Best hotel... I stay here for 3 days. very good ambience.... supportive staff.. safe hotel.... room was clean and neat. must visit

Ambience is good.. however washroom infra was too old and was not as expected

After spending so much money for the Company meeting which was attended by more than 600 employees, there was no AC in the Meeting Hall. Everyone were fanning themselves. Even the top Management on the Podium, were sweating and wiping for the entire meeting period.
The High Tea that was ordered was not ready by the time mentioned. Almost half of the Staff left without having it as they were all vexed up waiting in the queue for 30mins and finally knowing that all the menu items ran out..!! And were asked to wait further.
I, one among those who were not so lucky, had some Tea and left.
Never expected such hospitality from a well known name in the town.
Need to revamp the people responsible for this.

This place is quite inside from the main road. It's near to the necklace road. That's Somajiguda Road. This is really a peaceful place to stay. The hotel is not enormous but it is sufficient to accommodate at least 2000 guests. The best way to save the money.

Good things first! Katriya Hotel is situated at the heart of the city and easily accessible from Raj Bhavan Road. Hotel has a large number of rooms, banquet hall and meeting rooms, two restaurants, travel desk, concierge services and most other facilities you expect from a big hotel. It has a large lobby space and ample parking space. Security staff appeared vigilant and polite.

The food in the restaurant was enjoyable. The buffet breakfast had an interesting spread covering different cuisines and we enjoyed the Andhra specialities the most.

Buffet lunch was equally good with Hyderabadi Biryani taking the star position!

On the flip side, we found the carpets, linen, furniture and other items in the room in a jaded condition. Plumbing and fittings in the bathroom didn't measure up to our expectations.

Management standards need improvement, for example, on a few attempts, there was no one to pick up the phone on dialling some hotel services!

Btw, opening of the main door of our room with the swipe card was a tricky affair. Our friends in other rooms had also experienced difficulties.

Well, I hope the hotel manager who may read this message will take my comments in the right spirits and take corrective actions to uplift this beautiful property to the level it deserves to be. Best of luck.

As I have seen the reviews but I have booked the room for my brother after searching it's website which is maintained very properly but the experience in the hotel room is too bad the bathrooms are worst and the hotel room is too small and is not like as shown in the website so dear guest don't book this hotel as per my view.

Due to covid not fully operational. Other wise it's a good hotel.

Cleanliness sucks... Leaking washrooms , dirty walls and unclean carpets.. this place is falling apart.

Location is good. Rooms were bad. Room service is still more bad. Phone operator is still very bad. This experience may be because of discounted booking done through third party travel website. Even though the people working there were not up to the mark.

Good location but its time for renovation. Food is below average.

Location is in prime but not easily accessible ,despite of being a 5* hotel ,I didn't find similar ambiance, service in the hotel , It should try to maintain even more beautiful and try to attract the guests

Been on a business trip. Worst ever. The hotel staff is least courteous and the rooms are shabby. Definitely not worth staying there. I heard from the hotel staff that they have been working for the last 24 hours without a break! Never ever book this.

To be honest after looking the hotel outlook I thought I wouldn't be the perfect place to me check in but I've changed my mind after looking the hotel interior and response of the staff was so good

But the fares of meals was a quite high it would be better the prices are minimised

Worst hotel ever seen.Wise men should refrain visiting this place.No body will listen to your request for house keeping,room service,cleaning,drinking water. Air condition,TV ,fridge and tea kettle in room are having ornamental value,nothing works.Even you meet GM or VP of this hotel and complain ,do not expect any solution.

Not very impressed with the infrastructure as well as services.
When I check into my room the toilet did not have tissue paper and there were no towels in the bathroom
They had a study table but there was no chair so you could not use it if you had any work to do on a laptop

Poor services dropped a message in google play as well... Asked for hot water for bath hot a glass of water.... And after chasing of 5 hours got water in wash room.

Awesome place to stay , its kinda center of the city , so u can travel here from any part of the city, rooms are neat n clean staff is friendly n disciplined calm n peaceful place, only thing sucks is the check in formalities take a bit time ...

I attended a seminar here, the ambiance was really good even though the exterior seemed a bit old.
The food was good. The staff were quite welcoming.

Worst service i have ever seen. Non of the staff bothers for your phone calls to desk or room services. Lack of cleanliness. I don't recommend atleast persons with family to stay here.

Didn t have a good experience. Bedding had hidden stains. Not everything on the menu is available and the staff took more than an hour to get a lunch order of mutton curry and butter garlic naan. When I called after an hour instead of being apologetic they said it had only been 15mins since the order. Had to return the naan because it was not as per order. It took half an more to send the right thing. Another 15mins after that for onion and lime. Food at breakfast was not upto quality too. Toilet seat chipped. The only availbale electric socket hidden under the table. Not sure why.

It's glory is waning. The hotel wore a deserted look. Occupancy appears to be very low. Maybe it's experiencing PARK HOTEL effect. Let's hope Katriya Hotel regains it's glory and prosperity.
