Fantastic place to go for a coffee and a slice of cake or "fika".
Good hot chocolate with unique atmosphere. Cinnamon roll is nothing special. Staffs are friendly.
Nice place,
"Warm cover" is provided when it' cold outside
White hot chocolate is very good!
A super cozy and very pleasant place for a fica (gourmet snack)
The main customer, sometimes it's hard to find the place, the outdoor dining is one of the best in the sun in Stortorget in the middle of the Old Town, recommend baked potatoes with chicken liqueurs, superfluous staff. Recommended
Great hot chocolate. We also had an amazing chocolate cake that came with whip cream and white chocolate chips. Location by the Nobel Museum makes this a perfect spot to people-watch or just hang out with friends.
Top. Great coffee and very Nice atmosfeer. Loved it
It serves home-made delights - the white chocolate cheesecake is fantastic. KaffeKoppen setting is an experience on its own. Sipping your coffee and eating the local delights surrounded by spiralcase, candles & a historical cellar vault take you back to the 1600s. Love the experience.
In a super beautiful place, but with a service of dubious quality. They served a super expensive bottle beer, nothing fresh and expensive.
Very cozy place, great food and drinks. But if you pay with Euro you have to pay way more! So remember to bring local currency.
nice environment. but only hve 1 toilet.... hehe...
Great, cute, charming cafe serving amazing cakes and hot chocolate :) Great service, amazing location! Great for a fika time in Stockholm :)
Really good, cozy and nice. Stoora portions were not saturated before coming here. Really good too
I passed by Chokladkoppen during my 4 hour stay in Stockholm while flying back to Berlin. I only had a Cappuccino but that one was honestly the best Cappuccino I ever had and a fantastic choclate with cream thing which I can't remember the name of. I totally loved their service and can only recommend hopping into this place :)
Really good location, and a cute atmosphere, but the menu wasn't that impressive and since it is in Gamla Stan, it's quite expensive. Got a giant Hot Cocoa, more of a bowl than anything and sat and chatted.
An exotic cafe in a square that smells of history, you should taste the cinnamon bun
The institution preserves the style from the birth of these houses! Exciting and a little alarming (if you imagine that time)!
Great location, good coffee. I suggest sitting downstairs, it is a ruin-like place and it makes you feel like you are in a medival place.
Cozy place with history! However, do not like that the staff does not speak Swedish, but only English ...
Nice place on the square welcoming terrace good sandwiches
The best carrot cake I've ever tasted and chai latte was delicious! Excellent service. Lovely old interior. Will visit again.
Choice, cozy little place we visited as a last fika before departing Stockholm. Staff were attentive and polite even though rushed off their feet. Intimate low chatty atmosphere on a Saturday night. We had chocolate cake, cinnamon bun, hot chocolate and cappuccino all which were delicious and arrived promptly. The chocolate cake (claddkaka) was particularly fine.
This is one of the three cafes located in the main square of the old town. They have a lovely selections of hot drinks and pastry's as well as some more substantial stuff. The location is perfect as they have some lovely outdoor seating with blankets (great for when its not so warm). I would definitely recommend the hot chocolate and the cinnamon buns as they are delicious.
Enter and go crazy with homemade cakes and pies of all kinds. Musfin, candy, cookies. The chocolate is superior, the best I've had. Small place its smell makes you fall in love. I would go every day !!!!!!!
Cozy place nothing special but food was good and super well located.
The staff was very kind.
The best chocolate milk that you could get in town is at Kaffe Koppen! It s so rich and you would want to go back once again to this place. I have been there 4 times so far and their quality remains the same.
Very tasteless food, tasteless beer and poor service, only good for the location and environment.
A great place to sit and take a coffee to escape the cold streets in winter. It's got a great atmosphere, as its looks and feels like you have stepped right into medieval Stockholm.
Small place offering sweets and coffee. Tourist place and nothing more
Cafe located in the old area of Stockholm, next to the Nobel Museum. In this place although the sandwich I had was not too good, what you should try in this place is your chocolate cake.
Ordered some cakes, pastries and hot white chocolate to drink. Over priced with below average taste on the hot white chocolate. Still a very nice place to visit especially since they have a basement "cave" like feel segment of the cafe after you pass a narrow passage of stairs. It is also located in the heart of Gamla Stan :)
Fantastic spot to sit and watch the crowds of tourists in the square. Enjoyed a lovely cauliflower soup with bread and cheese and a white hot chocolate.
I had the white hot chocolate (which refers to the color, not the temperature ) and we had a latte. Make sure to go down the spiral staircase to where the bathrooms are. The subterranean room would be an amazing place to have a rave. Right next to the Nobel museum.
The first time I was in Stockholm was late November and it had snowed recently. We arrived in the central square of Gamla Stan and we entered this place. Meanwhile, he had begun to snow and the window table where we were sitting we were for a while 'watching the scene doing an excellent snack. Since that time it has been a regular stop every time I go to Stockholm.
Good place to eat or snack, the place is small and cozy, good international ambient music and very attentive treatment of the girls. I recommend the Swedish lasagna and sweet almond and cream cakes. Very good and reasonable price, for being such a central area!
The cozy coffee room is great for groups of 4 or less people. It is great that you can order the chocolate from the window. The hot chocolate is one of the best ever and the attention is super nice
The espresso is undrinkable and the chocolate is hot milk with 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder ...
Nice little cafe in the middle of the city center with little seats on the ground floor. Had excellent cinnamon rolls!
Wasn't impressed with the service here. Every staff member seems to be in a crazy rush, meal was thrown at my table together with the bill. Then waitress came with the bank terminal impatuently examining how much tip was I going to leave.
Food was good though
One of popular place to eat or drink when you visit Stortorget (it's one of the ironic building what tourists would take pictures of).
If you are planning to sit outside, I recommend you to take a sit and wait for the waitress to come to take your order. This is because they will ask you to do so even you wait inside to order it (inside looke cozy but then there are not much spaces).
The waitresses seemed very stressed out or in rush. But I do understand since it's peak season.
Delicious hot chocolate and desserts.. very cozy setting in the heart of Gamla Stan.
The hot chocolate was not so good in my opinion and the cheesecake was just whipped cream. I could not finish plus the staff isn't so attentive. ALSO I paid 104 for hot chocolate and cheesecake.... I don't think it was worth it.
Good location and cute cafe. Waiters are okay, not super friendly. Ordered a chicken pie and received a quiche (not complaining because I liked it, but a little misleading). Chai latte was a large serving, but tasted like milky water. Quite disappointed for the price of it. The desserts looked nice but didn't try them.
Very warm coffee, ideal for the snack break! The pastries are to die for, including apple pie and walnut pie.
The toast was dangerous! It will make me poor and fat. Just perfect. Cozy room in the basement.
Nice atmosphere. Popular cafe in a central location.
The best puddles and delicious tea. Lovely warm up with cold air and tasty in hot weather!
good cheesecakes, white and normal chocolates, maybe not the most tasty of Stockholm...
Great surroundings, nice playmobile photo art :)
Cappucino was served in a stylish old mug which is a nice touch, chicken pie and chocolate cake both were tasty but after seeing the 'kitchen' and receiving a dirty glass we lost our appetites.
Staff is polite but no more than just polite.
Cinnamon buns are ok but white hot chocolate is amazing.
Very small place for a chocolate snack and drink. Nice place and nice and cozy. Well full!
I don't really get the big deal. Pastries and treats were nice but very much on par with most of what is available in Stockholm. The chocolate drink we had was good but not great.
Located in a great spot for people watching all seasons, as the square adjacent often is congregation point or has mini-events.
Extraordinary staff, they're really nice, highly appreciated, I hope their boss pays them well! :)
I tried the cinnamon roll as the waitress said this is what they're known for. Didn't think it was great. You can have better cinnamon rolls in London.
Cozy rustic furnishings in the basement and super-marble scallops!
It's a tourist trap. Not worth it because I've seen on many blogs and because they wrote that the hot chocolate was nice.
We went there on Sunday at 8.45. Not open. We checked the time on the website and it did say it's open at 8 on Sunday. Well, maybe it will open at 9 so we walked around a bit and wait. Still not open at 9. We decided to go to another place.
Nice coffee, delicious sweets, polite and friendly staff specially the girl from Greece. It was a beautiful, warm place for fika! Thank you.
Very cozy cafe! A little expensive maybe, a la Stockholm, but they are open late and it is intimate and cozy. Nice staff and good and good coffee.
Delicious sweets and snacks, great coffee and must-try chocolate delicacies. Surely a must-visit place.
Good place but don't sit next to the door because people keep walking in and out. But the atmosphere and interior is cozy
Amazing waitress / waiters. Can't miss chocolate cake or cinnamon bun
The best kanelbullar (cinnamon buns) I've had, plus great coffee, in a cozy-romantic and historic space, with a good patio facing Gamla Stan's cutest square too. Prices are a little inflated and it's always congested, but both are probably due to Chokladkoppen's unbeatable location in the Old Town.
Nice snack restaurant in beautiful old building with Psalm 37 in German above the door.
Very touristy, but a perfect place to have a rest and gaze over the tourist throngs and the square, with a beer or a coffee. Inside it is a very cosy place. Service is brisk.
Warm and charming place, beautiful from the outside but that lacked real food...
Cosy atmosphere and great cakes! Usually very crowded so make sure to check the space downstairs :)
A must have your White Chocolate Cheese Cake (spectacular!) And your hot White Chocolate!
