I was at the tattoo, the performance was fantastic! On the barracks area were many food and beverage stalls, where you are served very well. If you love Scottish music, this idea is only to be recommended.

A great scenery, great show. The only negative is that there were only 4 toilets for several hundred women. I got up for 25 minutes!
Barracks ... a leftover from quite earlier times ... Attraction for young and old ... in summer there is always a lot going on ... especially when the BASEL TATTOO rekindles the musical diversity ...

Diversity in programming. The Culture of the Show that this Hall is developing. The welcoming and dynamic team. We have received a Booklet with information about the Institution, some courses on Basler Deutsch and the practical places in Basel.
The kaserne is the place where the Basel tattoo takes place every year it is an amazing spectacle which is definitely worth seeing!!! In fall there are a some rides and food stands here because of the ongoing herbstmesse, the rides are more for older people.
Nice concert hall, very good sound system, unfortunately it can get very hot. Even the band thought it was too hot. The ventilation should definitely be improved.

We were here for the Basel Tattoo and the barracks offers a gigantic stage. As a festival - location only to be recommended. This includes a top organization. What more do you want!
Was back at the tattoo this year and it was better than last year.
Always a good place to be! There is a wide field for Kids and chilly restaurants at the side of it for the parents:-)

It depends very much on the connection. If concerts take place in the small hall (I think the riding stables are called this) and they are sold out, it is unbearable. This is so full that you have absolutely no more space. Relatively well-known artists also sometimes appear there, which I don't understand and think is a shame. I think the drinks are very expensive for a concert. Staff friendly, however. Selection limited but okay.

Basel Tattoo great atmosphere, great sound, just awesome! You just have to have experienced! I saw it for the first time Friday, but not bextbest the last time! It rained in torrents, but since free ponchos were distributed, it did not matter!
Very nice place to play hu with children, or just relax on the meadow. The restaurants and buvettes right next door provided snacks, food or just a refreshing drink.
Lively place with a good atmosphere. Bars, a restaurant, a large open space and three event halls are all part of the old "barracks".

Tattoo Basel; a great event! Well organized and price / performance tiptop! Always happy! If you arrive by car, it is helpful to solve the parking ticket in advance! Tattoo celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2020. From the end of November 2019 can be booked.
We were there for the Basel Tattoo. It was just Wow. It was worth it. Who wants to do something special should definitely go there. The event was super organized, planned almost to the second. The event in the barracks was really great.
