This is our second time dealing with Karl Chevrole...

This is our second time dealing with Karl Chevrolet and Gene Klein. Both experiences have exceeded our expectations and the only surprises in the process were pleasant ones. We feel that everyone we worked with went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied with our vehicles and service.

Our salesman Todd in the commercial division has the best customer service that I've ever experienced. I won't consider buying a vehicle anywhere else. Our experience working with Karl Chevrolet the past few years has been excellent and we intend to keep doing business with them for many years to come.

I was disappointed with the experience I had. I went in to look at used vehicles. I explained to the sales man what I wanted and the guy took me to his desk and we sat down. He then looked at his Carlist and told me the at there was nothing in my price range that he could offer. He was to an extent rude and told me they wouldn't have anything like that. I told him that I have seen vehicles on there website before in my range of what I'm looking for. He then told those are unlikely and he cant help me. I then had to ask him to take my information in case one came in And he reluctantly agreed. I then also had to ask him for his card in case I saw one online. He clearly had no desire to help me and my request wasn't unrealistic! Never heard from and ended up finding exactly what wanted Elsewhere.

We had a fantastic buying experience here. It was the most friendly and efficient experience we've ever had. The sales person truly listened to our needs, matching us with the perfect vehicle at an amazing price to get us out of negative equity in our trade and getting our payment exactly where we needed it to be. They were able to locate us an interest rate that was dramatically better than we found at a different dealership. They made sure that we had the gap insurance we requested while staying within our payment constraints, and while they made sure we were aware of additional options, they were not pushy AT ALL about warranties or additional things that we declined. They took the time to show us their beautiful service facility, explained every feature of the vehicle, and still got us taken care of so fast that even my toddlers didn't get impatient. Thank you.

When we pulled into the lot we were not swarmed by a bunch of sales guys. Mark Vangorkham was our salesman. He was very knowledgeable and walked the lot with us to show us options instead of just making us look at a computer screen. He was very polite, not pushy, and up front with information. We didn't have to play a negotiation game. He gave us a fair offer right from the get go that was competitive with other dealerships. He didn't give us attitude for looking at options on other lots. We drove to Omaha an hour and a half from our house to look at a truck at Woodhouse. The sales rep there was AWFUL and rude and the truck (2016 GMC Denali) was not a nice ride. We left that lot and drove straight back to Karl's Chevrolet (2hours away) and purchased our truck a 2017 Chevy Silverado. Customer service goes a long way. Our truck went through a full inspection and was delivered to our house when it was ready. The in house finance guy was great and not pushy with offers. He laid out the details and didn't push us after we declined. I would highly recommend buying a vehicle from Karls.

will not buy another car from Karls .. I have had to deal with situation after situation. from the get go. their service is nothing to brag about, they had my car for 4 days and could not"Duplicate" my problem, I finally take the mechanic with me on a drive and 1 block down the road guess what happened, yeppp, the issue duplicated itself, this after they told me it was the winter roads, then after having my car for the 4 days that they did, when they go to fix my one problem, they discover an oil leak, hmmmmm didnt look very hard the 4 days they had it. then I got a dirty rental car, asked for a car wash thinking surly they will go wash it for me .. NOPE they handed me the coupon and said there you go.. would not do that to a guy I bet. I have had things break left and right, I also took my car for oil change at the recommended mileage from THEIR sticker, guy calls me back saying its not covered because I brought my car in too soon, again .. I brought it in when the sticker told me toooo, yeah Im not impresses at all ..

1 to 2hr wait everytime. Very inefficient at the quick lube center, there is actually nothing quick about it so not really sure why they call it that. Everybody just stands around and talks. We have several fleet vehicles so I'm in there often and it's always the same. Whoever runs this needs to get a clue or a different job.

The car buying process was very smooth. There were no issues with communication. I received prompt responses from everyone I worked with which is very appreciated. I was offered a fair deal for my trade in. I purchased the car (the nicest/newest vehicle I have ever owned) and it was delivered to my house in Minnesota two days later by Brad, who was a pleasure to work with. He drove my new car up to me and drove my trade in back to the dealership. Troy in accounting was also very kind and helpful and reassured me not to worry about getting to the DMV, because the title work is being taken care of by another company, which is included in the cost of the car. Best car buying experience yet! I definitely recommend Karl's Chevrolet. :)

I was looking for a new vehicle and so I checked ...

I was looking for a new vehicle and so I checked out Karl's Chevrolet in Ankeny. I spoke with Michael Allner, and he was so nice! Not pushy at all. Which I really appreciated. He was very knowledgeable and found a bunch of different discounts that would apply to the vehicle I was looking at. I recommend Michael if you're going to Karl's.

We had a Great experience. The Gentleman that helped us was very courteous and polite, he really helped sell the truck. He told us all about it , he told us we could make it the way we wanted it, and we did. This was the first time I have ever bought a Chevy, I have bought 5 New Fords before this. I really want you to know how happy we are with this truck. I can honestly say if it wasn't for Kyle, I would be driving a Ford. Thanks Kyle, i am very happy with the decision you helped me make! We bought a truck from here and Carl and his team went above our expectations! We are very satisfied with our vehicle. If your looking to buy a vehicle from a honest loyal car dealership that you can trust then I would purchase from these guys. We worked with Chad, Tyler, and even Carl himself. Great people and great service.

My fuel pump needed replaced and not sure why it d...

My fuel pump needed replaced and not sure why it didn't fall under the 5 year or 100,000 miles powertrain warranty but it didn't. Being on long term disability I couldn't afford to get it fixed ( almost $1000) let alone pay the $127.15 for diagnostics. But I told them I will pay for the diagnostics and pick up my car and drive it until the fuel pump went completely out. About 20 minutes later Karl's called me back and asked if I could pay the amount for the diagnostics of 127.15 (after tax) then everything else would be covered. I said yes I could absolutely do that. I've always had a great experience with Karl's with all of their department's but this time they went way beyond my expectations of a dealership. Clearly why my family has been doing business with them for so many years.

Karl Moyer is a man of his word. In business it's still nice to know people still care. Karl is a person that is passionate about making sure his customers are happy with their purchase. It's refreshing to know that when Karl speaks his staff listens. The whole staff was excellent to deal with in transitioning into my new truck. Everything was great. Expectations were met. I can honestly say that along with a business stand point, and on a personal stand point I will continue to do business with Karl Chevrolet. Karl Moyer is still very much in control of his business, and when he is there at the dealership he answers his calls, and most importantly. He listens... Thank You Karl too you, and to your staff for working hard on getting the exact same truck I had before.

Since my purchase I have referred may family and friends to Jake and they have all had similar positive experiences!

Kar's Chevrolet is the place we go for service on ...

Kar's Chevrolet is the place we go for service on our GM vehicles. I purchased my 2008 Silverado here and have had nothing but positive experiences. Their staff is both friendly and professional.

Their prices are reasonable (for a dealership). The quality of their work is extremely good. Overall, Karl's employees do what they say they will do and have my trust.

Customer is treated like a number. No support or back-up when taking issues to the manufacturer. Unprofessional repairs and lack of responsibility when self-inflicting damage to customer's vehicles. Will never return, and will ensure every friend, family member, and neighbor is aware of Karl's poor practices.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. My dealer Joe is the best, doing everything he could to get me the car I wanted. He made the whole experience very easy. This is my third car from Karl and I'll definitely be going back again.

Friendly service, excellent work. However, I sat in my truck for over 20 minutes after my oil change was complete waiting for my paperwork to pay. The employees were standing around talking while I was trying to get their attention. There was no reason why I was left to sit there for so long.

Recently bought a Silverado 1500 2015 from Karl Chevrolet and the transmission went out in it about a month but they were SUPER generous and bought and installed it for FREE!! They sent a tow truck to my apartment within an hour and sent me a loaner car. They ordered the part and within the next day they had the transmission installed and ready ready to roll. Thank you for everything you have done for me and I will definitely be buying another vehicle from you guys when this one gets older! Thank you

Brought vehicle in to have side detection system fixed on my 2015 Impala. Waited for 2 hours only for them to tell me they dont even have the parts to fix this which are back ordered. The technician said it could be 2 weeks or 2 months before they have the parts. I have the extended warrenty and was told by the gentleman who checked me in that morning it was covered and was then told by another person he didnt know if it was covered.

Took my car in for a minor oil leak and they cause...

Took my car in for a minor oil leak and they caused a major oil leak. I didn't realize it was spraying oil all over until I got to work. Now they refuse to make it right and replace the engine after it was completely drenched in oil. This happened last May and I have had it back to them at least 8 times since and it is still not the same. So basically I'm just waiting for the next thing to go wrong with my car because of their mistake. I never had any issues with it until this happened. Karl Chevrolet is no longer our family's "dealer for life."

I had spoken with Dylan previously with questions regarding issues I was having with my truck. It was clear he either wasn't listening or clearly is not mechanically inclined. Then when I brought the truck in unfortunately I had to deal with Dylan again. I got tried of repeating my truck issues to correct him because he clearly wasn't understanding clear directions and obviously wasn't listening. Then to top it off them amount of the labor rate was exorbantly outrageous. I did speak with Joel and he made an adjustment which was appreciated but it was still on the lines of a large commercial truck and not a 1/2 ton passenger truck. It's sad you treat a long time customer like this.
