Initially I was intrigued by the fact this used to be an automotive body shop, based on the name and reviews I was sure I could find an excellent porter on their menu.

The entire establishment is an open floor plan and the old shop area offers nothing but natural light through the bay doors. It appeared as if they also had a section of the building that could be used for private parties, etc.

All of the seating were mainly high top tables, they have a large bar which you could stool up to as well, but my preference is the less traveled section. Since the entire area is wide open the sound travels maybe a little too well, but since we were still able to hold a conversation without yelling I was happy.

I was able to find one of the best porters I have found yet, this porter was so smooth and tasty that it could be dangerous. I recommend an Uber ride back and forth. The bar staff do not tend to the tables, you will need to approach the bar and if your lucky you will have the opportunity to be helped by the wonderful bartender who helped me, she was a delight.

I understand more and more establishments are allowing dogs now, which typically doesn't bother me, but when the dog is barking in a room where sound literally just bounces around??
Cheers!
