Good chocolate, it s better to sit outside - it s very crowded inside. It is especially wonderful to sit in the front row, towards evening, at a time when dusk sets in. In your hand is a cup of hot chocolate, a fountain rings in the square, the building on the right is illuminated by gas torches, in front of you, small groups of tourists are moving quietly shuffling shoes over stones. Perfect place.
Excellent cozy coffee place during the cold winter. The hot chocolate and cinnamon roll (kanelbullar) really warms the body (and soul)
Stopped for a little snack at midday. Had meatball sandwich which was nice. Dagens salad was not that great but it was ok. Location is great so it might be worth to have a little break there. Otherwise nothing special.
The sandwiches were a bit too dry and the service could have been a bit more attentive.
This restaurant includes a basement lit only candle which gives an intimate and warm atmosphere. Good dishes. Correct service.
Nice and cosy place to enjoy coffee, located in the heart of old town. On negative side, too few seats and too many tourists make this place really crowded
Absolutly delicious chocolate cake. Coffee and Chai latte is also nice. Just the music is a little bit annoying.
Avoid the chicken curry sandwich: it's a giant, sloppy, rich mess, with almost no spice. The salmon and spinach pie is a quiche, and it's not bad.
The cinnamon bun is a given choice. Larger ones are hard to find!
Nice coffee shop. I recommend the white chocolate cheese cake.
Okayish food, so-so coffee, they charge extra for oats milk. No soap in toilet, so wash your hands before you go there. Location is great though.
Lovely atmosphere and great food. Had a mochaccino and the soup of the day, expecting a small-ish bowl, got a massive portion with a full sandwich. Staff were lovely. The only draw back was the price.
liked tasty large cinnamon roll for 35SEK only and hot white chocolate - take the small one -otherwise you'll get a sugar coma:) cozy place
Great place to sit and enjoy the views of the square.
You may at first think that it is high price, but then comes the food. Wow, what portions, and good!
Cozy cafe in a very small room.Latte in a large bowl and a cinnamon bun goes a long way.Or raspberry pie with good vanilla sauce
The varm choklad is very good. It's a little pricey but expected. Baristas were really nice.
Definetly the best hot chocolate in town! Located at the heart of Gamla Stan the old town of Stockholm. With an old yet homey building, they offer a hot chocolate, a variety of pastries, cakes and sandwiches. Prepare for the long queue!
Great vibe, super nice surrounding area and easy to get too. Also great coffee
Very delicious coffee and food. Perfect stop in Gamla Stan
Small restaurant offering typical sweet and savory dishes, recommended.
Food is delicious and staff is very nice They have blankets
Divine!! The Cinnamon rolls are gigantic! Without a doubt a must!
Lovely sandwiches almost a little too big Cozy environment
In the middle of the Old Town, big cups with hot chocolate! The outdoor restaurant on Stortorget. Super nice!
Macchiato was a sad experience as was the blueberry pie.
Its okey but pretty expensive due to the location. The staff is friendly tho.
We were at the Nobel museum and stopped by this cute little place to have a cup of tea. The tea was good and the view was great.
One of my favorite spots in Stockholm to have great food!! No matter if you look for good cake, coffee or dinner - you'll find something that is delicious and also looks good
Great little place for fika. The best coffee in Stockholm! Wonderfully cosy and very authentic.
Friendly staff and delicious food for tourists! The sandwiches were very tasty as the light acidity of mayonnaise and the pungency of Swedish mustard matched the bread. English menu available. Staff speaks English. It is very volumic for Japanese, so be careful if you ask too much!
Crowded and cozy, huge portions of rustic food in a rustic environment, and really reasonable prices for being in the Old Town. I ate spinach soup, delicious, but I missed the traditional egg half. Gigantic sandwiches with different breads. The neighbor's cinnamon bulb semolina also looked lovely, there may be more visits there.
Huge food portions so if you're going to eat male sure you're hungry.
Okie for quick lunch before continue to explore Gamla Stan.
Oh man, they have one of the best desserts in Stockholm. I really enjoyed the Princess cake and cinnamon roll. And the waitress was lovely
Nice and cozy location, especially if you go down to the cellar! However I thought it was weird that you had to order without knowing what the sweet baked stuff would look like. I went with something called a "citron fromage", thinking it would be creamy or perhaps like a lemonpie sort of - instead I recieve a slightly burnt meringue with some almond on top. Not satisfied with it at all.
Cool location and the flair is kept. Also a little more expensive but delicious!
Small cafe on the square. It has small vegan options. The dishes are big enough and the beer is frozen. Classic city prices.
While somewhat charming, this place serves average baked goods to average prices. Not a good place for tea lovers. Plenty of better places are available nearby.
Good place to enjoy hot chocolate, or a piece of cake. Very attentive and friendly service.
Nice place, authentic style, very friendly staff, good food.
Small and cute. It offers delicious treats and drinks with reasonable prices.
There's nothing better got anywhere in the world. Always as good coffee, very nice English speaking staff!
Cozy with table service and friendly staff, value for money and good coffee. But a little boring to get the bill on the table at once. Worth a visit anyway!
My favourite cafe for Kladdkaka and Hot Chocolate. Located in the centre of Gamla Stan. Very old place. Perfect.
Awesome staff, spectacular food, and an out-of the world interior. I recommend, if you want a quick time travel in medival time, just go downstairs and enjoy a warm drink in candle light.
Very bad service... Frowned at me when I said we will order only 1 latte, there were three of us. And when my other 2 mates left, they made me share the table with another couple without even asking whether I am ok with that.
Delicious chocolates taken in the armchairs facing the square and under the covers at dusk. What more ? (Too bad the cleanliness inside is not at the rendezvous).
Lovely, cute cafe with great hot drinks. Delicious cafe. Very friendly service.
Very pretty place. Very cozy We ate the apple pie and the raspberry pie, amazing. Very tasty everything and the place is very nice set. Different.
Nice ambience and delicious coffee and food at acceptable prices given the touristy location. Outside seating is recommended in warm weather.
Lovely, warm and cozy place in the midst of winter, with an authentic underground cellar.
Very good pastries and with nice prices. The ambiance is very cosy and you seem to be in a little chalet.
Probably the most touristy places I've ever been to in Stockholm located next to the Nobel museum. The waiter spoke four languages and provided excellent service. The orange juice, cold chocolate drink and apple pie were all delicious! Savory foods were also served if you want to eat lunch.
Stockholm is a wonderful city. I collected so many good memories within a few days I was there. Kaffekoppen and their apple pie is probably at #1 Sipping from you flavourful coffee, reading a book or having a conversation with your friend, watching people around the plaza, feeling the overwhelming presence of Nobel museum with all the heritage, appreciating the fact that your tables are used to be sewing machines... Did I say their pies are heavenly delicious? Just spend half an hour here, you'll be hooked I promise!
Located in the center of Gamla Stan, its a amazing place to enjoy a cup of coffee sitting outside. Food here is also nice specially the desserts. Do try their Pie preparations.
Nice little sandwhich/coffee shop on Stortorget square. Very busy, but the wait staff handled it very well. I had the salamis and brie on a large bun. Very tasty. The iced tea is sweetened, but not overly so.
The quality of hot chocolate dropped and it's quite pricey. Tourist trap basically.
The old-fashioned cafe and chocolate cake were delicious
Crowded with tourists, overpriced and a sleazy waiter trying to pick up tourist women rather than looking after tables.....
The place was conspicuously easy to find. Heard they served a decent cinammon roll and great coffee. The food did not disappoint, but the service was a tad too slow that our rolls were served cold in the end. They took quite some time to take our order as well when we are already seated inside for some time. Service definitely can be much improved.
Food and drinks are ok, but nothing to wright home about either. Been there twice and both times the service was meh... one of the times was really bad though. The guy must have had a bad day or something. Food came out about 20 minutes apart and cold. When we asked why he gave us the look and basically said that s the ways it s done....
Great little cafe and a delicious hot chocolate! So cosy and popular that I was lucky to get a table.
