We were on a vacation in Denver and Our truck broke down near the dealership we took it in on a Saturday afternoon, they kept the truck until Monday morning when a mechanic look at it and they had us back on the road by Monday afternoon. Very fast service and very professional I would recommend service here!

If you're reading this you're probably trying to get some insight about John Elway Chevrolet. This dealership took very, very good care of me. I told them that I was needing a good, reliable vehicle. I just recently moved from Arkansas to Colorado and my front wheel drive Nissan was not getting me to point A to B safely when there was wintery weather. I informed them that I would not have a co-signer, my credit was decent and I would only have a small amount of money to put down in the beginning. My salesman was Tony M. and he told me it would not be a problem. I visited 3 dealerships before John Elway, each and every one of them claimed they could get me in a car with the payments I was needing. Needless to say, they were not able to make that happen for me.. Tony showed me 2 vehicles and then the 3rd one was the CHARM! It was AWD and the perfect size for myself. Tony was great with communication and just seemed as if he genuinely cared about my current situation. Once I finished with Tony I went to speak with finance and he was just as wonderful. He helped me stay in my budget and still be able to afford gap and a extended warranty.
I would highly recommend visiting with them if you're in the market for new or pre-owned vehicles!!

Parts Department: I just want to give credit to the employees at the parts department. I recently purchased a "new" old truck in need of parts and I have yet to have a bad experience here. Every parts employee has been extremely helpful and friendly. If your looking for OEM parts for an older truck (in my case a 1990, K5) start here. They have the cheapest OEM parts from any Chevy dealer in town and they are often able to get many parts "no longer available" through their vintage supplier.

They both explained to me everything in detail and stayed past hours to make sure we had a deal that I was okay with. Definitely recommend you guys to check them out!

Everyone we spoke to was wonderful. From our salesman, Alec to the managers Jeff and Jason, to the finance manager Tony. Also Thomas showing Alec the ropes on paperwork. All 10s. They bent over backwards to answer questions, show us vehicles and get us out the door with vehicles for both of us. They exceeded our expectations. They met and exceeded the standards we laid out when we first explained our needs. The finance manager explained everything and made sure that we walked away devoid of concerns or questions. Seriously fantastic car buying experience.

Received a referral from a competing dealership. My wife and I had become so frustrated with other Chevy dealerships in the area - that we had canceled our attempt to move to an EV just 24 hours prior.

So...called the dealership and spoke to Milad - and vented my frustrations about his unaffiliated sister Chevy dealers in our area.

Milad was courteous, calm, collected, and welcoming. We talked and he was able to get me to calm down, and into their dealership after I verified some numbers. I had been baited and switched at two other dealers - so I was suspicious.

What a great guy! In person he was the consummate gentleman, calm, relaxing - and it was clear - Milad was a consumer advocate - while balancing the needs of the dealership.

They gave us when in person - the price on the website, and some perks for beings teachers/military veterans....NO BAIT AND SWITCH!
The whole dealership was great!!

So we went from giving up on purchasing an EV - to driving home in our new Bolt - in the exact color my wife liked!

And it wasn't pressurized salesmanship either - it was calm gentlemanly behavior, no pressure - and direct answers - NO BS HERE!!

Genuinely - I'd give them 6 out of 5 stars if I could...My wife and I categorically recommend Milad - and the whole dealership. The Sales Manager was great, the Finance Manager was great....I mean - what else can you ask for? It was a great experience overall!

So great job here - and go check out this dealership - ask for Milad, or anyone else from what we saw - everyone was chill and calm. I can guarantee you, that you will be treated with dignity, respect, courtesy- and best of all - a straight deal on a new car....

I'm extremely happy with how helpful the team at John Elway, especially our salesperson Kre, was while we were searching for a car. One thing I really loved was that they were very low pressure and allowed us to search at our pace; we came in to test drive a car and then didn't do anything more for a few weeks, and during that time we didn't get hounded by the dealership as to where we were in our process. Sometimes dealerships really want to get in you in and keep you there until you make a decision - I definitely prefer to move slowly for such a big purchase, and I'm happy to give my business to a dealership that respects that.

Our salesperson Kre was very personable, was knowledgeable when we had technical questions, and wasn't afraid to get answers for the questions she didn't know. We felt extremely comfortable with her level of expertise, and I especially appreciate her taking the time to show me exactly how the infotainment worked with android auto - a feature that I had never used before.

I also appreciate how quickly we were able to come to a price that worked for us; there wasn't a big show of needing to get special approval, or sitting with a manager that promised that the price was a 'special favor', or anything like that - John Elway beat the other offers we had, did it quickly, and did it without any pain for us. We walked away with the vehicle we wanted and at a great price.

I highly recommend this dealership for a low pressure, enjoyable buying experience.

They had what the Dealership was calling a slasher sale yesterday on Saturday..........it was announced over the radio prices as follows($500 to $19,000) 2 vehicles we re in that $500 range that was to get people to come out this was supposed to be happen from 9am to 11am.....I got there around 8:35am & it didn t start until well after 10:00am I picked a car that was a 2010 price at 13,680 when he got to me the discount was $2,000 I was so disappointed & upset after seeing him discounting other vehicles up to 50% I just had to leave & I will Never go back again..............wasted my time it was Bullshhh in my opinion!

I needed some front end work done and we had a discrepancy on the bill. After a discussion with service tech Julian Gonzales and Service Manager Todd Terry, they took care of everything on the spot. Perhaps the finest service I have ever received at any dealership! Honesty & Integrity are highly valued here!

If you come here, please speak to Jenny and Tyler. My boyfriend and I had gone to 5 different dealerships and we should have come here first. They got us a good monthly payment for how bad our credit is! We claimed bankruptcy last year and we were still able to walk away with a nice new car and did not feel pressured in the slightest. They felt more like friends rather than a salesman :) we will definitely be coming back here in the future!

I wrote this review back in January 2018, concerning an employee, Dealership Employee DIMITRIOS PAPADOPOULOS within the service department of the John Elway dealership in Denver. I still feel the same way towards this man as I have not spoken with him to resolve my concern and I hope to never speak with him again. Just so everyone knows, my 60 day warranty has expired and there is no way I am driving over 50 miles south for them to provide service.

In my follow-up response from January, yes i have been refunded my monies but the customer service provided to me from two people at John Elway carry a much stronger congrats. It took over two months to get my money back but I never dropped a phone call or not respond to a followup call, I stuck with my concern because I knew I was correct about the problems I was experiencing with my vehicle, leaking transmission and oil lines to the radiator.

Women, not just men are watching u-tube videos and learning how to identify problems. I didn't have a problem with the vehicle, I was just a 58 year old curious customer who loved the new-used truck she had just purchased, so I took a flashlight and laid under the truck looking and in amazement how clean it was. That is when I discovered the leaks that I am documenting.

I am giving the dealership a higher rating, due to two people, not with the service department, but they called, cared to listen and make it right for me.

Nikki Wilson - She was my saleswoman and took my story to management. She went the extra mile for me and I am sure she would do the same for any customer that shared their concerns. Customer First!

Joshua Betencourt, GSM - Joshua listened. The gift of all, a GSM who listened. I cried out of the frustration that a service employee in so many words called me a liar of what I was seeing under my truck. I had pictures I knew what was happening, Joshua listened.

I would return to purchase another vehicle but I hope the one Nikki chose and sold me will last a very long time.

I bought my new car from this dealership and expected that when I needed repairs, this would be the best place to go. Unfortunately, my recent experience was expensive and disappointing. The service center told me they were "not sure" what was wrong with my car and that it may be an issue with my car burning oil (a common problem with the Equinox). They changed my oil , charged me $181.00 (!) and told me I should watch the oil levels. The rep at the counter (Julian) basically said that the number of issues I was concerned about (loud sound on acceleration, engine shutting off while idling etc.) were due to low oil levels. I called back the next day to tell him the engine light had come on and wanted to speak to him and ask if I should bring it back in. No call back-no response!! I felt "blown off" two days in a row! My instincts told me that I would never solve the problem with the John Elway service center. I then decided to bring my car to a local repair shop in Littleton. In less than two hours, I was shown that there were two issues. One was that the air cleaner case had been broken when replaced (and was letting in air causing the loud sounds on acceleration) and the second was a problem with the cam shaft actuator. I did these two repairs along with a change of brake fluid for a total of $600.00. Problem solved quickly and efficiently with excellent customer service! I should have saved my money and went to a shop that actually cares about good service and has good knowledge of what needed to be done in the first place. I will not buy another car from John Elway and will never bring it back there for repairs. Save your time and money!!

The sales center was great. Sold me a good car at a good price. They weren't too pushy and worked to get me the rate and payments I wanted. The car had a window issue and when I took it in to the service center things fell apart. I had an appt, but waited forever. They didn't address the window, but a bunch of things I didn't know the car even needed and then when I requested the window issue be fixed only, they kept pushing the other stuff. I got a second opinion and the extra needs it had were BS. Great sales team, amazing customer service, poor mechanic team.

Bought a 2009 Ford F350 pickup in October. They will promise things and do not deliver. Their service department clearly does not know how to work on tires. I wanted the tires from my old truck moved onto my new truck as they were in better condition. Elway service damaged the tire and then set the tire pressure at 100psi. Was also promised a full tank of gas in the new truck. Didnt get it. Was also promised a second key and key fob. Didnt get it. Had to go and pick up my title documents. A very unorganized and unprofessional organization. I am out over $400 in expenses related to fixing things they promised but didnt deliver. Not to mention the 10 extra hours of my life I will never get back due to having to chase down and correct their errors. Buy with caution.

It was a very unwelcoming experience start-to-finish. I showed up, went to check in, and the guy instantly said something to the extent of, "You're with Chris; not me" and pointed at a desk where no one was standing. I said I was just trying to check in that I was there and had not set up my appointment with anyone in particular. He reluctantly took my keys and said he would get them to Chris. I asked where I was supposed to wait at that point.

Eventually the car was moved into the garage and later taken out, which I could see where I was waiting. I went and checked if that meant it was finished or to see what was going on. I got a very snarky response about that being how they checked in cars and then eventually moved them to a different area. I asked if I would be contacted when it was finished.

I sat for another two hours before I finally heard from someone, who called me, instead of just coming to the waiting room to get me. I went in and he said a woman would get me checked out. I stood waiting for her to return for 5-10 minutes before the guy came back, showing signs of irritation, and said he would now help me. I said it would be good to just get it finished at this point since it had already taken 2.5 hours. He sternly said, "$75." Not once did anyone even go over what they did with me during this time, but I paid it and left.

I certainly realize oil changes and general maintenance isn't a dealership's priority. It does make me question why they offer such services when they are such an inconvenience for them to do, and I can definitely see that I am going to be better off getting my car serviced elsewhere from here-on-out.

Service buyer beware - My grandmother had been coming here for years for service. She recently brought in her 2008 Hummer H3 with a power drain issue. Thankfully I had them call me to approve any and all issues before they fixed them.

They called me about an hour after the car was dropped off suggesting I need to buy a new battery because my current one was only drawing 3 volts and they could not test anything. Unaware that I had bought it 3 months ago, I told them no and that I would come pick the battery up and do a warranty exchange.

When I got to the retailer to do the exchange, they tested the battery and it came back just fine. Through conversation with guy behind the counter he found out that I came to this particular place and said "oh I have friends that work there and they tell me how they do this to customers all the time".

When I brought this up to the service manager, he looked into to it but came back claiming he had no explanation of why or how that happened.

Needless to say, I am pulling the vehicle and will take it to a repair shop that has better integrity!

OMG. Awesome is an understatement for the service I got from here. Especially from Ms Rachel Phillips. She was able to help with a loan where no one else could and helpped me through the whole process. Rachel answered all my questions and explained things to me that she thought would work out in my favor in the long run. She was more than awesome and went above and beyond in customer service to help me. Thank you Rachel and her team at John Elway Chevrolet.

Nice dealership. Parts department is not very knowledgeable about hitch mounted bike racks. They are not car special they are hitch size specific. And most of them are designed to fit multiple hitch sizes.

My husband and I have been looking for a truck for awhile. We have been to other dealerships with no luck. Big mistake on our part. Our experience at John Elway was amazing! Our salesman Nate Kanwai was great! He was helpful, not pushy at all, and made the whole experience easy and comfortable. I will recommend John Elway to everyone. We will be back!

tried to bilk me out of $900 for a new Compressor for the Air Conditioner... When it too 16 OZ of refrigerant to fix. $34..

If they didn't believe they could fix this (as you say) they should have refunded the $188 dollars. I have since been informed that this is a common problem with this vehicle and the solution is to refill fluid and run the periodically in the winter to keep the seals from drying out and leaking.

Please look for a better solution than replacing a compressor for $900.

We always have amazing customer service at John Elway Chevrolet on South Broadway, but this last visit was OUTSTANDING. I took my car in last week to check out a coolant leak. I was helped by Chris Vendegnia. I received a call within a couple hours of dropping it off telling me what the diagnosis of my car was; A part had cracked that should not have cracked on a car with only 50k miles on it. After speaking with Chris, he was able to repair the cracked piece completely free of charge. Chris understood that I was very frustrated about the broken piece, and he did everything he could to help relieve that frustration with a smile on his face the entire time. Chris is very polite and has great customer service skills. I definitely recommend this dealership and Chris for all your maintenance needs!

Contacted them about a used Camaro I was interested in. Spent hours working with Ellison via email and phone to submit details about trade etc. We live 90 minutes away so I wanted to see if we can make a deal remotely before driving 3 hours round trip. After wasting half a day, he says okay, come on down to test drive that convertible. I said I called about a black coupe. Oh, we sold that car last week. He cannot even keep track of what car I want to buy. Over the last month he has called me at least 6 times. He has called me to tell me he did not have a car to sell me. He called to tell me he had a car that did not match what I want. He cannot remember basic details and is constantly hassling me. Most unprofessional salesman I have ever dealt with and I never even made it into the building. Stay far far away!!!

Recently bought a Chevy Sonic hatchback from this dealer. Loving the car, it's lots of fun to drive, efficient and gets lots of compliments.

I worked with Jacob Tighe to test drive and purchase the car. Jacob was a big help and enthusiastic about the Sonic. Negotiating the price and such was not a hassle. There was back and forth naturally but it was done in a relaxed manner with good will. Very enjoyable shopping experience.

They are great at selling cars but getting them to respond to anything else is like trying to get a mime to talk...it just doesn't happen! I bought my second car from John Elway last August and was very happy with the purchase. The car was totaled in a accident on July 26 and on August 3 I contacted them to get the gap insurance information and the cancelation contract form (I learned about this process from the first car that was totaled). On August 3, Camilla sent me the form in which I sent it back and here it is Sept 14th and I still can't get a hold of her. I have left her more voicemails than I count, I've emailed her and the lady does even have the decency to return the call or email back. I haven't been rude or anything. I just want it taken care of. My gap insurance is just waiting on this one document from them...it's wasting time and now affecting my credit! I contacted the dealership earlier this week and asked to speak with someone that does what Camilla does but that isn't her...I was transferred to a very nice gentleman that got all my information, told me to send him the paperwork and cancelation form via email and that either he or someone would contact me back. Four days later and I have heard nothing. Lol. Its absolutely mind boggling. I live 45 minutes from the dealership and would have to take time off work to go down there. AND...I still don't have a car from my accident because the remaining balance from this loan is on there . But I will not ever go back to these people. Its so freakin frustrating...just send the cancelation form so that the gap insurance can pay off the car and I can get another one. And at the very least respond to my email and let me know what's going on! Like, I did buy a car from you guys...TWICE! Can I at least get a response from someone??!!

I called this location and had the pleasure of speaking with Justin C., he was very professional and eager to help us even with an open bankruptcy on our credit report. Justin made a stressful and long process fun and we were in and out in about 3 and a half hours, which was wonderful knowing we traveled 2 hours from Cheyenne, WY to come to this dealership specifically! My husband and I had a hassle free experience with Justin and the finance manager Steve Miller. I certainly recommend going to this dealership for your car buying needs. Justin made sure my husband and I were comfortable with the 2015 Chevrolet Trax LS we chose to purchase and he went out of his way to make sure we had options before we chose. Justin and Steve took care of us and it was a pleasure working with them. This was the best experience we've ever had at a dealership thanks to Justin and the awesome staff at John Elway!!

Our experience was one of misunderstanding. We drove from Telluride to Denver to test drive the Chevy Bolt and test drive one of the Nissan Leaf on the lot. The website listed two Nissan Leaf for sale but when arrived there were no Leafs and we wandered aimlessly through the dealership until we asked a nice salesman if we could drive a Bolt. We drove the Bolt and it was a great car. My low rating is due to the miscommunication through the website and the phone call I placed with a salesman prior to our arrival.

I ve never been so uncomfortable at a car dealership. We showed up to look at leasing two cars. When we walked in nobody was there to help. Finally a female asked us what we need and started to help us and the. Randomly walked away. After waiting we went inside and found a gentleman that said he could help us as he was chowing down on food l. After a short talk he walked us to a vehicle and said here it is. When we asked to look inside he seemed annoyed. While walking in the female prior female employee pulls up in another vehicle and the male and female start verbally fighting in front of us.

We promptly got in our vehicle and left.

Originally went to their website and was going to purchase online and have vehicle delivered. Then I received a call from Gabriel, one of their managers. He let me know it would be better if I came in so I made an appointment. (For those of you looking right now during the Covid issue, you have to make an appointment. They are short staffed and under Health Department regulations) So I arrived at my appointed time, Gabriel turned me over to their salesman Troy. I can honesty say it was the best car buying experience I ve had and I ve purchased a lot of cars! During these hard times remember to call ahead and make an appointment otherwise they can t help you. Ask for Gabriel and Troy, they are/were awesome.

I was told my front tires needed replacing. I asked that they be kept for me to look at when I picked up my truck. They were not. I asked that I be told how they were bad the service advisor I worked with was not there to tell me. I got the alignment report and the specified requirements were within spec before the alignment only a few that were not specified were changed. I can see no reason from that report why the tires were so badly worn as to require replacement.

Everybody was nice and personable, but the fact that the service advisor nor the "defective" parts were not there (especially, when the service advisor sent the shuttle to pick me up) makes me very leery and wonder if I was ripped off.

3 hours after posting the above,
I got a call back from the service department. They had made the effort to find the tires and research what happened and gave me good answers. I won't go into those details but in fact is the tires did need to be replaced. Plus they are giving me a future oil change to make up for the hassle. In retrospect the only complaint is the communication could have been better; based on what they told me it will be the next time so hopefully instead of adjusting my 1 star to 4 stars, they'll get a 5 star out of the gate.

Two months later, with 34000 miles driven, the overhead light switch controls is not working and left second row arm rest is noisy. Bring my suv to Ed bozarth in Havana but they wanna charge $129 just for the lights tho my vehicle is still under warranty. Then I bring it to john elway to fix. The service advisor Chris Brad field waste no time to diagnose the problem and got the above faulty parts fixed the very next day. I m very grateful and truly appreciate for all the work they have done. Outstanding service and a wonderful experience I got.

Terrible experience. Got the run around from the sales guy worse than I have ever have. Finance department agreed to certain financing terms then called me to say I didn t qualify after I already had the vehicle home. I have perfect credit. I told them fine and I d bring the vehicle back because I didn t want it at the higher interest rate. Then they said oh never mind you do qualify but you have to come in and sign the papers again. Now it s way past the expiration date for the registration and DMV days the dealer hasn t completed the paperwork to get it registered. Waited in line for 2 hours to hear this and then had to pay for a temp registration extension. They were the only dealer with the vehicle trim and color I wanted so I bought it there. That s the only reason. Will never buy from them again and wouldn t recommend them to anyone. Don t go here.

By far the best car-buying experience ever! Alex Jennings did an amazing job staying on top of things and was super patient with me. He and his manager, Gabe, offered a fair price on my trade-in (even more than I expected!) and I got an amazing deal on my new car! I didn t feel pressured to sign anything - Alex and Gabe were super easy to work with. The same for everyone else - super friendly and welcoming. Keep up the great work guys!

Honestly the worst experience I have ever had. I purchased a Kia Soul from them about a year ago that needed windshield repair and thought I was good to go. Turned out something was wrong with the heating system (so much for a rigorous inspection) and the car was held by their mechanic Julian, for literally over a month. I was given a loaner to drive in the meantime (at least) but at the four week mark I called again to check at which point I was informed that they can't even fulfill repairs on Kia's. Wow. So a couple more weeks with Peak Kia (they had to send the car elsewhere) and the car was ready. Until I found out at my local Midas that when the radiator had burst during their half baked attempts at repair it had damaged my spark plugs and they left me with a busted radiator hose which could have cost me my car. This dealership refused to accept accountability even though they admitted to having to replace my radiator among many other things (I even have receipts). To this day the heating system is a nuissance regardless of their "repairs" and Peak Kia's "repairs". I ended up spending even more money having my local Midas rectify all of their faulty work. Additionally their is no customer service, the salesman never call you back... And they accused me of stealing their loaner car because no one put in the system that i had returned the keys to their manager. Yep. Worst experience of my life at a dealership.

3 days after taking delivery of a new 2016 Silverado, the ABS light was on. I called right away and was told to just come in as soon as I was able. At 2:00 pm the same day I came in and within 90 minutes was driving away with a new speed sensor and alignment check. Pretty impressive service department to get me in.
