I have had dozens of photographs and drawings framed by JLP. The frame selection, quality of materials, service and workmanship are superb.

I brought a painting in to get re-matted, and they really hooked me up. They took the time to look over what I had, and offer a bunch of suggestions. And I'm glad they did, as I wouldn't have even known what it meant to 'float' it via hinges (which is what I chose for it) if they hadn't. It came out really well, and was very reasonably priced, as they even threw in new glass to better protect the painting. I'll definitely go back to have other stuff done there.

I ve had JLP take care of several separate pieces of art for me and have been thrilled with how they turned out each and every time. Won t be going anywhere else so long as I m in the area.

I was looking around for professional framers in the area as I had just gotten my first high quality print of one of my favourite paintings. I decided to just got for it and went to JLP after visiting the website. What a wonderful experience they offered! Granted I was a newbie to frame jobs so they patiently guided me through steps from mat selection to the frames and they have so, so many choices! They advised me on options and I just let them do their job. When I got it back I was incredibly happy with their work: It looks so good! I'm really OCD when it comes to frame corners, having the patterns line up and what not, and I have to say they really made me happy with getting it all perfect! I highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to do high quality frame jobs!

Fantastic framing. Professional and helpful, it is always a truly positive experience to have framing done by those who understand aesthetics and preservation. I have been using them for close to two decades, and will continue for at least the next two.

I've had custom frames made for my work in New York, Houston and D.C, but these are the best yet. Thom and Rachel walked me though each of my choices till we arrived at the right combination of mat color, frame depth, wood type, hinging, finish and glazing. The work was completed on schedule, and the final result both protects my work and shows it to its best effect.

I am their son and I think this place is a very good framing place because they never mess up artwork.

There's a reason the last time this place won Best of Baltimore was in 2003. The storefront mostly caters to an older generation and the staff seems bothered that you are even there. The showroom is in the basement and feels dark and sad.Don't plan on finding anything you need unless you are into gaudy designs that will cost you a fortune. This kind of experience in framing won't last long when there are so many other friendly and creative shops out there.

This framing place was recommended by the artist herself as her work required specific framing work. Not only were they open to our amateur recommendations, they were incredibly patient with us (and our lack of knowledge), willing to explain why certain things would work or not.
When it came time to come to our house and mount the piece, it came out exactly as we had discussed. In addition, they were extremely meticulous in their mounting process. It's been over a year and that piece has not budged. We could not be happier with the work Thom and Matt did.
Definitely will be a returning costumer.

JLP Custom Picture Framing Gallery has been my go to place for all framing needs over the years and they did not disappoint on my latest visit. They offered the perfect frame and matte choices as a beautiful setting for a large heirloom photograph I ll be presenting as a Christmas gift for a family member. Thank you JLP, my expectations were more than pleasantly but not surprisingly exceeded!

They did a custom double sided shadow box for some documents I had. They did an amazing job. Blew away my expectations! !!!! Top notch
