One of the worst property agents to rent from in town. I would not recommend these guys to anyone, after reporting a leak for months, these guys did nothing. I would wakeup with water on the floor more than once a week and everything in the closet wet(i.e. Clothes, books, shoes etc). These guys did nothing, I had to move out of the property because I could see that the problem was not about to be fixed anytime soon.
After serving my notice and preparing to move out, they had people viewing the flat without fixing the problem. The day I moved out, they had a tenant moving in and I felt sorry for the guy because this meant he had to take over reporting the same problem. I told the new tenant about the problem but unfortunately he had already signed the contract with them and payed the deposit. This does not only make them useless and incompetent, but they are also unethical.
Probably one of the worst in Town.
Don't throw your money away.
To top this off, our deposit of 10K came down to 3.5K after having a Plascon spec job done in a small two bedroom townhouse. I have photos to prove what was never fixed. I hope Garhard Vosloo can save his company, before it's name gets dragged through more mud.
Totally useless. Did renovations in our complex. After 1 month paint started peeling off. Spoke to contractor and sent emails to JRL to repaint. Ignore emails.
Horrible. Stay away from them as far and as much as possible. Will do anything to make a buck and they are unethical.
Daylight crooks who took my deposit when nothing was wrong with the apartment.Reported them to the board, didn't help.
Rent with them at your own risk.
Not professional at all, rude and untrustworthy agents.
But they are good at threatening people with letters and notices.
Small, unprofessional, unethical company. Check hello peter comments. Steer clear of these frauds.
Rita Lourens. Gerhard Vosloo. Same game with all their unfortunate tenants. They simply say the whole unit needs paint (when it doesn't), and keep your deposit. This is against the Housing act, as general painting and carpet upkeep fall under aging of the property, which is not the tenant's responsibility to pay for. They also provide you with a fake invoice for this, with no details except an unregistered contractor name with a number that doesn't exist, and afterwards a different "contractor" contacts the new tenant. They know how slow and difficult the process is of lodging a complaint at the Housing Tribunal. And how expensive it is to get legal help. So that's how they make their money. I hope this gets out and that the wheel turns and pull these crooks' smirks off their faces.
