Just Jane Catering Review

Incredible food, fantastic service and lovely people.

On recommendation from @russets_country_house where we had our wedding, we got in touch with Louise and Andy at Just Jane Catering. They were very friendly, accommodating of our requests and created delicious food. Many of our guests have said it was the best food they've had at any wedding, and we definitely agree. It was all cooked perfectly and presented beautifully.
Furthermore, Louise was instrumental in the smooth running of our whole day. She made us feel at ease in the run up to the wedding, and very relaxed on the day, allowing us to concentrate on enjoying ourselves, which we certainly did!
We can't recommend Louise and Andy @justjanecatering highly enough.

We had booked Just Jane catering for our October 2020 wedding, but due to Covid-19, we sadly cancelled our wedding reception due to it not being practical to run the event with the restrictions of just 15 people being in place, and consequently had to cancel the catering service. We understood that we had incurred some costs after having a food tasting and two meetings with Just Jane Catering however sadly, Just Jane were unwilling to refund any of our deposit, even though we had not incurred costs equal to the full amount of the deposit. We requested a 50% refund of our deposit which was declined, and then alternatively suggested we receive a voucher for the full amount of the deposit with the intention of using Just Jane for a future event, however request was also declined. We have now lost our full deposit. Considering that we are in exceptional times, we are shocked that there was no attempt to compromise or meet us halfway, and we feel very let down by Just Jane Catering as a result.

Louise and her team provided the wedding breakfast at our wedding at Russets Country House. We cannot fault the food at all it was amazing. The staff were friendly and all of our guests were more than happy with the food that they received.

I cannot recommend Just Jane as a catering company highly enough! They catered for our wedding on 28/03/2016 and every detail from the moment of booking has been 100% perfect. They have been accommodating, helpful, friendly and the food was AMAZING! Thank you Louise and Andy!

For catering our wedding at The Russets Country House we used their preferred vendor Just Jane. Well well well, the food was gloriously delicious! Our guests loved it and raved about it weeks later. We had a tasting session prior to the wedding and so knew what to expect and they did not disappoint on the day.

Louise and the Chef Andy, were very patient as we talked about the flavours we wanted and the table setting of our choice. They assisted us with staying within budget as costs can quite quickly escalate!

They helped us with coordinating the table settings, seating plan and helped with the table decor and arrangements, and ensured our guests had what they needed and were catered for on the day.

The chef was fantastic and can cater to any taste or genre, so don t hesitate to just ask for what you want and if he can, he will do it. We had a bbq jerk chicken going in the background, which created a great backyard style bbq feel within a gorgeous picturesque setting while appetizers were being served outside on the grounds guests mingled until we were ready to serve the meal. We also had salmon with lots of great side dishes. They even catered to our vegan guests who just loved the food!! While we were taking pictures they brought us a plate of the appetizers so we wouldn t miss out, which was just great customer service, thoughtful and much appreciated.

All in all a fabulous dining experience. Would definitely recommend them to cater your event.

We hired Just Jane to cater our wedding in September, Louise was very helpful in answering any questions I had during the planning process and the food at the tasting was fantastic! We were a little apprehensive as to whether it could really be that good, when being served to a whole wedding party but Louise, Andy and the team did not disappoint. Many of our guests commented on how delicious the food was, including the canapes and our cheese cake! The portion sizes were excellent, and the presentation very good. The serving staff were very friendly and professional.

We got married at Russets County House on 26th November 2016 and found 'Just Jane' through them... what can I say!
Louise was SO lovely and her food is simply stunning. Sometimes food at a wedding can be a bit boring....not Just Jane! Everything tasted so fresh and we honestly couldn't believe our luck that we had found them! We wanted all our favourite foods for our winter wedding and she truely delivered. Every guest commented on how good the food was and everyone was full up afterwards. I loved the details like milk for tea and coffee in little glass bottles too.
I can't recommend Louise and 'just jane' enough!

We were introduced to Just Jane Catering after booking our wedding at Russets Country House for Friday 1st November 2019.

We met with Louise a few weeks after booking the venue and instantly warmed to her. Louise seemed to understand exactly the style of autumn/winter fuss free but tasty food that we were looking for.

Amazing food for our wedding day. We had the best camembert we've EVER had. But all the food was glorious. We and our guests scoffed the lot and all guests commented on how delicious it all tasted.
They went above and beyond. Louise was so kind to us, especially on the day. She saved us a plate of the canapes which was so so kind and unexpected, but it was exactly what we needed on such a (brilliantly) busy day.
The whole experience with Louise was great. We had a lovely meeting to go through everything and she made sure everything was perfect.

Just Jane were recommended to us by our wedding venue and we certainly weren't disappointed. The owner Louise was extremely helpful and was always on hand to answer questions and help with our choices along the way. We were extremely happy with the delicious food and excellent service provided by Louise and her team and would highly recommend them to anyone needing skilled and experienced caterers for their wedding or event. We held our daughter Anna's wedding at Russets Country House on Sunday. Just Jane, under Louise gave us a delicious Wedding Breakfast. Perfect timing, with very attentive and efficient service throughout. Louise came and spoke to us towards the end of the meal, a personal touch we very much appreciated.

We hired Just Jane for our wedding catering and couldn't have made a better choice. Louise was absolutely lovely and did so much to help on the day, working well with the venue and other suppliers. The tables were also laid out immacuately and looked beautiful, just as we had imagined.

Just Jane did the food for our wedding at Russets three weeks ago and it was exceptional. Great selection of canapes to start which were delicious (and lots of them!), great barbecue food with a wide range of tasty salads and a great vegetarian option and a deliciously decadent dessert selection. Louise and her team also set up all the tables for us and made sure everything was well organised and that no one was waiting around for food. Would definitely recommend.
