Amy, Rouge, Sally, Blaze, Marine and Tangle visited a medical university to find everything about COVID-19. They taught everyone about having hands washed for 20 seconds, wearing masks, preventing COVID-19 attacks and controlling COVID-19 spread, as well as social distancing.

I had an enriching experience attending the School of Education for my MS in Counseling. No wonder it's ranked #2 for graduate education schools - great professors, diverse student body and world class training.

In my 5th and final year of grad school here in the school of engineering. It's a decent university and I've enjoyed my time here, but definitely overrated when it comes to the substance of what you're here for (i.e., education). Academic ethics and producing technically competent, responsible, trustworthy research engineers/scientists is less important here than churning out academic publications, though I guess one could say that about most US universities.

This is a lovely federal-style campus in uptown Baltimore. It makes for a pleasant stroll, especially when coupled with nearby Wyman Park and the Baltimore Museum of art, which sits at the south end of campus.

This university is considered one of the first universities in the international rankings for the quality of education. The university has received international recognition since its inception and is considered one of the most important educational platforms in the world.

University history
Establishing the university
The rise of the university began in the year 1873 after self-made man Johns Hopkins left a fortune estimated at $ 7 million, which is equivalent to $ 140 million in 2011 accounts as a trustee to establish a hospital in his city, Baltimore, Maryland. The source of his wealth is from railroad companies in Ohio and Baltimore.

University colleges
Homewood

The Homewood campus of Johns Hopkins University
It was the first university campus located on Howard Street. Ultimately, they moved to Homewood, in North Baltimore, the property of Charles Carroll, son of the oldest surviving signer of Independence. The Carol Homewood house is one of the finest examples of Federal residential architecture. The estate then passed to the Wayman family who co-made it the main campus for the Schools of Arts, Sciences, and Engineering at the beginning of the twentieth century. Most of its architecture is modeled on the Federal Style of Homewood House. Homewood House has been preserved as a museum. Most of the undergraduate programs are located on this campus

Zanvyl Krieger School of Arts and Sciences: The Krieger School offers over 60 undergraduate majors and minors and over 40 postgraduate programs.
GWC Whiting School of Engineering: The Whiting School has 14 undergraduate and graduate engineering programs and 12 additional fields of study.
College of Education: Originally established in 1909 as the School of Professional Studies in Business and Education, the Education and Business departments became two separate schools in 2007.
Study and admission
Bachelor's degree admission
More information: Johns Hopkins University ...
In the year 2010, 87% of the faculty who were accepted were in the top ten in their schools and who had high scores in the STAT exam. 84% of the students who were accepted graduated in 4 years and 92% graduated in 6 years. The average entry rate for students to study for a baccalaureate from high school was 3.74, which indicates the extent of competition in entry to this ancient university and the rate of applications to enter the university, which has increased in a clear and large way, and as a result of this, the university scrutinizes admission and selects students in particular.

Global and local rankings
For undergraduate studies, Johns Hopkins University has been ranked 13th among American universities according to the US News ranking in recent years. The university s reputation among high school students and their advisors ranked 1 at the level of the United States. In the year 2012 the world university rankings ranked Johns Hopkins University 17th globally, 15 locally at the US level, and 3 in pharmacology and medicine sciences worldwide.

I was drawn to the Ed. School by a local ad campaign highlighting the "Hopkins advantage." The MS in Educational Leadership I earned there was certainly an example of truth in advertising, helping me advance my career with a world-recognized degree. Time and financial resources well invested. And now US News and World Report ranks the Ed. School's graduate programs #1 in the nation. Go 'Hop!

Horrible staff Members. Horrible system. Horrible people. Very snubby set of people, especially snobby if you're searching for a job position. Don't give equal opportunities to people . Their HR is horrible. Wouldn't suggest anyone to go there.

Note - this is a review of the Homewood Campus, not the medical school.
Interesting experience as a grad student. Most valuable lesson - an "R1" institution comes with a host of "prima donna" students and faculty. If you must, get in, get out, and get on with your life.

Recent Hopkins alumna here--JHU has tremendous research opportunities for undergraduates, top-notch researchers and professors from all over the world, and great flexibility for students who want to study lots of different things.

Hopkins of course is reputed for its phenomenal medial school, but it is also home to the #1 school of public health, ties with Harvard for its school of education, has a great International Studies program, and many other wonderful departments in engineering, humanities, and the social and natural sciences.

Students study hard here (sometimes to excess) but for those who wish to get a great amount of learning out of their undergraduate career, Hopkins is a good fit. As a plus, the campus is well-sized and beautiful.
