing! So much fun and they are very helpful on giving recommendations on things and places to go.

This was a fun and chill ride. It is what Disneyland tries to recreate, but this is the real deal.

Guides were passionate and knowledgeable, and the ride is incredibly relaxing. After getting in, it felt 'brisk' but quickly warmed up. Great for all ages.

Kanan and Chasen were the most fabulous guides! They bring such great vibes and energy to the tour. The tubing adventure was just that: an adventure!! The tunnels were beautiful. The lichen made it look like the tunnels were sprinkled in gold. The rain added to the float trip. Kanan and Chasen were very knowledgeable about the history of the tunnels and the surrounding area having grown up on this beautiful island. The lunch was delicious and a local bakery makes the cookies special for the tour and they were delicious. I wanted to get back on the tube and go again and again. Love it!!! Go!

Everybody was great from the time you walk in.. the tour was awsome! The guides seems to really lile what they do. They made sure your ok. Its a definite great tour. A must of your visiting.

Jessie and Kianna were awesome! So knowledgeable and friendly! Even got a little stop to see an amazing view! They also helped us out on where to find some shells on the island! Mahalo Nui Loa!

This was by far the highlight of our trip! The guides and staff are awesome and go above and beyond to make sure you re well informed and well taken care of through the entire excursion. The tubing experience was a bonus to the amazing staff. The caves and the beautiful scenery while you float in the invigorating water is one of the best experiences of my life! Super peaceful surroundings, the way nature should be. We didn t know lunch was included after tubing, so that was a nice surprise! Overall, very well organized!

My husband and I had a fantastic time on the tubing adventure! Guides Josh and V Dawg were great and knowledgeable. There was another young man who unfortunately I cannot remember his name who was quite fun as well. Wear water shoes. You won't need sunglasses as you are mostly inside the irrigation tubes which are really an engineering marvel. Loved getting to see deeper into the island which can only be seen doing this activity. Water was quite refreshing and relaxing! Everyone quickly becomes friendly and chatting as you tube with lots of laughter thrown in. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back on our next trip.

My family and I (my parents and my 10 year old daughter) had so much fun tubing down the sugar cane canals today! Our guide, RJ was energetic, fun and informative! It s clear he loves his job and is very good at what he does. It was definitely a neat excursion and I highly recommend it if you re visiting Kaua i! :)

Amazing experience from beginning to end. Tubing in a beautiful setting. Through nature and caves. With the best guides, Drea and Sean, who made it incredibly safe and comfortable but were so informative, fun and hysterical all the while. Highly recommended!

SO much fun! KBA was organized, the guides were informative and engaging, the information was interesting and useful. The ride was unimaginably fun and I can t believe I haven t done this before! Even the lunch was just right. You can t take a camera (unless it s water proof) but they have photographers strategically placed and excellent photos are available for sale. What a trip! I will recommend it to all my friends and I will do it again too!

Heard about this in an online social media post. Wasn't available when we were on the island in 2015. Have to say: The staff are AMAZING. Price was reasonable. Included: helmet and headlamp, ride to the property, tubes, picnic lunch, and ride back. On the way out you are transported in an open-side truck so you can enjoy the beautiful property. On the way back you are driven in vans (keeps you warm). You are tubing down an old sugar plantation irrigation system, through open canals and several tunnels hand-dug circa 1870. Highly recommend this company and adventure.

Super fun. Go for the facial! Jess and her sister were very enthusiastic and deserve a good pay raise. Ese` added another whole layer of interesting. Nice local information can be had here. Don't forget the gift shop and to go online to buy your photos!!!

Good for all ages over 5. Not for adrenaline junkies, but still very fun.

Was a lot of fun riding the tubes through the canals and the staff was a lot of fun. Our lunch break was good and plentiful. Would be 5 stars but the guide was in charge of guiding my 5 year old down the tunnel and he let him smash his tail bone on a drop. Could have been a lot worse.

This was a great adventure for our entire family. We had 9 in our family party from age 70 to 5 and they all had a blast experiencing the island in this very unique way. Our tour guides, Wyatt and Tanner, were fantastic and entertaining. We highly recommend Kauai Backcountry Tubing!

We had a large party (about 18 people) attend one of the times for the tubing, and couldn't have had a better time. Our guide (Cinzia - sp?) was incredibly personable and funny, which made the bus ride to the plantation super enjoyable. The rapids were my favorite parts, although I may have accidentally kicked a friend in the head (sorry!). The lunch afterwards was great too!

This is definitely an experience not to miss if you're traveling in Kauai, and a relatively good deal compared to the expensive other options. Give it a try!!

I strongly recommend the water tubing for anyone wanting to explore Kauai. The tour guides were charismatic, the scenery was breathtaking and the experience is one of a kind. As you flow down the refreshing, crisp river you are surrounded by the beauty of Hawaiian nature. As the rain gently falls, the river guides you into tunnels with water droplets that glisten like diamonds. When you exit the tubes you are served a great lunch and if you are lucky you may also have a friendly jungle kitty to join you.

I recommend booking this tour for a excellent afternoon.

It was one of the major highlights of my vacation! Maddie and Maka are amazing guides - friendly and funny! The tubing was FANTASTIC!!!!

Nice refreshing water, great on a warm day. Lazy river portion was relaxing and wish it was longer for a quick nap.

We did both the Zipline and the tubing tours. Drake and Michael on the ziplines helped us have a great time and we would definitely come back to KBA. Joel on the tubing tours had a great sense of humor and also gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations.

Kiana was a terrific tour guide making the trip to and from the tunnels enjoyable. Gave local insight to the island and generally made everyone comfortable with each other on the tour. Had a nice island relaxed feel to the tour with a spectacular experience through the river tunnels. A definite do while on the best island Kauai.

Wyatt was a great guide. Very informative about island and plantation history. Great resource for activities, all types of food options etc.

The tubing was refreshing and a fun experience. Lunch provided in an open area allowed for conversation among fellow tube riders.

The caves were very interesting riding through. At times I felt like a human pinball bouncing from side to side off the rocks in the inner cave walls. Is not like you can steer and innertube, just go with the flow. It's a good time.
