A wonderful place where I stayed more than once and the best thing about the hotel is the treatment of its employees. It is not just enough, it deals with a guest that you feel are friends.

A five star hotel in the sense of cleanliness and the splendor of the place and the real comfort, it is wrong that the bathrooms in rooms without showers, and the Internet service is free and very overpriced, I found in my room some people, a boy and two girls have entered by mistake, I do not know how to get the same key to our room ! , But it is a high standard hotel anyway

Our stay was totally dissatisfying, we reserved 2 nights in JW Mariott because we love this hotel and it is our regular place to go inside Cairo and we chose it this time because our son "3 years" is having a medical case and can't be exposed to sun, we went two times & used the indoor pool and i called the reservations from days ago to check if the indoor pool is open as most of the indoor pools are still closed because of corona virus but they told me it is open.

However this time we were surprised that the indoor pool is for 18+, we knew this information by coincednce when we were having a tour with our baby, the reservations didn't tell us this information and even the front desk as well!

I went to the guy in the reception and told him and the surprise is "sorry we can't help you"; no one helped us and even the word "speedy recovery" didn't happen.

I explained to them my son's case "Vitiligo" and that we planned our vacation based on the indoor pool availability.

The way of handling the problem was totally shocking, from the staff to the manager.

I requested to talk to the manager and they left us from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm and I went to the guy in the reception named "Peter" he was carrying his mobile and chatting/texting and didn't even look at me and kept using his mobile for 10 mins "you can check the cameras"! And I told him we will cancel our stay as no one told us this information he said okay!

When the manager came i was also surprised of his way of handling, he didn't say anything except sorry we can't give you an exception, I tried with him even to specify timing during the day so we can use the indoor pool for 3 or 4 hrs or even during Sunday as it is a weekday but nothing happend!

Finally, we know someone who is working in Nile Ritz and he informed us before we go that he will do for us a favor of free parking and late check out.

During the check out they kept us for 1 hr to do the parking issue (EGP 250) and after this long time they gave us parking card and wrote it is free, on the gate the security informed us no you must pay.

We paid and left with sadness because of our whole stay!

Nothing to tell you that this vacation was because of our anniversary (Sunday 27/9/2020) and nothing happend from the hotel as a compliment as we used to have in any hotel in Egypt!

This was unacceptable, totally unprofessional & disrespectful!

Note: we paid for 1 night EGP4900

Likely one of the best hotels in Cairo for leisure...

Likely one of the best hotels in Cairo for leisure or business. Its close to the airport - however its not close to anything else.

We had room 4400 a Junior Suite. The water in the shower would go from ideal to cold to extremely hot without warning (and no we didn't flush the toilet or use the hand basin). But something is up with the water for the shower.

The bed is so comfortable. Great workspace too. Sofa excellent. Bathtub with jacuzzi jets. Very clean and tidy decor. Curtains actually shut out the light too. Amazing.

Had access to the Executive Club which is stunning - and the staff there first class. The food didn't vary much from day to day so if you are there for a long stay could be a bit boring - but on the whole was very good quality.

The pool is nice - and The Beach is a purpose built "natural looking" beach with a concrete floor - and from time to time waves in one of the 3 pools. Its a good place to chill out. But can be closed if they have an event (and their event guests take precedent over the hotel guests - so don't expect to be able to use The Beach in Ramadan I guess - even when its in the middle of summer LOL).

If you want to go to the mall (Festival City Mall is the best one nearby) then expect to spend about 15 mins in the car (its only 5 mins coming back - but the ring road means you have to drive way out of your way with the taxi to get there). The hotel does have a free shuttle that goes at 6pm nightly, and returns at 9pm.

The concierge desk also has a sign that they offer a friday complimentary tour of various sights (Friday being the Egyptian Saturday day off we know from Australia/USA/UK etc). Sounded like a good way to see the sights if you are there for work.

And lastly - I would have to say this is the best hotel in Cairo for non smokers. Very few smokers in the lobby and other areas - and you can't smell smoke in your room like other hotels.

A truly amazing place to stay. Will be back.
