The location is beautiful .. the fish must be tried ... Nihat Usta legend ...

Room are ok and location is great.
Maybe sometime lack of high level service and Wi-Fi is sometimes buggy.
Breakfast location is great but inequal in quality.

In really 3 star hotel. Old furniture, shabby interior. Staff is good, location convenient. Don't waste your money, find something else

Best hotel in Istanbul. The see view is very best. When you wake up in the morning you see a beautiful sunrise view from your window which starts your day with refreshing ,beautiful ,elegant nature. Must visit this place. Also the place is very near to old Istanbul places.

The employees are concerned, the place is attentive and calm.

We have stied 3 nights on this hotel from 2nd to 5th of May. Worst experience. It is like at LOTO, you can receive a good room or not. I was not lucky . Good location and big parking. In the rest nothing. Personel from the reception very rude. Except one young gentelmen which try to help us in the last night, but was too late. In the first morning at breakfast they try to charge us for the second time, even if I have paid by travel agency. They have checked only after I made "noise". In the bathroom, it is missing the brush from the toilet so, you cannot clean it. There was not resserve of the toilet paper. We found only half of role and in the first 2 days nobody put another one. In the first day we have 2 pairs of slipers, after that remain only one. The door from the bath room it is close / open hardly. Part of the water from the shower cabin it is going on the floor, not good water proof insulated. When I have claimed about this problems the person from the reception didn't ofer us another room. The room was nosy, you can listen everything from outside.

Great location, but room and general areas are quite outdated. Should have been more options for breakfast and had to pay extra for some items.

Great hotel, wonderful breakfast and staff and very respectful

Easy to reach, spacious, scenic, safe, food, presentation and beautiful, most importantly, the service staff are the friendly, quick, polite and kind people who are looking for a special place in Istanbul and are an ideal place for cocktails, weddings, etc.

Clean, comfortable, and the reception is very tasteful

The place is beautiful, quiet and clean. Only the air conditioning is defective in some rooms. Payment by credit card is only in pounds.

Good location with amazing view, service need some attention though

Very good hotel for tourists. Distance to airport and to main places of interest is very short. Walking distance to St. Sofia museum.

Small facility. Just opposite beach, in a vantage point, near to all historical places.

The staff are very decent and helpful.
Hotel is very clean.
They even gave us a free upgrade.
Location is good, very close to sultan ahmad with some inclined streets.

Kalyon is one of the best located hotels in Istanbul. Clean and quiet. Falyanos Restaurant has a good service and delicious food.

Parking is good, food is delicious, service is friendly. What more can you say?

Kalyon is my favorite hotel in Istanbul and I've stayed there several times over the years. The service is great and the place has been updated really well over the years. They serve that delicious Turkish breakfast of cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, honey, and olives and you can view the water while you eat. It is centrally located; it's only a ten minute walk to the Hagia. I highly recommend this hotel

+ the hotel is Old but renovated
You need to pay Much More Money in order to get the sea view.. Otherwise, you are stock with the old houses view at the back

Very nice hotel, upscale atmosphere. More expensive than my other hotels but if you value a clean and nice room you pay the price. The disadvantage is that there is a lot of traffic on Kennedy street and a good walk to Sultanahmed

It s cozy. Handsomely. Quiet the most important thing. And the sea view is beautiful. Across the road is the sea. Class. And the prices are reasonable.

So bad service never think about going back any more

I have never used it for staying, but I have had many seminar style events. It can be preferred in terms of location and service.

A fairy dream destination with a beautiful view from the room

A nice hotel on the shore of Bosphorus, good food and nice restaurants around. Easy to get to the historical attractions of Sultanahmet. Nice food, nice staff. No gym or spa.

The hotel is very good. Comfortable and clean, and has a wonderful view of the sea that separates Europe and Asia. Very interesting, it has a great restaurant inside and excellent room services.

I had a spectacular room overlooking the sea of Marmara and the blue mosque in the back windows. The place is spectacular tucked between the old historic wall, near the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and the cistern. For historical visit the best place without a doubt. It is difficult to get from the airport if you do not take a taxi, and to leave to Taksim, also another taxi. Highly recommended.

Very nice location. This place means a lot to me where I spent my most memorable time.

My wife and I spent 10 nights here for our honeymoon in late December 2015 and it was perfect. Very clean and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Beautiful views also, highly recommend.

Great hotel. Very quiet (except for at prayer time). Convenient location. Friendly staff. My room has a view of the Blue Mosque. Excellent seafood restaurant. Also very nice for going jogging along the waterfront.

The staff is nice, the walls are thin but the location is great.

The view from restaurant is great! The hotel has 2 entrances. Main entrance from the sea side, and second from a tiny street in back of the hotel. Is close to Aya Sofia!

Kalyon Hotel, which has a perfect location on the shore of the sea, offers uninterrupted views of the Marmara Sea or the historical center of Istanbul. The Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia are a 10-minute walk away.

The slightly better location is thanks to the fact that I give the hotel 2 stars. Unfortunately, the rooms are very old, air conditioning was not working and the bill should be sent automatically via email. However, we all had to ask several times by email until we got it.

Beautiful and classy, but some occasions raise the price a little

Location is fine, however the room cleanliness is average.

A well-maintained place at the seaside and in touch with beautiful history, as the staff should be smiling.

Who buys rooms here for $ 80? you fell in love with cruelly, in fact, they cost three times cheaper.

Gorgeous weddings are held for you in a wonderful hotel that cannot be dated for years.

Marmara seaside hotel ... rekomeded if it comes in March ... not too cold snow, also not summer ... lots of tulips ... the sea in the morning ... really cold ... oh yes, the breakfast menu is outside amazingly delicious ... there are honeycomb hives and original honey too ... various cheeses and meats in turkey ... amazingly amazing
