It's really great but when it's summer the water gets really mucky.
It's really great but when it's summer the water gets really mucky.
Well organised with pre-booking vla an app. See the website for details. Once you're there, nothing could be better in heatwave.
Bit busy but so lovely to be able to get back in the water!
Fabulous outdoor heated pool with gym area and grass for sitting out in summer. Heated all year round and swimming 365 days of the year - yes, including Xmas Day which gets really busy! Nice learner pool. There are plans to develop the pool building by the Trust that owns the complex. Only drawback - it gets really busy on hot summer days but if you get there early and bag your space on the grass, it's a great place for a swim and sunbathe. Oh, and they do night swims and concerts too. Excellent!
I visited it before during the summer. Great experience! Can't wait for a Moonlight swim I booked which is less than in a week!
Wonderful outdoor swimming, great facilities, perfect for families
The only pool for the summer in the area, staff and customers don't respect the very basic rules of hygiene.
-People can walk with shoes and bikes close to the pools.
-The water slide is ridiculous in size and never been open in the whole summer.
-We have found human drops in the garden corner and none of the staff cared to remove it when asked to.
-People go straight from the garden to the pools bare feet and water gets mucky quite often.
-Toilets stay away from it!
We're so lucky to have this pool right next to Bushy Park! I love Hampton open air!!
Looking a bit tired but great fun , if warm gets busy by 11 @ weekends
It was a pleasure to visit this beautiful, heated outdoor pool while staying in Hampton. I was only there for two days, but made sure I went to the pool both evenings. The locals are lucky to have such a facility.
What could be better than an Aquafit class or a swim in warm water under a bright blue sky? This gem of a facility is working well (within Covid safety procedures) staff are doing their utmost to facilitate users' safety. Remember to book on the App and attend 'beach ready with cosy robes to go straight home. Speed is the key when it is cold and no inside changing facilities.
It's getting on a bit but none the worse for that. Lovely.
Water temperature was just right and enjoyed relaxing in the Sauna after a good Swim
Great pool, lovely grassy area for sunbathing but the changing rooms are grim
Just back from a fantastic day at the pool. I learnt to swim here 50 years ago and now a my boys have learnt to swim here, great lessons and teachers.
Today was my first time as a spectator as my youngest was at the TNT swimming morning. He had a brilliant time on the inflatables and slides.
Very well run, the TNT and Hampton Pool staff made sure all the kids had great fun, on first name terms with everyone.very safe as well considering the "mayhem",will be going every week. Cafe did an excellent bacon and egg sandwich and latte. The water is beautifully clean and perfect temperature. My only complaint is the prices, when I first started going a cup of tea was only 10 pence and a walls ice cream was 20 pence.
Love this place!!! Almost like being out of the country
The best pool ever! Clean changing rooms, everywhere tidy and pool just the right temperature
A great outdoor swimming pool with gym. Open all year round and family friendly. The cafe/restaurant on the roof is simple but has a great view over Bushy Park.
Visited for a picnic concert - very nostalgic and enjoyable!
Setting up a picnic with the family on a balmy summers day, a starlit night swim or for the braver ones the New Year's Day swim - Hampton Pool offers an all year round experience you simply won't get elsewhere.
Well organised as best as possible to allow people back in the pool again.
A local pool for local people who don't like new people swimming there. Especially if your trying to learn to swim in a wetsuit.
36m 28deg C. Good for outdoor lane swimming but a tad chilly if air temperature is cooler (eg under 25degC)
A great outdoor experience. Pools are warm and clean.
It's kinda dirty tbh.
Still it's a good pool if you just want to have fun.
Open air, good value, nice cafe. Nothing wrong with it.
Great pool - nice and warm(ish). Way too busy to go there in summer.
The pool was warm, very fun, lots of lifeguards (very safe) great place for families and friends
Great pool with very helpful staff. This pool has a set of teachers/instructors who are really good, focus is on technique and form. The pool also has a nice cafe and terrace if the weather is nice. Does get very busy on sunny days.
Very good pool and heated, has a barbucue outside great picnic area
Open air pool with outdoor tables and chairs, as well as a green lawn to lay your towels. Pity the burger shed is not operational during sunny days. The changing room would benefit from an upgrade.
Hampton out door pools are a real little taste of Heaven. There is nothing quite like the joy of swimming outside regardless of the time year. The pools are heated and once your in the water you don't notice the cold weather outside. They are open 365 days of the year, prices are extremely reasonable and consessions are available for those on benefits or retired.Life guards are on duty all the time, there are other activities on offer for every age group like water aerobics and spin bikes,a gymn and a rooftop cafe for hot or cold food and drinks. The changing rooms and showers are immaculately clean and all the staff are very helpful and welcoming.
Excellent pool. Warm and welcoming......like the staff
Arrived around lunchtime on a sunny bank holiday Monday for the first time, after queuing a while from the gate I walked towards the start of the queue and then saw how dreadfully long it was. A guy/ steward stopped me and said I couldn't pass him to walk towards the entrance so I explained that I wanted to ask a question. Then I asked the woman standing outside if they had any system in place for disabled users to queue and was abruptly told no. Someone informed me it could take between 2-3 hours to get in and it was one out one in.
I felt staff weren't easy to deal with and signage/ a board to warn people of approx. queue length would have been helpful. Placing this at this entrance and online would save many people a wasted journey and time hanging around for no reason. Could you not introduce limited session lengths!? I travelled an hour to get there and was sorely disappointed as were my friend and son.
Only gripe is the surrounding paving. This needs updating now.
Lovely place to cool down on a hot day and perfect a picnic...
It's shame that there is no wristband system (1 hour timeslots) during the Summer. It puts us off going because it's just too busy. A lot of pools operate this now and it seems to work well. Other than that it's great.
Excellent place to spend the afternoon after work. Mickey is a legend and Caolan is a laugh.
Loveeee coming here. Nice and chill place to come in the summer. Could spend the whole day or just a couple of hours. Would recommend that you bring a towel or something to lay on
One of the few outdoor pools open and its a really excellent facility.
Terrible trouble using the booking app. It wont let me cancel a booking. No one answers the phone an when I tried to use their contact form it says it's no longer in use. Feeling frustrated and ripped off.
Lovely pool but changing is grubby and old. Showers are communal which I really don't like.
What more could a swimmer want. Warm outdoor pool of a decent length of 36 meters. Change rooms are well used. Wish I had stayed longer to use the sauna. Swam on a winters evening and the steam coming off mixed with the flood lighting makes for an amazing experience. #poolcollector
Hi. Nice pool but the staff are surly and unhelpful at best. Bought some fins here that split after two months. They were unhelpful and obstreperous as regards replacement or money back. And every time we have been there they have been generally not nice and not very welcoming. The younger members of staff are much more friendly and helpful, the more "experienced" ones could learn a lesson. Won't be going back.
It's ok. Not very big and a bit dilapidated but absolutely fine for a few hours. Probably nicer when you're used to kids though as there is only 1 main and 1 toddler pool meaning any kids older than that go in the main pool.
Very large and open long hours all days. Relatively much cheaper than other pools in the area
I loved it it was my first time but I found it amazing the pool warm and clean sttaf were friendly
Absolutely appalled by the standard of hygiene, there was human faeces in both of the pools, it was only fished out with a net and people in the larger pool were not told to exit the pool while doing this. It was extremely over crowded, surely this must be a health and safety hazard, with children bumping in to each other in pools, there was not enough room to swim and there are only two toilets in the woman's changing rooms which is not enough considering they said they are allowed up to 3000 people, you have to queue up for ages to use the toilets. The staff including the manager and ladies at the counter were not very sympathetic and claimed "they are rated the best swimming pools in the area" which should definitely be re-assessed along with the staffs people's skills. There should be a stricter limit on the amount of people allowed per period of time. I came here with my family to have a nice day out but it was ruined. I will not be returning there again.
Really refreshing outdoor pool with a nice gym inside
Great experience in the winter months, steam rising from the pool
Oh how we have missed you! Such a wonderdul place, brilliantly organised and COVID safe. It felt like we had been thwre 10mins we were having so much fun.
Amazing outdoor pool anytime of the year, in fact winter is my favourite time to go swimming there.
Far too busy! Packed! Forget Covid. It was thoroughly irritating.
Love this pool
Great Saturday swim
Lovely pool a bit crowded on a very hot day. Food available.
A warm open pool in the winter - excellent. My girls loved it too, we'll be back regularly.
On this occasion I was just the driver, my wife and oldest son went to one of the evening concerts. They loved it. Very good event.
A privilege as always. Swimming in the rain was marvellous
Great to be back in the pool again after it being closer for so many months!
Lovely pool been going to aqua since Jan 16. Instructors great. Just wish reception and cafe staff could make us feel a little more welcome.
Dirty, too busy, couldn't swim as it was too busy and inflatables were allowed in the pool. Outdated changing room and facilities and lockers only use old pound coins. Staff were very friendly. Limited parking.
I thought it was quite dirty. Dead bugs all over the place in the pool. Didn t trust the cleanliness at all. Could do with being cleaned up and a makeover.
No frills. Just one awesome pool. Although do watch out for lane rage - guys in the fast lane can get a little serious
Nice outdoor pool on the edge of the lovely Bushy Park in Hampton. 36m heater pool and plenty of grassy areas to sit on and relax. Warning - if it's a warm sunny day in London get their early otherwise you'll be waiting ages to get in. Not their fault it's popular!
Love Hampton Pool, all year round, even when it's cold. Changing rooms are well maintained and it feels as if there is under floor heating. Price is a bit more than the local authority pools but happy paying more as it's a not for profit organisation.
It s crystal clear that Hampton pool is swimmingly well managed. When you dive deeper into membership. You don t need goggles to read the bill. Also, you won t be in deep water if you don t attend regularly.. be wary of those who SWOLF.. don t be Lane!
Now days is very hot so I was searching a outdoor pool on Google so in found this one obviously before to go there I call to ask about price and open time the reception take me is open until 19 and is 6.50 ..this was on Thursday..Not bad pool but unfriendly reception and not very prepared Saturday I go back again around 15:30 planing to stay until 19 but for my surprise one guy told us that will close at 17...I was disappoint because I paid full price and no one told me to the entrance about the time...when I told to the receptionist she didn't let me to talk bassicly she told me that is charity that no one help them...this kind of thinks so I give up....
I would like to speak whit one manager
