Is beautiful at the autumn fair Basel in the evening

Was during the day before 1 August fireworks. Nice well-kept facility.

Great space for all sorts of displays. Went to see Carnival floats. So much great creativity. Glad they are restoring the old post buildings.

We were there for the Basel Tattoo. The barracks could not be more suitable.

On the small basel side, a green area and an area with shopping areas on the streets full of cafes.

There is a collection of drug dealers always on the way plus there is no norm every penner let in there the drinks prices are ridiculously high and the alcohol used is the cheapest from the discounter

Card payment is not possible you get no bill or so all black money there
The music is different in each hall jaa!

For each of the seriousness is there out of place
Not to mention going there with a woman a no-go at the audience

The event is beautifully designed here, the tattoo in Basel is very interesting and live. Is very popular once a year for lovers of bagpipe music. Always has a lot of people there.

Very nice barracks. Not seen a lot of buildings because been at the Tatoo Militaire Festival and it took up all the space.

We were soooooo thrilled to see such a great show live. It had been partly very emotional. Anyway, we ordered tickets for the 2020 again

We were at the Tatoo in the barracks area. I think this is very nice for the scenery and it fits very well there. The mood was great and we were allowed to enjoy again a super beautiful program. This event enlivens the city and enchants many in Scottish mood!

Great place for concerts and drinks, one of the best in Basel

Excellent Off the Beat Jazz evening - a novel anomaly. We stumbled upon this by chance when exploring the local area around the river front in Basel. The Kaserne proved a good venue and the quality of the music was superb.

Great show Basel Tattoo! Very difficult to get out of the venue.

The show was meega, especially for musicians. The "stadium" was also very good but sometimes a bit dirty. Otherwise, I was very satisfied.

The tattoo was absolute class which I visited there.

Super awesome Tatoo. Fantastically beautiful unforgettable. It was a pity that if you were on foot the signs were missing. Luckily we met very nice and helpful passers-by in Basel who helped us.

The barracks Basel is a building in Basel built in 1863. Today it is a cultural center for the free theater, dance and performance scene as well as for concerts in the field of popular music. Own productions and guest performances take place in three event rooms for a total of 1,700 visitors, and the Basel barracks also supports young artists. The company is run by the Kulturwerkstatt Kaserne association and receives state subsidies. Connected are restaurants (restaurants, bars).
Major events such as the Basel Autumn Fair or the Basel Tattoo take place in the open space of the inner courtyard (formerly the parade ground). Artists' studios and the Klingental exhibition space are housed in the former monastery church, and a cultural center is being built in the head building (the actual former barracks building).

We were during the "Basel Tattoo" (music show) at this venue.
The whole thing was organized professionally, with everything that goes with it.
Around the barracks was built a small festival area with various stalls, there was taken care of the physical well-being.
Everything was very clean. The tattoo itself was a true feast for fans of military bands, but especially for fans of Scottish bagpipe music.

Also this year we were allowed to enjoy the Military Tattoo in the barracks.
The various food stalls with drinks are awesome. Thanks to all volunteer working club members who can earn such a ... amount for the club treasury.

Interesting location, young, sometimes crazy audience, second floor too much bass and very smoky, large floor with very bad layout as unpleasant highs.
Service OK, but at peak times overwhelmed. Toilets were clean, but were not cleaned during the evening. Timetable of the DJ's was not announced in advance and not kept.
All in all, supposedly one of the top addresses for high-quality electronic music. In international comparison a disappointment. There is more, boys and girls!

Basel Tattoo a healing for those who like dance and music!

We went to the tattoo. Well organized, you can have a lot of company in the environment.

Multiple used old barracks areal with playground, greenfield, cafe, bar, theater, eventhall, culture lounge 'parterre one', gym, kindergarten, bocing club, studios, mosque, exhibition rolms and some more else

Was there for the tattoo. The tattoo was very nice again, reconstruction of the barracks will change and destroy many things
