If you are a vinyl and vintage curio enthusiast, you will LOVE this shop! A large and varied selection of all musical sorts including several obscure metal sub-genres!! I was very surprised to find two titles that I haven't seen in many other record stores. Friendly service and positive vibes-no attitudes! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Nice record shop for the average vinyl aficionado. Wide selection of new and used media. Friendly, knowledgeable staff -they'll help you find what you are looking for or order it in for you. Four stars due to the lack of turntable accessories and very little stock or dedicated section of DJ records.

Cool store with good staff picks and telling locals section. Unique pop culture items like vintage merch or posters and good quality turntable equipment and accessories. Went in on a heavy rainy day and it was a great way to kill an hour browsing and chatting with staff. I went during September pandemic and they had a cool system where they had each section with red tape boxes and asked that each customer only occupy one box at a time.

Rainy Day is a cozy little record store. They have a pretty good selection, and definitely has a little bit of everything, as well as turntables and some amps. Definitely a staple of downtown.

The first time I went to Rainy Day it was to get tickets for AC/DC, the Back in Black/For Those About to Rock tour, way back in the day.(This was way before CDs). Used to be on Westside, corner of Harrison and Division. Love their selection of glorious old-school tunes . Staff is always ready to help, and if they don't have something, they'll help you find it.

Usually spend at least an hour and a half Everytime I go. Hard to find a quaint little record store anymore. What a treasure. Wish they were ten times bigger but then they wouldn't be a quaint little record store.

Love this place! Great people, great selection, great prices.

To those complaining about their response to COVID...you are showing how selfish and uninformed you are. The fact that you think it s more important for you to be able shop for records than for the staff working FOR YOU to stay safe is beyond selfish. GTFO.

Love this place. It's a refuge for throwbacks that actually like looking at album and dvd covers when they shop. Also love the listening station for used cds. Great collections of music and movies that you wont find on amazon or netflix. This place preserves the rare, the weird, and the under appreciated art that carves ruts into the imagination. Thanks rainy day!

Incredible collection and size. Albums are very well organized, and their selection of used vinyls is fairly comprehensive. They also sell audio/video equipment, merch, and cute buttons. Staff is helpful -- I would compare them to a friendlier version of the staff in High Fidelity.

drove down from Seattle, found some real great records from the late 60's. enjoyed the funny bumper stickers there too. People kind of left you alone, which is O.K. to me. Dude at the counter was pretty good.
gave me a Rainy day record store sticker to put on my snowboard.

Decent place, cool merchandise, not enough of the type of music I like but you can't expect one record store to cater to everyone. Also their prices are kinda ridiculous. But again, that's just my opinion. As far as record stores go, it definitely is a store that sells records and record accessories. So I'd say they're doing a decent job.

Been here twice in the past week, got 1 new record and 3 used for 35 bucks, and both times the cashiers made eye contact with me which for some people is no big deal, for others it makes their day. Made my day both times. Awesome place.

A little store that has everything. Outstanding selection ... All genres and all formats! Even VHS and DVDs to buy or rent! Knowledgeable owner -- and I do mean *encyclopedic* knowledge of music (I haven't interacted much with the other staff). If you can't tell, I love this place.
