Everything we ordered was amazing we wished it would have had Bud light but even the Coors light tasted so fresh my wife got a black and tan she said it was one of the best black and tan she's ever had it was made with Guinness and Sierra Nevada lager we ordered the ahi poke and it was bomb we also got the chicken wings with a bunch of sauces on the side perfectly cooked and then we ordered a small pepperoni pizza extra crispy and it came out perfect we love it and we will definitely be back! Our server was also amazing very tentative.

It s the worst place I have ever been. The stuff is extremely unfriendly and even rude. But it can t compete with food. Wings were absolutely horrible and unbeatable, they were acid sour and gave us stomach ache. Cesar was sour as well. We barely ate anything and left hungry. Please don t go there!

We took our order to go and ate st our hotel since it was late and extremely loud in the restaurant. The food was amazing and you get a lot of food for the money. Only bad thing I can say was that about an hour after eating the pizza and calzone both my kids and I had an allergic reaction to what we think was a seasoning in the dough. We do not typically have food allergies so it was strange. My husband ate it and had no reaction so we are not sure what it was but are pretty sure it was in the pizza dough. Over all food was amazing and got a lot of food for the price and everyone seemed to love the place since it was packed. It was just a bit to loud for us since we wanted a quiet dinner.

Delicious food and yummy beer! The staff was very nice and knowledgeable. It's always great to see staff having fun with their tables and with their coworkers. Great sense of teamwork at this place

The chicken parmesan was so hard you couldn't pierce it with a fork. The staff could care less and encouraged me to post there cold and unconcerned behavior. A simple we are sorry. Would have helped an offer for some form of comp would have been appropriate.

The food is okay. The pasta did not have enough marinara sauce and the pizza is a bit on the salty side. They have 2 separate areas where food is served and you self serve. The menu is same on both.

Very friendly staff, extraordinary food. I must say, coming from san diego to mammoth mtn, for the snow is a bit extreme but soooooo worth it...and to have such great food is an added bonus. Thank you John's pizza for creating such a great experience for my family...

Food is good. Service is horrible. Tried to order a take out and was left on hold or placed on the counter for 5:04, during that time, I can hear other orders being placed. I hung up and called back 25 times to get a busy signal. Of course, because they never came back to the phone. So, I drove to the restaurant to place the order and waited 25 minutes. When I informed them that there phone was off the hook they responded, "when it gets busy, we take the phone off the hook". Really??? The owner doesn't want more business?
Finally, I see that our order is ready and sitting on the counter but do they call our order? NO! Hector is too busy texting on his phone until I ask if that's our order.

Place was really busy when we went on a friday night but got good service and food came out in a timely manner. Had the pizza and it was great. Wife had pasta which was also good. Good place for kids as they have a little arcade and games in the back corner and plenty of TVs to watch games.

Ordered pizza for pick up and was given a price. Showed up to pick up and the price was almost 30.00 more than what I was told over the phone. Her response to me was oh, I made a mistake. No I'm sorry....NOTHING. Rolled her eyes at me when I asked for a few more plates.

Good pizzeria in one end of town, in the perfect place if you are on vacation and return to the hotel after a long day in the mountains.
The decor is entirely wood with the lower parts of the stone walls a bit Texan / rodeo style. Televisions with a national sports channel also abound.
The ordering system is very simple because you order food at the bar, you pay for it, they give you your order number and when they call you you can go and pick it up. For the drink they give you one or two glasses and you will take it out of the machines in the middle of the room.
The pizzas are very good in general, but you must remember that in this country the food is very hot, so be careful with what you order to eat.
This establishment also has a pub area where you can have drinks with your friends or watch sports with a good drink in hand.
Good place to eat!

John's Pizza Works in Mammoth Lakes has really great pizzas. The atmosphere is relaxed and very pleasant. You feel in good hands there. You order the food and drinks there from the counter and can then pick them up there. In the meantime, however, you should occupy a table in order to be able to eat there. Overall a very recommendable location.

Pizza was good. Pepperoni rolls were fun appetizer and Caesar salad was enjoyed.

However, the place was not clean. Bar area smelled like spilled beer. Tables were not clean and we had to wipe down ourselves. I suspect whoever was responsible for keeping up the restrooms was sent home early because the trash was overflowing!

A sports bar with lots of large tv screens. As far as food goes, large overpriced portions of mediocre fare. No service to speak of: some high school kids with no interest in the clients.

We needed a place to grab lunch on our long drive so we called in our order: a large pepperoni pizza and garlic cheesebread. I was quoted 20-25 for our order to be ready, we arrived in 15 and it was ready for us. Delicious pizza and the homemade ranch is good too. Thanks guys, this will be our go to lunch stop off the 395!
