Lovely, small and cozy to such an extent you want to stay here for hours. Very tasty pastries and good coffee. The only downsides are the noise when it's crowded, and that it's so small you feel squeezed into place.

Just must to be tried

Just must to be tried
1) mocachino
2) capuchino and a carrot cake...
The carrotcake actualy is more chocolate and almond cake with sweet cream than a carrot one))

Do not go here If you re hungry, this is a cafe. Food had plain taste, salad was only grass, 1/3 of a tomato. Price bites. Coffee was great, meaning come here for a cozy chill and not to have a meal.

A perfect spot for everyone looking for a cosy hideaway in Gamla stan with a warm feel to it. Often crowded (tourists) and in no way a hidden gem (emphasis on the hidden). Ecpensive and small coffee, the big hot chocolate is enormous and worth the trip. I've tried out both the white chocolate cheesecake and the nut-caramel pie, which both had disappointingly little taste to them.

Beautiful place to have a good coffee break. Fast and helpful staff. Negative note the room developed on two small floors is often crowded and, with the doors open especially in the basement, the room cools down.

Usch what a place. At first, we barely even got in and sat down before the staff started running nervously to our table to force us to order something without having to think through what we wanted. Then music was played at very high volume so we couldn't even have a normal conversation without having to scream to overstate the music. That the music then sounded like it was going to blow up the speakers showed no regard for either. And when we did go, we had to wait almost twenty minutes before anyone even bothered to come and pay. Actually thought that cafes in Sthlm would hold a higher class than this abysmal place. The only plus is that the food was good and that you got really measured. But as a whole .

The rudest and most disgraceful behaviour I ve eve...

The rudest and most disgraceful behaviour I ve ever witnessed from someone in a customer service job!

I was told about this cafe by a friend and decided to go there when I was in Stockholm with my wife and daughter. Their Instagram and google pages were all incorrect saying they closed at 9 but when we rang they said that it was wrong and because of covid they close at 7 now. We asked if this was the case for Monday (21st of December) and the person on the phone told us it was.

We therefore made our way there after a long day of Xmas lights sight seeing and got there for 6pm to find a few customers having a drink but no one that we could find to serve us.

We waited for about 8 minutes before someone actually came and asked us how he could help us. Me (thinking I m in a regular cafe) thought he meant what we wanted to order so I said 3 hot chocolate please to which he very rudely told me the kitchen is closed .

I was confused and told him that we had spoken to someone a day earlier who had told us the cafe closes at 7pm. He then went on to say But you didn t speak to me and I m telling you it s closed . This childish and disgusting tone wasn t accepted by me and my wife who had our 7 year old daughter so I asked the man to speak to the manager or someone else as we really didn t want to deal with his lack of manners any longer, to which he replied there s no one here and I m from next door and I m covering and I m telling you we re closed .

I said to him that it s not fair that someone has told us that you close at 7 and we ve made it from one side of Stockholm to the other having promised my daughter hot chocolate only to be given new information and telling us we can t be served. His response to this was you expect me to open up the kitchen for your 3 hot chocolates? .

Me and my wife were shocked and amazed by this behaviour, my wife and daughter are Swedish nationals meaning we come to Sweden quite often and NEVER have we experienced the rudeness and arrogance of the person who spoke to us as if we were trash.

A potentially really lovely evening had such a sad...

A potentially really lovely evening had such a sad turn at this place...
I can sincerely say that I will never go back.

I came to have a hot chocolate with my God daughter and her, soon to be, 90 yrs old father. He made an - admittedly bad - joke re. the chairs, a joke that both the waiter and us at the table misunderstood (asked for a larger chair).

When it became clear to the waiter that the request was just a joke, he more or less flipped. Dashed the drinks at our table, then the plates.
When I walked up to the till to say that we were sorry, that our guest didn't speak Swedish that well, is almost 90 yrs old, and again, that we were all very sorry - I was basically told to f**** off, "did I want to do his job?!?" and that he had things to do, so could I get out of his way.

Giving some thought to this, yes, I would have liked to take that waiters job, if just for that one evening.

I would have loved to spare the daughter of the old man the humiliation that she felt, I would have loved to spare the old man the confusion that arose, and I would have loved to say to the person who tried to save the situation by coming up to the till to apologize, that it was alright. I would have loved to show some understanding and humility, rather that destroy the one evening that that old man had got his daughter to come with him to church, and then to have a hot chocolate.

So, my review - on the surface a warm and cosy place, but probably with over worked and quite unhappy staff. Don't go there if you want to have a special evening, don't go there with any one old, anyone sensitive or anyone who you care about.

Horrible - Horrible

Horrible - Horrible

We went to this place Yesterday for lunch and never had a bad experience. We have never had as bad a meal in Stockholm as here. We arrived for lunch time and sat down to read the menus, not even 30 seconds later a waitress came to our table to ask us to order, so panicked and pressure we couldn't even read the menus and they took the first two things at random: a blueberry pie with vanilla cream and a salmon pie with a chai latte and a beer. The only good thing that got to us was the beer (it was bottled). Apart from the exorbitant prices (which are understandable being a tourist trap) the cake was RAW, and not "had to stay still 2 minutes in the oven" raw, but "still 15 minutes in the oven" raw (practically chewingum). we're done. The salmon and spinach pie tasted only of cream, but it was edible, it was not the side "salad" consisting of a mountain of bean sprouts and completely inedible herbs such as thyme and rosemary. Finally, the chai latte tasted only and exclusively of cinnamon and nothing else.
So we got up hungry and dissatisfied and much poorer.
EDIT: AMONG THE OTHER I HAVE JUST NOTICE THAT FOR THEM 279 CROWNS IS 34.88 EUROS WHILE FOR THE REST OF THE WORLD THEY ARE ABOUT 26, TO SAY THIEVES IS TO SAY LITTLE! (SEE IMAGE)

We've been here yesterday at lunch and we have never eaten so bad in Stockholm. We arrived at lunch time and we were just sitten reading the menu that not even 30 seconds later a girl came at the table and asked us what we wanted so under pression and not even managed to read the entire menu we ordered random things: a blueberry cake and a salmon and spinach pie with a chai latte and a beer. The only good thing that arrived was the beer (bottled). Not considering the excessive prices (that I can understand being a tourists trap) the cake was RAW and not it-should-have-stayed-2-minutes-more-in-the-oven raw, but still-15-minutes-in -the-oven raw (practically chewingum). Useless saying we didn't finish it. The salmon and spinach pie taste like cream but it was edible, not like the "salad" that come with it that contained a great amount of soy beans and also inedible thing like rosemary and thyme. At last the Chai Latte that tasted so much or cinnamon I couldn't feel anything else.
So we stood up hungry, unsatisfied and a bit poorer.

EDIT: BY THE WAY I JUST NOTICED THAT FOR THEM 279 KR ARE 34,88 EUROS AND FOR THE REST OF THE WORLD ARE 26 EUROS CA, CALL THEM THIEFS IS NOT ENOUGH! (SEE IMAGE)

Large cinnamon bun and large portion of cookie cake for the children 's joy. But it shouldn't have to take 35 minutes to get two cheese-oatmeal sandwiches. They were also dry and boring. Most of the toppings consisted of bean sprouts. Here one should improve !! Until just ++

Really cozy place.

Really cozy place.
The sandwishes aren't just huge, they're delicious too!
The prices are a litte high (probobly because it's in a high tourism place)
