I visited the Donald Judd exhibit about 2 years ago and had a wonderful tour. The guides were very informative and interesting to hear the stories about how Judd worked. I loved looking at the Dan Flaven's work on the top floor. This building was so important to Donald Judd's use of proportions that it is a significant insight into how he created his work. If you like Donald Judd this is a must-do visit, enjoy!
They got mad when I used Judd's toilet. What am I gonna do, not take a dump when ass is about to explode? Nice facilities though, very soft toilet paper.

Register online and Talented staff will give you a small group tour of the building. Incredible architecture, furniture, and art inside by multiple well known artists ! Well worth the price.
The. Absolute. Best. Go on a rainy day, in the evening.
Very interesting tour, the guide was knowledgeable and very friendly.
Boring and pretentious. Of course I would like to have a Dan Flavin in the bedroom anyway ...
Booked a 90 min visit. Great experience, small group and kind guide. Would recommend! No pictures allowed :/ but yeah it s understandable.
Very cool tour. If you are a Judd fan you need to see this.
Wonderful design fully integrated into a real home. Mind blowing.
Really amazing opportunity to see the private workshop, home, and living space of the are great artist, Donald Judd. You can't just show up, all reservations for tour are made online with a 3 month wait. It's definitely worth it though. Really a joy to see a home like this.
Snag a ticket and go - even if you aren t that in to art - it s a lot of fun to think what you would do with all that space he had....
Yup. Best hidden treasure of Soho! See and experience Judd up close and personal. Be sure to schedule appointment ahead of time!
Definately worth the time to visit - especially if you've been to or are planning to go to Marfa. The space is fascinating from an art history-, architecture/design-, and NYC history-persepctive. The small group size helps keep it uncluttered and intimate, while allowing for questions. Helps to have some knowledge of late 60s/70s art.
If you're an artist who lucks into buying a building in a neighborhood that's slated for demolition but then turns into a thriving cultural scene in the nation's densest city, some day random people might want to stop by your home and wish they owned some extremely rectangular metal sculptures too
