JLM is not your typical recruitment agency; they seek out candidates with who not only possess an incredible skill set, but soft skills as well. Thanks to JLM for placing me in a fantastic role that will only open more doors for me in the civil construction and engineering arena! Year #3 of moving forward. JLM pride themselves in forging & maintaining relationships with their employees as well as their clients via onsite periodic visits to the site offices, whereas most recruitment agencies do not. I get an immediate response and support whenever I have any questions or concerns. After my 1st year, I was asked if there was anything they could improve upon. Since this was a 5-year project (and possibly beyond), I suggested increasing the amount of vacation days and implementing a retirement account. And YES, they listened and VIOLA!, they made it happen! JLM is not your typical agency; they are relationship specialists! I recommend this company without any reservations!

I had been let go by a company, rather sporadically. I reached out to one of the strategic relationship specialists and had a video interview with her within a 2 day period. I was open to relocating out of town based on being in the construction industry, you follow where the jobs go, and the way things worked out, JLM was able to match me with a local general contractor within a weeks time. Company received my resume on Thursday, interviewed the following Wednesday, and started that next Monday. Alisha and her team could not have made this transition and job search any easier. Alisha called me the day of my interview to wish me good luck and try to ease my nerves. On my official first day, another team member followed up to see it went, what part of the project excites me most, and things to make you feel and understand that it isn't just about making a dollar, but that JLM is about building relationships.

I'm originally from Los Angeles, CA. I had been considering moving to Arizona but finding a job was a bit difficult. Until I applied with JLM. Almost immediately JLM connected me with Kiewit Infrastructures, a well respected construction company. JLM, Esther in particular, set up a phone interview with Kiewit. Two days later Kiewit gave me a job offer for a construction project in Buckeye, AZ, assisting the City of Buckeye Project Manager. JLM was able to negotiate a higher pay rate than I asked for. I moved and started working with Kiewit two weeks from the job offer date. I've been working here in Buckeye, AZ for almost a month now. Esther checks up on me every now and then by text, email or phone to make sure I'm doing okay. She's great and sincerely cares about how my family and I are doing. This has been the best decision and experience ever.
