First timer! I was really impressed with Dry Falls Brewing. I'll definitely go back!
This brewery has a wonderful selection of craft beers, all brewed in house! A beer for everyone even people that aren't fans of most beers, they have one for you. Great and friendly staff, the bartenders all have a wonderful attitude and genuinely like what they do. The owners are excellent and always have time to talk to each guest and make them feel welcome.
This is the brewery that I wish I lived near. First off they have great parking, a HUGE amount of space, a passionate and friendly staff, I saw a food truck parked outside, and of course BEER! The selections are across the board and im sad I didn't get to try more as time was limited, and driving was required.
The setup is awesome, they have huge bay doors that they open up and a nice breeze was blowing through the whole building during my visit. There were TV's so I think they might also put games on? Not 100% sure on that. Darts were in the back room, and I spied some corn hole boards. Also right when I was leaving, a band was setting up.
One of the things that stood out most was their event calendar (wish I took a better picture of it). You can kind of see it in one of the pictures, but its not your usual sign board. This thing is massive and hangs over the door to their brew house. Its PACKED with things, from bands, to food events, and even their beer releases (I personally think its awesome that they show their customers when different beers are coming).
I got there right at opening before business hit, and got to meet and talk with the owner. He was pretty cool, and like the beer was very much "go big or go home" (seriously, most of the beers were higher gravity. Many were above 7% ABV, and I think I saw a 10.something as well. Pretty sure I didn't see a single one on the list below like 5.4) and already talking about plans to start canning,
However as you can see from the pictures its very bare. The main rooms are stark white walls, with some wood paneling behind the bar. While everything was fantastic, it felt...empty. Some decorations, art, plants...or something to add some character would be great. But that's just my opinion as I prefer a more...eclectic/cozy "feel". Tho if business is what they say it is, im sure its plenty cozy with all the people that pack the place every night.
If your in the area and enjoy a good beer (I cant comment on the food truck as I had already eaten) I strongly suggest you stop by. I will most certainly be going back. Also no I wasn't paid to write this, its just not very often I go somewhere and am blown away with what a business has to offer, and felt I should give some more detail. They could do some really cool things with that space, and I hope to go back on a night have another band.
Amazing beer. When we got here it wasn t busy so I felt safe. Ended up leaving earlier than planned because NOBODY was social distancing and NOBODY had on a mask. Good beer isn t worth the risk of lives. The rules aren t that hard to follow yet it was blatantly
Obvious nobody here including staff cared.
Evan, Jeff, Becky, Michelle, Liz and Megan are the best people out here. Mnt. Delay is the best, the bride prefers Paddle Faster..I feel like I m at home with great friends!!
Good local craft beer made by cool people in a nice environment
Great band (Mojomatic tonight) and great blonde beer
The beer was good, but lacking carbonation across the board. The nitrogen was also low pressure so the nitro stout may as well have been carbonated. The bartenders did an excellent job a keeping the line moving.
Loved the relaxed atmosphere, very friendly staff, & great band! Wish they would of had more finger foods to choose from. Beer tasted good w a large selection.
Awesome brewery with some of the best beers I ve had!! Great building in an old auto garage with glass doors that let in so much light and create a really cool and eclectic ambiance.
Great vibes and a good selection of beers to choose from. When we visited from out of town, there was always a food truck there to eat from. Some nice outdoor seating as well. The staff was super nice, will definitely be coming back on my next trip through Hendersonville.
Great brewery with friendly staff, awesome beer, and competitive prices. This is the East Coast version of Sierra Nevada just opened several weeks ago. A must see in Western, NC.
This has become our favorite weekly date night destination. We pick up eats on the way in or partake from one of the many selections of food trucks regularly present. Great beer with new selections always appearing and the staff always make us feel welcome We always come away glad we found this place!
Great atmosphere and the service was great! Be back again!
My friends and I decided to have a birthday party and went to Dry Falls Brewery to celebrate. What a great idea. This is the most wonderful place to drop in for a beer or just go out to have fun. Friendly, exceptionally clean, beer for everyone's taste. Dry Falls is pet and children friendly. A great place for events, we brought our own birthday cake and pizza. The decor is so beautiful and how impressive the owners and staff are. I would give many more stars if possible. I did take pictures because I wanted to make sure you could see the owners and beauty of Dry Falls. If you have not been you need to go and have the great experience we had.
Friendly staff and good beer. I had the Mt. Delay IPA and husband had the Paddle Faster Pale Ale. They have a large room in back where they have private events and put the children. Dogs aloud and there is a water bowl for them. We didn't eat but the food from the food truck looked amazing.
Dry Falls WAS my favorite Hendersonville brewery, but I hadn't been in awhile due to COVID. Stopped in the other day and was surprised to see tables close together and maybe half of the people that were not at their tables were maskless. Other area breweries I have been to in recent weeks were taking proper precautions without ruining the fun vibe. Guess I'll be sticking to those.
Kayla and Sarah were phenomenal. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Will be back soon!
Nice place to visit but I won't come frequently. The cider prices are way too high. $6 for 8oz glass. It should be a pint for that price. Beer prices are ok for a brewery.
Great selection of beers and fine selection of food trucks. Music on Friday and Saturday nights.
Nice place to spend time visiting with friends and listening to music.
Great location and great brews! Friendly owners and staff. Near food places and they have a food truck sometimes. They really love what they do!
Great Beer. Fun! Good
food trucks!
First off the beer is fantastic. Such a good variety to taste or hoist a pint. They do a great job with their fruit beers. Good location and great atmosphere. Food trucks typically on site.
Service tends to be slow even when they aren t crowded and the beer is flat.
Spacious, clean, friendly nice selection of beverages. The drink I had was flavorful while still well rounded, unfortunately the beer was a little flat. After checking though other reviews it seems like this is a common occurrence. The lack of carbonation does affect the overall experience of the drink. 5 out of 5 on the venue overall, 4 out of 5 on the drink. Excited to see live music at this venue in the future.
100% thumbs up! Tried a few different styles, and none of them had that extreme over the top back end bitterness that so many small breweries tend to have, what I call microbrewery after taste aka MBAT!!! And no, that isn't the hops causing that!!! So far there are 4 breweries in Hendo, 2 of which are too high on the MBAT scale and I can see Dry Falls Brewing equaling or exceeding many of the breweries to our north. I look forward to returning to Dry Falls Brewing to try some new styles, let's hope they keep mixing it up! Staff was excellent! Good luck, Dry Falls!
I tried 8 of their beers. All were excellent. Service was fantastic. They don't serve food but a food truck was right outside and the food truck owner also provided great service. There were about 12 of us in our group and everyone enjoyed their food. Brewery was clean and tables were spread out enough that you didn't feel crowded. Would highly recommend.
Good variety of beer styles on tap. Friendly service, nice size taproom. Only negative was a muddy/ sloppy parking lot.
The staff and owner (Evan) are exceptional. You feel like part of the family as soon as you walk in the door. Every beer I have tasted has exceeded my expectations! If you are a craft beer junkie, looking to expand your palette, or even brand new to the craft beer scene, I highly highly recommend Dry Falls Brewing Company!!!
Amazing music by Billingsley , great beer spacious layout, food trucks parked out front, half the building is made of garage door so it's open air.. all around great place to listen to live music and have a cold beer..
These guys have the best selection of tasty brews. Met Duncan in Sylva when i was going to WCU, he is now their brewer, and boy is the staff here great. Live music on weekends, D&D nights on tuesdays i believe, can get crowlers and growlers. They also are still growing and have exceeded their 1 year expectation within the month they opened. Cant beat the great location and atmosphere!! Keep it Crafty!!
Nice to have a new Brewery close to home. Nice selection of beers
It is spacious, lots of seating. Nice to have a good food truck there tonight.
Awesome beers and large selection! Kayla is a splendiferous bar tender! The logo is rad, stickers are free! They have a fun monthly calendar with new releases every Monday. Plus there's a yummy food truck! It's a must!
I do believe they have the best beer out of the many many breweries in HVL!
Very nice place to sit with friends, and reminisce ,the people were very attentive and friendly,we will be back
Nice space, but weak beer. We got two flights. I got an IPA flight, 4 different IPA's and all were weak, not a one hoppy and all were generally tasteless. My wife likes ciders and she was disappointed with every choice. She commented they tasted watered down. I love beer and have never been to a brewery where I tasted 8 beers total and didnt like one.
Great beer selection..great location..very nice owners and staff..my new favorite!
Best brewery in Hendersonville! If you have no tried Dry Falls drop everything and do it now!
Nice place to hangout and drink good beer. Live music is great. RAPHAEL is a great talentd musician. The place was packed on Friday night. My only complaint was that there were too many children running around past 8 PM.
I was impressed by the low prices and fantastic selection of brews. The limited release cherry vanilla milk stout was surreal. The service was also very friendly and welcoming. Check this place out.
I went to allot of breweries and tried allot of beers. In my opinion this one had the best beer.Bad juju and blushing otter are deliciously fantastic. Their prices where the best and the staff are some good people.
In the last few weeks the diacetyl level has become overwhelming in several of the beers making them barely drinkable, not as bad prior to that. Many possible sources: they ought to look into it.
Rode up from Seneca to have a tasty beer. Great place, great selection of beers. Bar tenders are really friendly & dogs are allowed : )
Plenty of space outside eating nice atmosphere clean good beer clean bathroom.
Service was fast and friendly. The place was clean and spacious. Flavorful beer, but could use more carbonation. All of it was on the flat side, including the nitro stout which should have had more body and thick creamy head.
Great place! Very friendly and knowledge staff. My wife wasn't sure what to get, they asked what she liked and she got a flight of beers they recommend and she enjoyed them all! Family friendly with a food truck out back. Definitelyrecommend checking this place out.
This is a fun place if I ever saw one. Highly recommended. This place is great for Hendersonville!
Great place with a nice vibe. I tried 2 of their beers and both were excellent. I am so glad Haus Heidelberg brought me here. Will be going back.
Great local brewery that is soon to be must stop on all visitors list. As a local, it's on my list!
We ve been to Dryfalls on several occasions and have always had a great time. The staff is wonderful and the patrons are really friendly too. We love that they welcome dogs and it is a family friendly atmosphere. It is a great place to relax and enjoy a cold brew after a long day. The food trucks they have are yummy too!
Initially I was intrigued by the fact this used to be an automotive body shop, based on the name and reviews I was sure I could find an excellent porter on their menu.
The entire establishment is an open floor plan and the old shop area offers nothing but natural light through the bay doors. It appeared as if they also had a section of the building that could be used for private parties, etc.
All of the seating were mainly high top tables, they have a large bar which you could stool up to as well, but my preference is the less traveled section. Since the entire area is wide open the sound travels maybe a little too well, but since we were still able to hold a conversation without yelling I was happy.
I was able to find one of the best porters I have found yet, this porter was so smooth and tasty that it could be dangerous. I recommend an Uber ride back and forth. The bar staff do not tend to the tables, you will need to approach the bar and if your lucky you will have the opportunity to be helped by the wonderful bartender who helped me, she was a delight.
I understand more and more establishments are allowing dogs now, which typically doesn't bother me, but when the dog is barking in a room where sound literally just bounces around??
Cheers!
Fantastic beer! Friend and I got 2 flights and split them. All 8 of the beers were so unique and different. Staff was super nice and helpful in selecting beers. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Was impressed with only being open since Nov '18 how good and different the beer was.
Great place, friendly staff, yummy beer, reasonable prices, and Billingsley Rocks!!!
I won t be back until The owner, Jeff, starts treating his staff like the professionals they are. To openly get aggressive and rude to staff in front of customers is mind blowing. Just tonight multiple tables watched his actions and left the establishment in disbelief. I guess you can pay for a cool bar, but you can t buy management skills or class.
My favorite brewery hands down. Amazing beer great staff and owner!
Great place and awesome beer! I love the location and the history of the building! A must visit!
Great job on remodel, hard to believe it was previously a car repair garage. Adequate parking with extra across the street. A very friendly staff. Nice beer selection. Best acoustics in town. Lots of seating, pleanty of room to dance.
Super chill atmosphere! Great beer. 10/10 will be back
We visited Dry Falls for the first time last night. I'm not usually much of a beer drinker. Now, I'm going to be going back often!! They have such an amazing selection. Even for those that are like myself. I tried quite a few. I didn't taste one that I didn't like. I am partial to the Blushing Otter. It's got a slightly sweet taste, but not so sweet that you forget you're drinking beer. The atmosphere is very welcoming. They're pet friendly, but not like some places in Asheville where they put pets above patrons. They don't allow mean and untrained dogs to harass craft seekers. Thank God. Jeff and Ethan (I believe that's his son's name) they were both so informative. They answered every question as if they actually wanted to answer them. Not like most places that only give you short 'I have to do this' answers. They explained things so we understood the process. Dry Falls Brewing co. Is most definitely a place I would recommend everyone try!! I know we will be going back!!! Thanks Jeff and the whole gang! You made me love beer again!!!!
Beautiful brewery. Family friendly. Friendly staff. Now the good stuff. The beer. I had several beers. They were incredibly impressive. The Cherry Vanilla Milk Stout is one of the tastiest and original concoctions I have had the pleasure of tasting in some time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone even passing through. Its worth stopping in.
The food truck, Olive Catering Co., was AMAZING! And the brewery was a neat place BUT it is not family friendly at all. I was disappointed in that aspect. We love going to Bold Rock and Mills River Brewery because they are family friendly. Sad but true.
Great laid-back atmosphere. Solid beer selection. Rotating food trucks. Will definitely return.
Good service. Live music. It is what you expect at a brewery
Honestly, we loved this brewery until 6 PM. When we arrived, the brewery upheld all COVID-19 mandates. After 6? Nope. Great brewery when they took the proper precautions. My party and I left when we saw that the staff was no longer enforcing state mandates. We wanted to have fun in a safe way, six feet from others, with everyone wearing masks when they were out of their seats. But when people are running around, with their masks off, while bumping into our table? I was done. The lack of social distancing and mask-wearing ruined a genuinely great experience. I am so bummed, honestly. The venue is great. They even had a band lined up, and we looked forward to hearing them. Lack of common courtesy ruined the experience.
