A beautiful place in Basel. Right next to the Rhine is this historic place where the Basel Tattoo takes place every year.

Attended the Basel Tattoo. Very electric atmosphere with the colours and marching bands. An annual event worth recommending

Great venue for shows seems there are no bad seats. We saw the Basel Tattoo and the venue and show were amazing!

Visit on the occasion of Tattoo Basel 2018;
sensational "backdrop" for such an occasion, absolutely recommendable.

We were at the Basel Tattoo, it was fantastic. Perfect formations, beautiful music, contemplative scenery.

A grandiose and very well organized show.
We adore each passing of the military groups, the dancers, the singers, the bikers and the animation.

Easily accessible toilettes, well organized food and drinks, supermarkets close by.
Special entrance for people with wheelchairs. For the show, they have a reserved space.
Attention to parking, prefer the proposal of the Tatoo site, do not leave vehicles in places prohibited or blue zone without card, the car can be totally blocked!

Our visit of the tattoo on 28.07.um at 17.30 clock was an experience with goose bumps! We enjoyed the performances very much. Only very poorly to describe. Must have experienced yourself. Or have a look at YouTube. Two things were negative. We had booked 4 seats in one of the skyboxes. Row 2. For the money you can certainly expect some comfort (except free drinks). Thank god we had sunshine. Unfortunately, directly in the face and over two hours. There was sweating like in a sauna announced. A shading system would have done wonders. Unfortunately, subjects were not enough. And then just the "second" series. For a place in the box everyone has paid the same money. Unfortunately, the view is only very limited when normal sized guests in front of you. Here's my thanks to the couple in front of me, who sat down so that my field of view was minimally limited. The paragraph from level one to level two was lower than that from level two to level three. Should be considered next year maybe. But thanks again to the groups for the great music and choreographies - especially at these temperatures.

The tattoo spectacle takes place here every year, the area is quite large, it is outdoors, there is seating at an event, and what is really great or great, right on the street is a tram stop that is very practical. Because with the tram in Basel you are much faster than with the car and you don't need a parking space. The trams, written German tram, run regularly in a short time, look for them in the evening.

KASERNE do it all, Bar, Live Music, International Show, show ... the Building looking good and the park in the Middle is a great place to Chill !

Right cool location.
Has something for everyone. From rock to hip-hop. Eat during the day and in the evening until death is drunk at night. 10 minutes from the main station by tram 8.

Yesterday again experienced the "Basel Tattoo". Was not quite as spectacular as the last few years. Nevertheless, an absolute recommendation. An absolute must for fans of bagpipe music.

Very cool theater. Young Theater Basel: "Don't feed the troll" was unique. I liked that very much.

We have experienced a beautiful performance. With geese skin and tears in our eyes, we have witnessed the troops of the bagpipe players. It was the first time but certainly not the last time. We will be back.

A very nice place for the Basel Tattoo. The ambience with the barracks inner courtyard and the castle entrance, the big open-air stage.

The Tattoo parade is just great. We enjoyed drumband festival. We saw grups from Germany, Dutch, UK, China, Scotland, Australia, Canada and Switzerland. Worth visiting.

Children's festival open air lots of good things and lots of entertainment for children. Unfortunately, this is an absolute hype in advertising, kids on Coop trim just like Migros does. Plenty of insurance in attendance The concert is a day of fun and games in the background

TATTOO BASEL @KASERNE BASEL: A MUST !!!!! That must have been experienced !!!!
